What I like most about Aldi is that it sells authentic food, not brand name foods. I love that I can go in and get German sausage, Spanish chorizo and Swedish smoked cheese all right next to each other, and it's all real, authentically made food, as opposed to Asda's own etc. My one reason this specific store doesn't have a 5* review is that there's 5 checkouts and they never open more than 2, even when it's absolutely mobbed. The staff could also do with being a bit more friendly; they never look pleased in their chosen workplace! ALSO, incase anyone didn't know this because I certainly didn't; Aldi sells William Brothers beer, which is absolutely wonderful!

If you don't know what Aldi is all about then I suggest you visit. They have an excellent selection of Scottish craft beers (think BrewDog, Eden Mill, Tempest, Broughton etc.) and a great lineup of wines too. Water, milk, soda, sparkling wine, red wine, pasta, bread, steaks, blue cheese, fruit and veggies. Some snacks for our doggie. As usual we found everything we needed and as usual for the same good quality and prices. Another enjoyable shopping experience at Tesco.

I find the security staff intimidating and rude I think one guy there has mummy issues and should really have counselling and not be taking his anger out on customers who do no wrong. The self service section is a joke as half of them have not been switched on and the one l used made me feel as if l just won the jackpot on a fruit machine in a pub, how can a shop justify paying a customer 62p change in 2p pieces. Ice cream that has been defrosted is being re frozen and sold again when l reported the issue to the duty manager he did nothing. Tesco sort yourselves out!

Being a M&S Simply food store you'd think there wasn't much to this place, but you'd be wrong…read more At the left hand side of the store is a decent size M&S cafe which does the usual cafe range which is usually restricted to larger size M&S stores. We've had the occasional lunch here on a weekend and the food is good and the service is what you would expect. One of these days we'll have to pop in and try their Afternoon Tea which is currently being subtlety promoted. The store itself has all the standard M&S foods which they somehow managed to cram into this tiny little store. It even has a small bakery for fresh breads and pastries and a small freezer section. For those on the go there's a small sandwich and party food section behind the min entrance, where you can grab a sandwich and get to the self service tills rather than fighting your way through the store just for a bit for lunch. It's always busy at the weekends, especially when they do a meal deal (best to go as soon as the advert airs on TV so that you don't miss out.) but if you time it right you can occasionally have the place to yourself to browse without tripping over the staff or having to dodge other customers baskets. As a vegetarian there is a decent choice available and M&S are slowly expanding their vegi options ( I'm not just thinking about their range of Veggie Percy Pigs, Colin the caterpillars, etc - honest ) however is is a bit frustrating when you see a nice desert on the TV adverts and find you can't have it because it contains Gelatine :-( Overall it's nice, good (slightly pricy) food, handy when you want a light lunch or hot drink, but best to avoid at peek times.

Along with a wide variety of frozen food they stock fresh food, salad stuff, tins, packets, tea, coffee, confectionery etc. They often do deals and various offers. Staff are friendly and helpful and it isn't usually too busy. However, there are times it does get busy but you don't have to wait too long to be served.
