I was on foot that day so couldn't carry very much but I had a good look round and will be back with the car sometime (there's a large free car park). It's not far from the railway station so handy for anyone wanting to do a bit of shopping before catching a train. There's a very nice fresh bread and cake aisle and a lovely range of cheeses. At the cheese counter you can ask for little pieces of cheese to be cut for a taste before you buy. The store opens from 8.00 until 10.00pm 7 days a week.

I greeted her and she said nothing. She authorised the alcohol and I thanked her. She said nothing. She walked away having not acknowledged I was a human being. Absolutely woeful customer service. I wonder if the fact I'm elderly and in my 70s had something to do with her thinking I wasn't worth being civil to?

The shelves are usually well filled, always lots of staff around to help. Sometimes the queues can get a bit big at checkouts but they usually bring more on so you don't have to wait too long. Very pleasant shopping experience.
