This library is centrally located for our county and has good amenities and selection of non-fiction, fiction and technical books available. Generally it is not very crowded and is pretty quiet but with a friendly staff. We were even able to check out some SAT prep books for my kid. Highly recommended for local residents. read more

If you need somewhere to read or use a computer this is great. They also have private rooms for use - 2 hours, but need to signup "old school" on clipboard. There are two printers and you pay per page on honor system. There's only one copier and you pay per page. It can scan documents for free that get emailed where you want. Oh yeah, they have books and DVDs. If you really need serious research for business, go to one of the business schools like George Mason in Fairfax or Arlington. read more

Very nice library with printing and free scanning! I've come here a few times to study or print and scan documents. Quiet with a studious atmosphere. Staff is also helpful with instructions and pointing out where to go. Glad Ashburn has a solid library with great amenities. I don't think I'll need to head to Reston or Cascades anymore! read more

This is a pretty decent library. The staff is friendly and there is lots of resources.

This library is small, but for me, it always does the trick. They have a decent-sized children's section which I need to use for school (I'm an elementary education major) that has TONS of books, so parents-- if you're taking your kids here you will definitely find stuff. There are also reading areas you can read to the kids in, and they have scheduled read aloud sessions you can take them to as well. Also, I really like the computer area, but it does kind of suck that you have to pay for each page you need to print. It's generally very quiet and people are pretty respectful of each other. I will warn you that they will be charging starting Oct. 5 for overdue books. Which makes sense, because who actually returned them on time before? It's an easy way to make money! I come here often and I recommend it. read more

I'm giving this 5 stars although we only dropped by for a visit and didn't take out any books. So be forewarned. We needed somewhere air conditioned for 30 minutes while other family members were busy at another thing. This library is really delightful; nice architecture, lots of light, big windows to gaze out on the sunshine. We spent our time in the kid's section, which is very well stocked and a little reader's playground. If we lived nearby, we'd be here more often! read more

I come here every three weeks to get books or audio books Even I would be happier if the audio books selections was as good as the books but This library is not as old as the others Still so far I got what I was looking for I can stay here for hours and lose myself (Believe me ,I'm not geek ) still duty calls and i have to leave Don't worry my beautiful library I'll be back In three weeks for new adventures read more

Book drops are pretty fantastic when you return your books - they have conveyor belts and two lanes from which to choose. Impressive DVD collection but I wish they had a card catalog even just for marveling. Would be cool if you could check out toys like some of the fairfax county ones have. read more

LOVE THIS LIBRARY! I take the kids I babysit for several of their story-time events and the woman who runs it is so happy and jolly the whole time. My little 2 1/2 year old loves storytime and the five year old gets into it too. Then we pick out ten books and checkout. The five year old loves to check out and the 2 year old loves to stuff the books in the bag. I've also used this library for studying. Its got some nice little cubicles in the back, or some tables in the main area with plenty of powercords for laptops. They also have free wifi, which is a necessity. The one time I needed help the librarian at the information desk was super knowledgeable and helped me find a book that helped me write a report. I love this little library. read more

I have lived a lot of places and this is by far the worst library I've ever been to, in terms of content. Over the year and a half that I've lived in this area, I have searched the database numerous times for books that I was looking for for professional purposes as well as personal reading, and only one book ever came up as something they actually carried. I'm so disappointed, because the library is typically somewhere I frequent, wherever we live, but this one is abismal. I've had to resort to getting ebooks from the Cleveland library as a result, but since I haven't been there to renew my card, I can't even do that. read more

I recently found this library And I'm lovin it But the STUPEDEST part about this library is that they have an area called "QUITE AREA AND READING AREA" That is nothing close to what its called Cuz the area on top of the shelves that separates the area is open and you can hear every one talking like are as close as they can be to you They should've put glass there to get the noise Other than this is its a nice library read more

I'm an avid book reader and I needed to find a closer library location. So this is my new near library! This library is really nice and the receptionist was really friendly while helping me get a new library card. The kids books are in their own half of the library and they have computers in the kids area for the kids to play learning games! In between the kids half of the library and the adult /young reader section is a nice sized movie, music, and games selection. This section seems to be pretty up to date with movies only 2 years old. The issue I had was I have a book list and none of the books I wanted to read were at this location. I end up leaving without checking anything out. I know I could request the books to be sent to this branch but I opted not to on this visit. Maybe next time.. read more
