Visually, the shop is stunning--they feature lovely statues of Yemaya, and the massive Santa Muerte greeting you at the entrance is simply gorgeous. I don't know if it's because I still had my waitress apron on or because I wasn't a middle age white woman like all the other customers in at that time but I received zero acknowledgment. Even at my attempt to make eye contact (with a smile) I was completely ignored. While they offered everyone else some of the snacks that they had prepared, I was left high and dry. Even the white women who walked in after me were acknowledged and offered food. I guess they assumed a young brown waitress wouldn't spend any money in their shop. Just another pseudo enlightened crystal shop I suppose. However, it is larchmont. Bummer because I wait tables a block away, teach yoga and am always in need of crystal healing for myself and my students. Just do better from now on.

I picked up a super big bundle of sage & lavender to shift the static summer energy in my home. I returned again to pick up a beautiful cluster of Aragonite in a Sputnik formation, and brought it home to aid me in my craft work. Paula makes absolutely fabulous necklaces & jewelry, and is very talented. Prices are moderately high, but if one is willing to invest in their magic healing energies, then I dare say they're worth it!
