I had 19 (nineteen) calls with them - a total waste of time. For maybe 7 years and 10 times I have told them that they got my address wrong however they better waste time arguing than solve the problem. I pay 448.01 dollars monthly for this lousy service.

Three techs have come out and nothing has ever been fixed. The first tech actually rested and tied the line across small trees (see photos), and now it's sagging through the woods and still sitting on the ground beneath a fallen tree. The second tech was "completely shocked" that it had been left this way, but didn't resolve it, and the third tech never contacted me at all. The older male employee I spoke with on Saturday in the store wasn't completely dismissive, but it felt rude and unhelpful for him to tell me this setup was "acceptable," especially since my follow-up research shows it absolutely isn't. He said he would try to help, but also told me the only way to get it taken care of was for the homeowner whose house the line is connected to to call it in themselves. I later learned that both she and the neighbor in between us have been calling all year with no results. He gave me a phone number to try, but it's geared toward active customers, and if you're not one, it's nearly impossible to reach a person. After a year of attempts from multiple neighbors (and many hours spent on the phone with Optimum) the line is still on the ground and nothing has been done.

Of course normally their service takes a hit at night when everyone is actually using the service from home, to which if you call you find out "we have no technicians till 8am". You have no network admin on duty? Seriously? As I said, when it works, it is fast. When it doesn't due to their hardware constantly taking hits from southern electrical storms, poor configuration/redundancy, or just a port needing reset... you have to wait till someone is in, make it through their multiple layers of 'have you turned it off and on again' phone monitors, and then hope... HOPE... they believe that your 25+ years as an IT professional opinion might mean something. I cannot say I'd recommend them, however there are so few options out there you'll end up here anyway... just preaching to the choir like the rest of us.

Dear Spectrum Customer Service,…read more I have been a Spectrum customer for many years, using mobile, internet, and now TV service. Unfortunately, I have never experienced so many problems with customer service as I have recently with my TV service. The main issues are: * Lack of transparency and continuity: Each time I call in, there's no proper documentation or review of previous notes. I have to re-explain the entire situation, and nothing is followed through. * Misleading information: I was told by a technician on Sunday that the problem was a node issue. However, since then, no one has reached out, and I've received no updates or confirmation that the problem is being addressed. When I call back, I'm simply told to open another ticket instead of seeing actual progress. * Poor accountability: The service issues remain unresolved, yet Spectrum continues to collect payment without delivering the reliability or integrity expected. This is not how customer service should work. I would strongly caution others to think twice before choosing Spectrum, as customers deserve honesty, consistency, and solutions--not empty promises and repeated runarounds. I expect a clear response on how and when my service issue will be resolved. Sincerely, Blaine Sheckler

The so called executive office that called me even said they do not fix tire ruts in yards......like idiot your lost employee parked in my yard , damaged it and I wasn't even the one that was getting the service and now you won't fix it. A one hour wait is not uncommon, an a call back from an unknown number that you won't recognize in an age when you don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Beyond dumb. First off, I am not Adam. I scanned the business card he gave me and attached it to the review…read more Have you ever had the experience of trying to deal with a home network problem by going through your ISP, and, the vendor of whatever other networking equipment you are using? Each of them says that things look good on their end, and you need to contact the "other guy". How about trying to do that on the phone? You live in an area with poor cell signal, and the only way you can have a conversation is to utilize "wifi calling", except - you DON'T HAVE WIFI, so the call is breaking up and you can barely understand each other. The chance of getting a technician from your ISP to pay you a visit is about as likely as winning the lottery. I did a search on Yelp and Adam was the first - got another response from one other vendor who said they couldn't help me - to respond. He said he could come the next day, and it turns out he is located only 15 minutes from my house. I had done some remediation before his arrival and found out that my problem was not due to equipment, but a configuration decision that I had made that gradually disrupted my network (No, the customer is NOT always right). Adam explained everything that had happened, tweaked some settings, and made some suggestions about how I could optimize my setup. He is very knowledgeable about many networking, communication, and security issues. This will lead me to work with him in the future to improve the quality of our cell signal and do some rewiring to improve the performance of our home network. He also has expertise in other areas - it turns out he used to work for the company that services the entry gates into our community and is also extremely well-versed in network security issues. His hourly rate is entirely reasonable, IMHO. Finally, he is a REALLY nice guy. I can't recommend him highly enough.
