This is a great school that is worth every dollar. I really like the fact that I got the truck to myself everytime I go. You don't share your time with anyone else. It's also a great school because they work with you until you pass. I passed in 2 months, and enjoyed the comfortable environment. Willy is a great person that is really passionate about teaching you. He is a little more on the strict side, but it's to make you better. He prepares you to deal with those DMV Instructors that make one nervous. So if you can learn along side with willy, you can do it with ease when you hit the DMV. Pablo is also a great instructor. He is a person that makes the environment comfortable, and emphasizes all the good things you do. Whenever you accomplish a small victory, it will never go unnoticed with him. This kind of comforting is good for building confidence. They're both really great instructors, and I am glad I came to this school. I really learned how to maneuver a trailer, and shift properly on a manual. Don't think about, just sign up to this school. You will not regret it. Thanks again willy and Pablo. read more

I recently had the pleasure of training with Pablo at courage cdl training shool, and I couldn't be more impressed with his teaching. His approach to yard training was thorough, patient, and very hands-on. Pablo ensured I understood every maneuver and technique, taking the time to walk me through each step. He was always calm and clear with his instructions, which helped me stay focused and confident, also I had the opportunity to train with Margarito for my road lessons, and it was an excellent experience. Margarito has a wealth of knowledge and a calm demeanor, which made me feel comfortable behind the wheel from the very start. He was very attentive to detail, providing clear feedback that helped me refine my driving skills. His teaching style was both professional and encouraging, and I always felt supported throughout the road training sessions. With Margarito's help, I felt well-prepared for real-world driving. I highly recommend Margarito to anyone looking for road training. yes now I'm class A. read more

Strongly recommend. He put all his effort to make sure i i pass that driving test. Very professional on his work. With a 53' trailer and 10 speed manual tractor and the teachers patient's made it easier to reach my goals. Other CDL schools only gives a limited time with out insurance, rather you passed it or not your time is limit. Here on courage the teacher will put all his effort to make sure you do reach your daily tasks. Real good experience when he takes you out for a drive with a loaded trailer, hauling that weight to the drop off destination, gives you an idea what to expect on your future career. He will make sure you are ready before driving you to the dmv for your maneuvers and driving test. Like i said strongly recommend. Thanks Willie, God blessed you brother read more

Courage helped me go from knowing nothing about a semi truck, to giving me the COURAGE and knowledge I needed to know to properly operate one. This was my first experience operating a semi truck. After passing the written test, I went straight to this school and within 2 weeks, I was able to pass the automatic drivers test. Then, I returned to learn how to use a stick shift and within 1 month I passed my manual drivers test. The instructors Willie, Pablo and Margarito made learning to drive a semi truck easy and efficient. I want to thank them for being patient and easy going with me. I am satisfied with my experience here at Courage and I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to get their Class A drivers license. Thank you again and God bless. read more

I attended Courage CDL Training School and now have my Class A License. When Compared to most schools it's like comparing Apples to Brussel Sprouts . Courage CDL gives you : One on one maneuver training , one on one behind the wheel training , as well as unlimited training until you pass. What school, does that ? All you have to do is show up , be ready to learn , have faith , and don't give up (Courage). Pablo teaches Maneuvers as well as Inspections and knows his stuff . He is skilled , knowledgeable, and on point. Willie and Margarito teach driving skills . I did it , ask yourself , do you have the courage. It's time for you to invest in your future . What are you waiting for ? read more

For starters reasonable price not too high. They work with your schedule as well. For whatever reason if something were to come up and you called off they would be understanding. I never felt rushed , I was able to take my time and feel confident until I passed. The instructors were detailed and thorough. Pablo the instructor was great at explaining he would go over until you got it. Any questions you asked were answered. Margarito would give you knowledge over the road and would tell you the do's and dont's to prevent any accident. Overall I would recommend this school to others knowing that I was in it and was able to get my Cdl at just 19. read more

All the schools around me in Portland,OR were booked out till May (I was looking in March) and nobody offered manual, and if they did it was extremely expensive for some reason and not one on one. Called around and found Courage CDL; Willie is a very helpful and straightforward person to deal with, as is Pablo. The training is one on one, for your whole 2 hour slot. That alone should make this the first school you call. I flew down from Oregon same week to train. At the end of the day, they can't do your training for you. However, if you put in the work and listen to/do what they tell you, you will have no problem passing your test. read more
