The tractor & trailer that ASD students use

The DMV examiner was incredibly impressed with my performance on the field test which should say a lot about this school. I was enrolled for two months as a cash student and it was worth every cent. I suggest leaving a deposit a few weeks before the following class starts so you can get the study guide for the permit tests, and then take the permit tests a few days before the class begins. This way you will get ahead because you're expected to have your permit within the first week of starting school. Once school starts you will get a 13 page packet with everything you need to know to pass the DMV field test. The packet contains all the information you need to know to pass the air brake test, in cab inspection, and pre trip inspection. Every day you will switch between practicing a driving skill for the test or practicing something in the packet. The instructors teach you all the possible backing maneuvers possible that the DMV examiner can throw at you, and the instructors teach you very good ways of making sure your offset and parallel parking come out perfectly. After a month, everything should be practice and ASD will have already found you a DMV date based on your needs. The best part about this school is that the groups are very small so you will have plenty of time with an instructor and behind the wheel. The instructors are very patient and understanding so you won't have an issue with them getting frustrated at your mistakes. They even have state licensed DMV examiners on site that are also instructors. When I was taking the field test at the DMV, ASD's truck definitely stood out among the other schools. It had the newest, cleanest, and most well maintained truck there. I also saw a lot of people from other school struggling to do their maneuvers but I was able to do mine without any issues because we practiced them so much at the school. In the end, you definitely get what you pay for and you're paying for one of the best truck driving schools in Southern California. You even get a certificate of completion when you pass the DMV field test. Thank you again to everyone who helped me be over-prepared for the DMV test!

Very good school , I searched for 3 or more months for a class A school .. Went to CRST but they couldn't get with one story .. found out they use ASD so I paid out of pocket .. I only had a small buss license and not any knowledge on trucks or trailers .. Staff is always encouraging you and helping .. I had three instructors but manly Chris and very helpful and encouraging.. thank you very much Chris I almost gave up but he kept pushing and telling me , you got this .. but the student has to put in time and study to get there permit and to learn the truck it's not handed to you .. and office people are awesome very helpful and encouraging.. thank you to everyone at ASD.. and Tiffany for the DMV apts And I can't forget the 3 Awesome guys , Chris, Christian and Jake I meet there that helped me learn about the truck and answered any of my questions ..

This is an amazing school, from start to finish. Everyone there wants to see you succeed if You're willing to put the work in. All the instructors love what they do you can tell they WANT TO BE THERE AND LOVE WHAT THEY DO!!!! Such an amazing environment if I could I would start all over and do it again that's how much I loved this school.

Learn your class A skills here with knowledgeable instructor's.

ASD is an exemplary school for gaining your Class A commercial drivers license. The staff at ASD go above, and beyond to help you get your commercial drivers license. The instructor's are friendly, and can assist you to get your permit to full on licensing. For former military you are able to use your GI Bill for tuition cost. I can proudly say ASD is the best school for commercial training I've ever attended.

HANDS DOWN, the best training/education you will recieve in your lifetime to put you in the middle class for only a few thousand dollars... Now ,my introduction to the company was through CRST as I am one of their students. My first point of contact with ADS was with Andrew who is not only the classroom supervisor but also one of the couple certified DMV examiners on-site. I will give you my brief experience with the names below if you have met someone who I have not named then, I have had limited to zero interaction with them. All in all, ADS is a solid (LEGIT) ass company so here it is... The CEO Kevin Bither is inside his office periodically and at one point I had the opportunity to snag his ear for a moment because I wanted him to know from a customers stand point what my money has purchased in my opinion. Rarely does someone get to see the CEO so I jumped on it lol... Director of Training is Charlie Di Fiore who you will randomly see at times. His candor and demeanor is great, very personable and approachable. Any questions the guys I will name below cannot answer, ask Charlie but I am more than certain the guys below will know your question. Supervisor & Instructor Andrew Bither has 10+ years of driving /teaching experience to start off with. He also has an innate ability to see through people's inability to learn and does all he can to curtail something special for you. Andrew is a no nonsense type of guy so, if your not invested in this 100%, why even come here he says. I completely agree! Instructor Phill has 10+ years of driving experience to start and a truly awesome personailty (comical & sincere) first off! Phill teaches the hands-on (driving) part of the schooling. Phill really takes his time with you and makes you feel like your not some number at the DMV because he really wants you to KNOW THE MATERIAL not just learn it. Instructor Jacob Elsdon is a totally down to earth and an awesome instructor with over 10+ years experience of driving and teaching! Jacob will speak to you on a 3rd grade level or college level if you choose to banter with him . Jacob will make sure what he is teaching you fits with your learning style. Veteran Instructor of the yard is John Grey. John has over 40+ years driving these trucks and teaching so any questions or concern with anything to do with trucking, put it to you this way, John is like Google, just ask the dang question lol... Vickie is the Executive Administrator so I will say it again, any issues the above named people cannot answer, 2nd to last stop before seeing the CEO. Yolanda works inside the office and any problems with any paperwork regarding the DMV, school she will go out of her way to help you but realize you are coming to a SCHOOL folks so, come prepared... ============================================= So if you are reading this review and are considering going to school for trucking and want your monies worth, ADS is the best hands down! The group of men & women here at ADS will make sure you pass your permit & license but you have to put in the hours of study too so don't think this is going to be a gravy train ok.... You have nothing to lose except, EVERYTHING so make the right choice and choose ADS!!!! ---Robert--- 8/31/2016

