My first time trying this place out, I needed a pair of pants hemmed with original hem. The guy tells me that's fine; $15. Not bad and asked if I can come Monday at 3pm to pick up (I dropped it off on the Saturday afternoon). I come Monday at 4pm, and he completely forgot and said can you come back tomorrow (Tuesday) I said sure I can stop by after work. I came by after work, after searching, the lady finds my pants and tells me they are done but not pressed. Can u come back tomorrow if you want it pressed? I don't have time tomorrow and already had to come back 2 days in a row... my thing is, if you know it's gonna take a while, give me the actual date you CAN get it done. Don't tell me Monday and it not be ready., and when I do pick it up the next day, you ask me to come back the next day to pick up so they can press it... disappointed but I guess that's what happens when its $15 .. :/ read more

I am so glad I found this place! I was a maid of honor at my friend's wedding and I received my dress 2 weeks before the wedding and it was too long. I called and a super friendly gentleman answered the phone and said basically if I brought it in that day they would have it early the week after. Once I got there I was greeted again by him and again super friendly. He had me put the dress on an a lady came out and started marking it. I loved that he was also giving her pointers on where to mark it. It made me feel like they really wanted to make sure I was happy where they were marking. He also gave me 2 options on price depending where the dress would be cut and I really appreciated that. I had the option of paying that same day or pick up day but I decided to pay then just incase i needed someone to pick up for me. The dress was actually done a little earlier than quoted and it was perfect! I recommend this business for customer service, quality, price and time it took to get it done. I unfortunately need to be honest and share my experience here. The alterations I had done are terrible. My brand new dress is ruined. One side is crooked and dents in by my leg. It looks like the fabric was cut off when altering. I can't even let the seam out and go elsewhere. I'm so sad as I found this dress after looking for something like this for a long time. Great dry cleaning and hemming. Not great at repairing a sweater which was burned when they tried to apply fusing to apply an over large patch. The overly expensive sweater was ruined with a large shiny square of burnt fabric. I'd wanted an embroidery over the small hole, even an iron on patch wouldn't work after the 3" square large burn mark on the front (to cover a .5" hole). read more

I dropped off a dress for alterations on Monday. My daughter had purchased this dress for me to wear on Mother's Day, which is today. I go to pick it up on the day they said it'd be ready, Friday. They couldn't find it. They tell me to come back Saturday. I go back Saturday, guy tells me the he's going to talk to the lady who does the alterations and personally deliver to me this morning. Well I still don't have my dress and I'm WAITING for his call. Yes, I can wear something else but I want the dress my daughter picked out. I've gone here many times before without any problems. Of all days for this to happen is very frustrating. I will be looking for another spot to take my future business. *Will update if dress was delivered UPDATE.. Dress was not delivered. ASAP, no. On time, nope. When I dropped off my items a man was picking up several shirts for a cruise. His items weren't ready. They said "give us a few more days" to which he answered he wouldn't be here anymore. I dropped off two dresses. Both needed minimal alterations and dry cleaning. They said the dresses would be ready in 8 days. Showed up on the 9th day, they were scrambling to find the first dress and the second wasn't even touched. They said for sure by the 10th day. Prices are okay. If you actually need your clothes done ASAP, this is not the place to drop off your stuff. read more

After shopping around to a few local cleaners, I called ASAP and was given a really fair price for dry cleaning some borrowed linens. I didn't want to pay what I could have paid to rent the tablecloths, so this was really critical. Not only did they offer a competitive price, but they were very friendly when I arrived. I was trying to mentally compute when I could come back to pick up the linens to return to my friend, since we aren't always in town... and they graciously offered to have them ready the next afternoon. No extra charge. Really great service and community spirit and I will definitely be back! By the way, the linens looked and smelled great and were beautifully pressed and hung. If you have an item you really love, think twice before having it cleaned here. I had them clean a brand new jumpsuit I wore to my brothers wedding and they destroyed it!! When it was dropped up I asked if removing a little stain was something they could handle and they assured us it would be no problem at all. When I went to pick up my jumpsuit, it had color bleeding all over it and the fabric looked like sandpaper was taken to it. It literally looked like it was 5 years old and washed in a regular washer. I am giving them two stars for refunding me the price of the dry cleaning and paying for my jumpsuit, but that was a little bit of a hassle too. read more

