Using my sat nav just to try find a grocery shop and I passed budgens and as I was trying to find a safe place to turn around I happen to find Tesco which to my delight had a big car park which was sign posted very well! So I got a great spot next to the entrance and at first grabbed a basket as I knew this was a small store but just going down one aisle I then decided I needed a trolley as there was more items you can get through this store! I ended up doing my whole weekend shopping which was great for me as I didn't have to venture anywhere else and the queues for the till was very short and staff were very friendly!

Unfortunately, one of the checkout staff was not very friendly. My husband and myself went to the 10 items or less counter as all the counters were really busy and this one was practically empty, had 13 items which we could of split and paid for separately but did not, only for the checkout staff to rant and out loud rudely about us to her colleague who was taking over to serve us. It was unprofessional and had she mentioned the till was 10 items or less we would of told her that we will split the items between us, which would of meant she was serving twice instead of once taking more time up. Customer service skills need reviewing.

Are you staying near Excel? Do you want a convenience store? You have two options:…read more1. Whistlestop in the conference center. Be prepared for overpriced food, highly-variable (and unpredictable) hours, and the company of people wearing suits. 2. This place. It's not the best Tesco Express I've seen. They have a rather small selection of ready-to-go meals, and I think they only get one delivery of pastries per day. But they're open early, they're open late, and their prices are good, in spite of being the only food option for the numerous hotels and upscale residential developments that have gone up nearby. Go Tesco!
