Bait and Switch-Beware! Called for key price for Hyundai, non-chip. Price was 10. Get there price goes to 15. Ok, Honest mistake I take it as. While there, ask about programming for a keyfob for same car. Told 30 if i bring the fob. Order keyfob and bring it in one week later, same guy says 65. I say you told me 30 last week to my face, and you also told me key was 10 on phone but when i get here it was 15. He says honest mistake: I say 2 mistakes does not = honest mistake its now a pattern---2 mistakes = bait and switch!!! Top it off, go to a another locksmith in Miramar and same key I bought there is 3.75 and I have receipt to prove it. So how could it be 15.00 over there for a basic rubber key with no chip? Summary--different prices on different days and even on same day and then (within a week of each other) ---Prices appear to change as the wind blows, 15.00 dollars for a 3.75 key (2 of them) and when you add it up you get=Lie1 + Lie2 = bait and switch. The guy running the store pleads ignorance in that its an honest mistake in pricing, but somehow between the time he quotes you and the time you pay, he now knows the price quoted is wrong....I call BS!! Couldn't fix my safe where's another locksmith resolved issue inside of 8 mins to reprogram 5 digit code & had much difficulties getting jammed key out of safe . Highly disrespectful. BEWARE!! I am stuck in an awful situation and the owner does not respond. He sent an inexperienced technician to work on my safe's lock. The young man did not fix it, locked my safe, and could not get back it open again. He tried to drill it and I stopped him for it was clear he didn't know what he was doing. After multiple phone calls Joe Capuozzo (owner/manager? so I was told) answered the phone. He acknowledged the mistake and said he would contact the safe company for the information and send his "safe guy" out to fix it. After 5 days my safe is still locked and Joe does not answer repeated phone. Highly unprofessional !!!! read more

Ricardo installed a new door handle and lock on my mothers apartment. He took her keys and told her he was going to make copies. My mom had to go to the ER the next morning and the fire department team lock the door behind them and we got locked out. I called no less than five times on Sunday to get help to get back in the apartment . I had to call another locksmith to let us into the apartment which was as costly as the original lock was It is more than 24 hours later and I still have not gotten a call back from Ricardo or anyone from ASAP. They are less than reliable. I wouldn't even give one star but I have to give one because otherwise you can't leave a review. ASAP gets negative stars from me. read more

Bought a used car and it only came with one remote. So I came here to get a new car remote and they also made me a new key. Super friendly staff and Great results.