BEWARE!! Took my $250 YSL blazer in to have the sleeves let out 1 inch. When I got my blazer back, the sleeves were shortened by 4 inches above my wrists. I tell you this because it is a small shop, easily over-looked, and another of the best-kept secrets in Lodi. Over the years I have brought several odd items to either be cleaned or altered. I had my daughter's puffy jacket with faux fur-lined hood cleaned. When I brought it in it was FILTHY! It came back better than new. I have had zippers replaced, pants hemmed, waists taken in, buttons replaced on jeans-metal buttons-small repairs for rips and holes; once, they did a very custom job on a dress for me. It needed major alterations waist taken in, hem-line altered, and the sleeves had to be let out. The gal told me she wasn't sure, but I told her to go for it. I had no option. If it didn't turn out right-no charge. It came out better than imagined! They really do amazing alterations. I have also had down comforters and pillows cleaned, and a pair of antique kid-skin gloves! I have yet to come away dissatisfied. The best part: very, very reasonable prices, and reasonable turn-around. Of course, if you are having something special done, don't expect it to be a rush job. They are still looking for my black Michael Kors pea coat. I went to pick up and was given a tan trench style coat that was clearly not mine. I as argued with because the numbers matched my tag, yes they did match as they mis tagged my coat! They asked me to come back the next day so they can try to find my coat. This is my first time ever coming here and I'm very unhappy. My biggest concern is that someone may have picked up my coat as the tags were on the wrong items. NEVER RETURNING BACK HERE AGAIN. My younger daughter and I went this dry cleaner to get an estimate on a simple dress hemming. The lady who helped us with the estimate started writing the service order and when I asked her how much, she gave me the price and I told her I was just wanting an estimate and would look around. I returned to the business an hour later and advised the lady that we would like to in fact have the hemming done after all. The lady raised her voice, basically shouting at me and my daughter saying, "why did you come back, you couldn't find a cheaper price !?", and she went on to say in a loud voice that she is now raising the price on us for looking at other options, then she stated that she changed her mind, and would not help us at all. I told the lady that we did not look for a cheaper price, we were just deciding if we wanted it done at all. She said in a loud voice "I don't care what you did !", then turned around walked away. Me and my daughter were totally shocked at this undeserved disrespect and awful treatment. I've never been treated like this in my life by any business before. I just had my daughter take her high school graduation gown to them to have it altered because it was way way too big and too long. She was measured and they pinned it to show her how it would look hemmed and she said t was perfect. exactly how it should look. Went and picked it up today and they were really busy so she decided to try it on when she got home. Came home tried it on and it is soooo tight at the waist when she went to zip it the zipper part came off the fabric at the bottom. She finally got it zipped and the length is good and chest is good but again like I said waist is so tight the natural pleats that are suppose to be in the gown in the front are pulled completely out. plus its hard for her to walk in and Im afraid if she sits down its going to rip. Her graduation is in exactly 2 weeks and I have no idea how I'm going to find another gown for her. I'm going there first thing tomorrow morning because I'm LIVID with them. they better get her a new one and alter it to fit her in time for graduation or they are giving me my money back and then some plus I will be writing a bad review on google..here..and BBB. They were kind, but I was unhappy about their service. I took a bridesmaid dress to be altered. They did a really bad job at altering the dress. They didn't make it fit to my shape. All they did was just make it smaller for me because it was too large. The waist area was altered awkwardly, the breast area wasn't altered to fit my chest. I have a dress now that fits my waist due to it having been a larger size than what I normally wear, but it does not look good on me. I would have returned it but I was so disappointed by their job, I didn't want them to mess the dress up even more. I picked it up the day before the wedding hoping it would be ready by then, so I don't have time to take it to be altered any where else. Also, they initially lost my dress. They said the ticket number had fallen off my dress so they had no way of knowing which one my dress was. They were going to give me a dress that was completely no where near looking like what my dress looked like. I actually picked out my dress, I spotted it in the back. They brought it to me and I told them that was my dress. They initially didn't want to give it to me because they said since the dress had no ticket number they could not hand t to me. I got really upset, I thought to myself then how in the world do they keep track of the clothing AND hand it to the right owner. I told them I was 100% certain that the dress they brought to me was MY dress. Again they said they couldn't give it to me and they asked me to text the bride to make sure that was my dress. They were insisting the bride text me back ASAP to make sure. I was made that they questioned my judgement AND I was mad that they were asking me to bother my friend to send her a picture of my dress when I knew in fact it was MINE. They saw how upset I was that they told me to just take the dress. I wonder what would have happened if they gave me the dress and it indeed was not mine. No wonder some of the reviews say that they've had their clothing items lost. It's probably because they've accidentally given it away to people it doesn't belong to because they don't properly track their alterations. I wouldn't trust them to alter or work on an item of Clothing that I really love or really need. read more

I am giving it 1 star because the dry cleaning itself was not bad. Everything came out ok....BUT the owner is not what you would expect from a business owner. First he quoted me a price then when I called to see if my items were ready I was told a different price so I asked to speak with the owner and he was very rude and talked loud to me. I asked him "your the owner and you think it's ok to treat your customers like this" and he said yes and was very abrupt. I told him I have been going there for a while but I won't go back because of him and he said so what just come get your stuff. VERY VERY bad customer service. First and last time ever coming here! Took my pants in on Thursday to get it altered, was told it'll be ready Saturday since they couldn't do it for the next day. Couldn't make it in over the weekend to pick it up so I went in on Monday to pick it up. After going through the racks and rummaging through the back he comes back and says sorry can you come back tomorrow? Uh no! My order was supposed to be ready Saturday and yet it's no where to be found! He took down my number and said he'll call me as soon as he finds it, I informed him in not from Lodi and it'll be a hassle to coming back since I'm leaving out of town the next morning and need them for the trip!
