The A's, have a great baseball program. My son has been a part of their program for some time now. He has learned so much that his confidence is such, he wants to be on a diamond playing or doing drills almost every day. The instruction he has received from his direct coaching staff and continues to get from Brian Blumsack and Dan Wilson in private lessons is amazing. All the other A's coaches he's been exposed to are second to none! They have helped my son who had a great deal of baseball athleticism and some good baseball skills, to master those skills and develop other skills to become a well-rounded baseball player. The A's Baseball Center is not one of those facilities where you have fifty children/teens going at once and you may or may not get coached that day. It's also not one of those programs were they put players on teams, with no intention of playing them, just to pay their bills. It's one thing to know the game of baseball, as the A's do, and it's another to be able to impart that baseball wisdom in a positive, nurturing way, where the child responds and gets better. The Blumsack's have such a program with the A's. The best part for me is that they are not only interested in a child's athletic ability and their baseball intelligence, but more importantly, they wanted to know who my child is. In other words, they took the time to know my son. Their goal is getting him ready to play the game of baseball and in doing so, through the game of baseball, life. My sons have been attending the A's Baseball Center in Woburn for over a year now. Last winter my boys got ready for their Little League season hitting in the well lit cages. My oldest son enjoyed going to the center so much he asked if he could try out for one of the A's AAU teams. He made the team and has been attending practices 2x per week since October and is eagerly looking forward to the upcoming A's season. Brian & Scott Blumsack have been a pleasure to deal with. Along with their staff, they offer specialized training & instruction in a friendly manner. The practices are structured to maximize the allotted time and the informative, quick pace keeps the younger ballplayers engaged throughout. Personally, I have played & coached baseball for over 30 years and I am learning from the A's each time I attend their center. It is our first year with the A's and we couldn't be happier. We diligently researched and looked at many AAU programs in the area and we felt this would be the best place for our 10 year old son to play. The coaches are fantastic!!! Our son had a negative experience this past year in summer ball and the A's have erased all of the negativity and replaced it with confidence and excitement. He is proud to represent the A's and as his parents we are proud of him too. The facilities are nice and well maintained and the atmosphere is positive. Our son's team mates are not only great ball players but awesome kids too! Scott & Brian have been amazing. They understand what is important when playing ball and in life. This season will be our Sons 2nd year playing on the A's travel team. He would not even consider playing for another program! The program not only strengthens their game but strengthens their personalities and really brings the boys together as a team. Our son takes full advantage of all that the program offers (strength training, hitting clinics and more) so he is at the facility at least 4 times a week and he would not want to be anywhere else. Brian and Scott are EXTREMLY easy to work with and they both are in tune with all the kids needs. The best part of the program is picking up after practice and watching all of the team walking out laughing and messing around with each other! We are very happy with the entire program. The help he has received from the A's program has not only help his confidence, but also helped in the college search process. Best AAU program I could find. Played with the A's 2 years ago, then took a year off to concentrate on town ball...was very happy with the program and then rejoined with their Woburn program. We travel all the way from Grafton to play in the program and it's worth it. Very good coaching and instruction...very professional...and they know how to treat the kids with respect. We started at A's Baseball Center in April,2014 with a few private lessons for my son, it did not take long to realize we had found a new home for our training needs. Brian and Scott and other staff members Dan,Matt, Spencer have a great approach to the way they train it is kept light and fun. The improvement is not only to my sons game but also to his confidence. I am very proud to see my son's go through the A's program. From all of the politics I have seen in baseball I wish I found the team sooner. Brian, Scott and their staff know the game of baseball. My sons and my nephew love baseball. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to play baseball at the AAU level. They are always available to answer your questions and e-mails. They go out of their way to work with you if you have an issue. They are wonderful with the kids and the parents. My kid has been playing for the A's for the past two years. You couldn't ask for two better guys then Scott and Brian. They have great coaches and instructors.
