I liked Dr Macwan but she left as did much of the other staff. I would not have anyone else scrape away at my mouf. I'm loyal like that. Betty is a joy to talk to and handles that office with precision and pleasantry. Sometimes I call her just to say hi. Okay not really, but I should. And Dr. S., well, he is the last line here that I can't say I look forward to seeing only because he points out everything that I am doing wrong and all the horrors that can lurk inside and sometimes gives me nightmares. Do NOT get the man started on tongue scraping, he can go for an hour. I look at the bad reviews here and just can't believe they're for the same office and same dentist. We've been coming here since 2003. I do miss their old sign with the big smile and bright red lips. Now I pass up turning into their parking lot . Wish they would bring it back. That's my only complaint. Again I ask you to look at this smile... would it steer you wrong?

I had my first appointment here and was so impressed with the entire experience. All of the staff were friendly, reassuring, and helpful from start to finish. Dr. Hansen took great care of my teeth and was very thorough when following up about any concerns I had. I had my X-rays taken and a routine cleaning, and I left feeling great about my visit! It's a smaller, local dental office, but definitely worth checking out. I'm so glad we found this place and will absolutely be coming back!

After literally a dozen years without a visit to the dentist (bad adolescent experiences!) I…read moredecided it was time to get my teeth professionally inspected. I found this place and was impressed by how nice they were... no pretentious gatekeeper, no snobby doctors. The 2 dentists there are very professional but also very friendly! It's actually a really good time when I go there. I've had fillings, 2 crowns and a bunch of regular cleanings now and it's been a good ride. I no longer have anxiety about dental work and I must say that the novocaine injections are literally near painless! When I had a tooth that needed a root canal, both dentists came to speak with me, inspect my tooth, discuss opinions and treated me and my case as if I was one of their family members. If you're needing a cleaning (or anything else!) give them a try and be a reborn lover of dental care like me! (full disclosure: I am not an employee, relative or business partner of the owners, they're just that good!)

I'm really happy with the three Kim sisters! (There's literally three sisters running this dental…read moreoffice, which how cool is that, haha?) Their office is conveniently located by the 390 entrance on Lake Street in Hanover Park, so I've been able to hit them up for my appointments much more easily than dentists with offices way out in Arlington Heights or Barrington. So far, I've had a couple cleanings here and each has been painless with a gentle touch. I was advised of a few potential cavities and being in my 40s, I was a bit like "Nah, they won't develop into cavities since I brush 2x per day and floss occasionally," but sure enough -- a few teeth have started hurting between my 6-month cleanings (I blame cocktails and pastries, LOL). Naturally, filling a few cavities -- versus neglecting and pulling those teeth -- is my next agenda here. There you go: they're very friendly, affordable (in conjunction with my insurance plan) and really local since I work in Schaumburg and live in Hanover Park. Their office staff is great too, keeping you in the loop with texts for appointments and general updates.

Hi, I've never posted a review, but this lady needs to lose…read morebusiness. I went to her for a cleaning and she told me that I needed a deep cleaning about after a 10 min. check up. I floss at LEAST once a day and brush twice. I just couldn't belive my teeth were that bad. She got a predertimination from my insurance and it would cost $970 about $600 out of my pocket. I himmed and hawwwed about going. I heard horror stories about it. My gut said to get a second opinion. So, I did. It cost me $121 and I brought my xrays and chart that she had done. My chart read 4,5's through out all my back teeth. Well, when I went to get a second oppinion, my teeth were actually 2,3's and 3,3's I had 2 3,4. NOT ONE 4,5. She's a LIAR. If she does that to 100 people a year (probably way more) do the #'s she's making a lot of money doing unnecessary work!!!!!!! I'd advise you NOT to goto her. And if ONE person changes their mind from my post, it was worth taking the time to post. Find a different dentist that you can hopefully trust. I didn't even want to give them a star. She doesn't deserve it. I've emailed her asking for a refund for the exam that was lies. Haven't heard from her.
