For the most part the food is delicious and it has a beautiful aesthetic but I did not like the service I received from my waitress called Victoria. I went with my friends because we had heard they have delicious food and they were right. During the first 30 minutes of talking with friends we decided that we wanted to order. I ordered some Chilaquiles and my friend got Enchilada, at the beginning our waitress was being nice but little by little it seemed like she was getting more annoyed of us. For example, we wanted to order more things and she would give us dirty looks and would even sigh like if she was waiting for us to stop talking. She would also just stare at us with annoyance and it honestly ruined our mood. Again the food was delicious but I would appreciate if they would have a talk with her about costumer service. I would definitely go again but if I were to get serviced by her I would probably leave and come a different day. read more

I was driving around for a good minute till I stumbled upon los corrales let me just say they did not disappoint! I ordered the chilaquiles corrales with a corn fried tamal and that thing smaaaacked‼ haven't had chilaquiles that good in a minute no disrespect to my mom. I asked the server why they took so long and she couldn't give me a proper answer. These guys were the winner of the tamale tasting at the Indigo festival today. We really liked the extra spice in the masa. The size was perfect and they were just perfect. Thank you. Si uno como cliente no le gusta algo, por el simple echo de ser el que paga tiene el derecho de regresarlo si no tiene sabor la comida , o no está cocinado bien. Great food. Although sometimes it depends on who's cooking when you go. The girl working the front is nice and friendly. 100% the best place to go if you typically don't eat meat. They are very accommodating if you want to add or exclude ingredients from your order. I've had the issue with other places where I order something without meat and it does not taste good (like with some places you can tell the sole focus is only meat and any non-meat foods are not good without it). Mexican food can be on the salty side, so be sure to speak up if you are watching your sodium intake. The ambiance at Los Corrales is average, but the place is clean and spacious. If you go at a busy time (like the weekend), it may take a while to get your food. A few things make it worth the wait: 1. While you wait to order, the server will bring not only the usual chips, but something special: a caddy with two different salsas, an avocado dip, fresh sliced cucumber and radish, and limes. And it's FREE. With a full-sugar chilled Mexican Coca-Cola in a bottle, a Mexican beer, or an authentic Mexican beverage like horchata, you'll be in a good mood! 2. The menu is varied and easy to read, with lots of pictures of their northern Mexican specialties like flautas, sincronzadas, vampiros and mulitas. I placed an order for two cheese chicken quesadillas and to my surprise it was a big disappointment. I had eaten here before and the food is great...until now! Embarking on a search for something other than corporate chain garbage near the Coachella Fest, me and my fellow adventurer randomly scoped out this little Mexican joint in the back corner of a shopping center. Inside is broad, simple and spacious. Seat yourself and peruse the photo menu for specialties like chorizo eggs, tacos and tamales. I went with the carne tacos which ended up being quite filling so three was actually two too many. Or perhaps I filled up so fast because I couldn't help but order a $1.25 tamal de puerco on the side. Both were delish. The complimentary chips and selection of dips were a nice touch and the service was friendly but low key. Dear Angelina Corrales, I need to express my frustration since I was disrespected by your waitress Denisse. I ordered a quesadilla mixta with camarón. I read their quesadilla menu two times once in English and one in Spanish. I see the come with cabbage in English and repollo in Spanish; sounds delicious. I get my shrimp quesadilla and I take a bite and spit it out because I hate lettuce. I remembered reading the menu both English and Spanish to reassure that I was gettin repollo. I call the waitress and older lady she was nice she apologized and took the plate to the back as if it was going to be fixed. But 4 minutes later a young waitress with a bad temper walked back with the quesadilla saying that if I wanted to eat the quesadilla I would have to eat it with lettuce and she can add cabbage on the side, I told her I don't eat lettuce. She responded they did not make a mistake because their menu says shrimp and chicken quesadillas come with lettuce not cabbage and then she walked away after I said I didn't want it. I felt very uncomfortable because I felt like she wanted to force their mistake down my throat. I asked for a menu, I double checked and their quesadillas don't come with lettuce says repollo in Spanish and cabbage in English. I asked a different waitress to find in the menu were they had their shrimp quesadilla and show me it came with lettuce, she could not find it. She offered to bring a manager who never came out. After I payed my order I reminded the Denise I wanted to talk to a manager; she said she would check she back and said come tomorrow talk to Angelina Corrales she will be here. I won't give it zero stars because I have ate here before, but I was very disappointed today. We waited over 50 mins for tacos and still didn't get our food. My husband paid for our drinks and we left. They claimed the order was being worked on and would be ready shortly. People that came in after us were getting their food first. Very disappointed. Tasty chilaquiles. Salsas are decent. Service was prompt and good. They have agua de cebada (barley water) which is not common everywhere.

Service was good, but a little upset because while we were waiting for our food which took 20 mins(no problem there it was alot) i asked for chips and was told because we got it to go we couldnt get any. Omgosh when I heard this place had uchepos (corn tamales) I was ecstatic. They were so delicious. I was sad that they didn't offer crema with it. Normally i use joqoque. The one in Coachella doesn't have same level of service as the one in La Quinta. It's also more run down and the parking is more difficult. That being said, the food is amazing. My go to plate is the "Taco Gobernador" which is a shrimp taco. I wish they had fountain sodas, but they only have sodas in the bottle. I come here every other week for work, and it's the highlight of my day LOL. read more
