With temperatures around 90 degrees outside, we needed someone to help as quickly as possible. I called a couple of the larger HVAC companies for emergency service, but they all told me it would be the next day before they could come out. Then I called Highlands Cooling. Cody was already on his way to an appointment in Clarksville (I live in Nashville), but he told me he'd come by afterward and guaranteed we'd have air conditioning that night. He kept me updated the entire time, arrived when he said he would, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, and got our AC running again. Just as promised, my wife, our newborn, and I had cool air that night. And did it for a very fair price! I can't thank Cody and Highlands Cooling enough for coming through when we needed them most. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and responsive HVAC service.

This past week was a cold one! Of course the furnace would breakdown. I had one company come out…read moreand tell me they couldn't work on it because they couldn't find the parts for the repair. They did suggest they had a no financing plan for a brand new unit. After some research of my own I found that Air Comfort Heating & Cooling would likely be able to find the necessary part to fix it. So I gave them a call right before I was to leave work. Christine took some information from me regarding what brand I had and quickly knew who to send out first thing the next morning. Max came over and showed me exactly what was wrong, what was needed for the repair, and had the repair made in no time. They had the exact part in stock! I will recommend this company to the rest of my neighbors who live in the same development and have the same HVAC units. I will definitely use them in the future. -Michael H.

But I don't think we've ever had someone so patient, so friendly, so completely honest, so professional and remarkably diligent as Bryan from Hoffman Brothers! We had the pleasure of making his acquaintance today. Our electrical panel required new breakers, and we needed two new outlets to be installed outdoors. We weren't imagining a national heatwave this week when we scheduled the appointment. Undaunted, Bryan worked through the heat for hours upon hours, even right through dinner, and got the job done beautifully and expertly. He was truly amazing! And we would definitely call Hoffman Brothers for any additional electrical needs. I think we would actually make a special request that they send Bryan back again.

They installed our tankless water heater and a whole-house water purification system, and both jobs went well. Then they came out for one of the two annual HVAC check-ups included in the plan. Nothing was wrong with our attic unit. It had run fine all summer, even through a week-long delay on Hoffman's end getting a tech out for the visit. When he finally came, he recommended some repairs, assured us none were critical, and left. Less than 24 hours later, we woke to a massive leak that had destroyed half an upstairs ceiling. We called and they sent out another technician. The damage was on us, he said, for not approving repairs on the spot. What the first tech said or didn't say? "He said/she said," he told us. A manager would call, he promised. Five business days later: crickets. Hoffman Brothers' website promises to protect your "property, peace of mind, and comfort." We paid for that protection every month. When a leak hit within a day of their own service call, they protected themselves instead.

I needed an emergency water heater replacement in a crawlspace and another company quoted me a massive price. Morton's came out, beat that quote by over $500, and did a fantastic job. What impressed me most was their honesty. I thought I needed some expensive electrical work (a junction box fix) based on another quote, but the Morton's tech looked at it and confirmed it was actually fine--saving me even more money. They even threw in a new quarter-turn shut-off valve at no extra cost to make things easier for me in the future.