All I gotta say is good things first of all the front office are very friendly the supervisor Andrew knows his stuff including the instructors I came here for a refresher course which for me did me a world of good my main instructor was Jr. Now this guy know his stuff as well he's drove over 20 something years and is still a driver having an instructor who still drives makes you even more comfortable he has patients and great attitude towards instructing so huge shout out to Jr. And also a shout to Eric who is another awesome instructor thank you all for your help on my refresher and continuing to make our drivers for CRST better and safer two thumbs way up

We could have not asked for a better experience with West Coast Driving School and our instructor,…read moreMartin. Since my daughter is 18, she wasn't required to do the behind the wheel training but she opted to do it anyways to ensure she was 100% confident come the day of her test. We did a few Driving training days and then the 2 hours of driving on the actual test day around the DMV and used their vehicle for the driving test. My daughter had struggled to pass her permit test (failed 3 times to be exact ) so obviously she was very nervous when it came to taking her driving test. Martin trained her so well and ensured her confidence was at an all time high that she passed her driving test with flying colors and on her FIRST TRY! We absolutely recommend West Coast Driving School and although the rest of my kiddos have quite a few years ahead of them before they start driving, I will absolutely be using them for all of our driving training needs.

I have had my opinions about the way they run things here. I've tried to stay positive about them…read morebut today was the last straw. 1. Scheduling opens up once a month and you cannot schedule all lessons up front OR schedule for the following month (something that they don't disclose until you've already paid everything up front). So you're at the mercy of what's open/left over for the month or hope to catch the next open date. 2. No one answers the office line. 3. Instructors inform my daughter Sundays are open but the office gives different information. 4. I had to cancel my daughter's driving instruction because she woke up sick with a high fever, but because it's not a "48-hour" notice, I'm charged a $50 fee OR provide a doctor's note. First off, who anticipates their child being sick 48 hours ahead of time. Second, why would I drag my child out of bedrest to the doctor's? Besides that, the instructors (per my daughter) are nice. In my honest opinion, I would not recommend this company to anyone else.

My youngest daughter have been struggling with learning how to drive. My eldest daughter and I…read moretried to teach her, but we needed to bring in the professionals. I found Sarah's Driving & Traffic School online. They are conveniently located in Upland. I gave them a call to find out more information. I spoke with Sarah, the owner. Very pleasant and nice lady. She was professional, informative, and answered all my questions. Thank you Sarah! After speaking with Sarah, I was comfortable in booking 3x sessions 2 hrs per session for a total of 6 hours of driving school instructions for my daughter. Booking and payment were made easy online. The purchase is good for one year from the date of purchase. When you're ready for the 1st session, just call or text them to schedule it. They are open from Monday through Friday. Even though their business office is closed on the weekends, their driving instructors are available to teach on the weekends which is perfect for us. Driving instructor, Monica, was excellent and amazing! She was very friendly and provided clear feedback on my daughter's driving. Thank you Monica! Appointment reminders and after driving lesson follow-up were made timely. My daughter has now completed her 6 hours. She's not quite ready to take her driving test, but she feels a whole lot more confident with her driving. Thank you again Sarah and Monica for making the whole experience exceptional for my daughter and me! If you are in need of professional driving instructions, search no more. Sarah's Driving & Traffic School is for you! Highly recommend!!
