DO NOT GO TO THIS DRIVING SCHOOL! I paid $395 for three 2-hour driving lessons in December, but my last lesson was in March. I waited months for my third lesson, only for the instructor to cancel last minute and ghost me about rescheduling. Since the instructor never got back to me, I called the school to cancel the previous lesson. Yet, due to the cancellation fee (they said I had to pay even though I did not cancel in the first place), I decided to go with a different instructor. Let me say the school's method for rescheduling and confirming is ridiculous. Either you have to wait for the instructor to contact you, or you have to call them and hope they answer. Even with all this effort, there is no guarantee the lessons will happen when scheduled. The school is no help since they will blame you for not responding to ominous texts that don't match the replacement instructor and lesson. You will likely have to wait months to get the lessons you paid for, but it is no guarantee. It was getting to the point where the grief the school was putting me through was not worth it. I asked for a refund for my last lesson, but I had to talk to three people and push them to give it to me. Don't waste your time, and find another driving school. read more

Ryan Daniel Gil was our childs driving instructor. He only had contact with me through my cell phone and did not have her phone number. On the last driving session he asked her for her cell phone number and texted her from a different number than what he and I communicated on. When I called the number the voicemail was for a Fernando Vargas. Parents beware they are not using real names and are showing up in unmarked cars. Danny is a wonderful driving instructor. He taught my 16 year old son all of the important defensive driving tactics and safe habits that are critical to learn as a new driver; this also lead him to pass his driving test the first time. I was so nervous for my son's first lesson, but Danny's kind demeanor as well as his innate and true desire for the individual to pass and learn to become a safe driver is what makes him the perfect instructor. I know they are incredibly busy, and I feel bad for those that can't get a hold of anyone, but I think they are so booked (like 2 months out) and understaffed. This is hands down the best driving school your gonna find down here in riverside, they come to your house to pick you up, it's affordable, and the instructors are not only calm and collected, but also extremely helpful when it comes to your first few driving experiences. I highly recommend Icon Driving School. I called for information and quotes and they even matched the price of one of the companies. If money is an issue they let you split up the payments and to be honest it wasn't too expensive. My daughter had Christina as a driving instructor. She went over everything she needed to know and taught her the things that she needed to improve on. She would pick up my daughter at my house and she would ask what my thoughts and concerns were and asked if there was anything I felt she needed more help with. Had failed my driving test numerous times, had multiple friends and mentors help me, and I had bad test taking anxiety, but Christina helped me so much during our 3 sessions. I asked to see if I could practice in a different area than where I've been going, but the caller reassured me that I was in good hands and that despite how many times I'd failed, Christina was a very good teacher who could help me out.
