Every staff member I had contact with was helpful. I think it would be so hard in this industry to not become jaded, but they seem to maintain a level of genuine interest and caring that I was honestly surprised with. Dave was my therapist and was awesome. He's one of the owners, but rather than sitting back, takes a very active role in everything that goes on there, including individual therapy with clients. He was a great mix of fun, professionalism, and genuine caring. The group meetings and instruction from staff members were always very interesting, and supportive. I learned a lot and benefited from being around such empathetic people. Not quite as important, but still nice- the facilities were nice, clean, and well maintained. Being in a difficult situation, any nicety made life a little easier. In a very difficult time of life, the treatment I received here and in their outpatient program really turned things around for me. I'm very grateful to them.

If you genuinely want to get clean Alpine Recovery Lodge can make that happen for you. I remember feeling totally awful one day and they let me take the day off and just lay in bed. The activities are well planned and the meals top notch. I still think of some of the things I experienced and learned nearly a decade later. I also still talk with a few of my "classmates". It still took me a couple tries to really get sober but the lessons I learned there carried me through it more than once. They gave me the tools to understand my addiction, and the 12-step part of it showed me that I could still get help without having to spend thousands of dollars. Are they perfect? Definitely not, no one is... but they still deserve 5 stars.

It's amazing how similar some can be but so different at the same time. Hands down, this recovery center is unlike any other I've ever attended and it honestly changed my life. This place taught me and made me want to have proper and productive structure in my life. I've never been one to want to "get my s@&! together" but Alpine Recovery Lodge changed everything for me. Thank you to everybody there for opening my eyes, waking me up and helping me realize that my life is worth more than I ever thought it was.

Probably the worst treatment place I've ever been to. The therapist are constantly absent or late…read moreto the groups (except for Dean, Lauren, and Kaitlyn) and they have unqualified staff (non therapists) teaching process groups to cover for the absence of the other therapists, so they can still charge your insurance for the whole time at the price they would of the therapist was present. They are extremely unethical, they break HIPPA on the daily. They have a sober living you stay at that's a nice house I'll give them that much. But It's neglected and poorly managed. I was told on the phone when I was seeking treatment that they help you find housing, a job, and the tools to maintain long term sobriety. From my personal experience I found a job myself, which I might have just got but still have, they kicked me out while I'm sober without letting me find another treatment place because I did sneak out work my fiance and went to aa meetings all day. They micromanage your finances more than they care about your sobriety Their focus is illogical to me. I was kicked out twice for talking to my fiance. Whom is my main support and is sober with me. Of course they made us have long processing groups because of me talking about accountability for breaking the rules and holding reach other accountable for. And that's the only time they dive deep in a group. On petty shit like that for myself or my peers. Ignoring the fact that they should have a processing group for themselves for the same thing. Breaking HIPPA, lack of structure, ethics, and positive reinforcement, and support. I was kicked out another time for looking for another treatment place. I was in years because I was just trying to do what was best for myself. But I submitted which seemed to make them happy. If I were me a few months ago that probably would have a huge contribution to relapse. But I'm grateful to say I've been sober for 88 days no thanks to Papilion. If I had been at a different place in my recovery I most definitely would have relapsed. My therapist Lauren, and Kaitlyn are great therapists that should intern somewhere else, Dean does Brain painting and that was cool I had good interactions with him. He should also pursue another line of work. They had a great therapist named Matt who quit and I can empathize why. People had used in the houses and not been kicked out. They were a hindrance to my progress but I won't let that slow me down. They are supposed to be dual diagnosis but there's rarely any treatment involved in the groups you "check in" like 3-4 times a day with your thoughts and cravings numbers give feeling words and gratitude that that's literally what your insurance pays for you to do majority of the time. I will say the other clients I was in treatment with were the best set of people I've ever been to treatment with and I'm so proud of and grateful for them. If you have any other choice on somewhere to go. My suggestion would be to consider that before you pick papillon. They do not follow through with any promises they make treatment wise from what I've experienced the past 2 1/2 months I was there.

I was kicked out after they knew I was looking for another place to live outside of their sober living. This caused me to be homeless and had major effects on my stability. The groups are worthless, nothing is taught and the facilitators are not LCSW's. The Director Joe Gorton has no clue what's happening within the facility and he exaggerates the truth. Decisions are made on emotion and retaliation takes place if the facilitators down get the answers they want.
