I encourage everyone to stay HOME until this place opens up. We drove over an hour and more than 60% of the store are CLOSED! Truly, I venture to say 70%! For the stores that are opened, you have to wait in line to get in.... even when the store is truly empty, o.e. FOEVER 21, Champs, Puma.... Nike is closed, Model's is going out of business, Polo has a lined wrapped around the store, Children's Place is closed, H&M is closed. Never mind eating at Chevy's which is usually a to-go-to! It's Arundel Mills. Tons of stores. Very friendly employees. This mall even has a Bass Pro which is awesome. There are a ton of stores inside the mall. The food court is awesome with a wide variety of choices. The mall is usually spotless. It looks like they have dedicated cleaning people cleaning. Also there's not a ton of trash blowing in the parking lots like some malls. They have a police substation here which is good for security. They have security officers on the inside on foot and on Segways like Paul Blart in "Mall Cop" lol. They also have multiple security cars going around the lot. As well as county police with ALPR " automatic license plate recognition" readers which is good for finding stolen cars and people with warrants. So it keeps the negative stuff away from the true shoppers. The only downfall is since the casino came to town which is right next door. The parking lot is usually always crowded. But you can still find a space. The general crowd here is all nationalities and all ages. Mostly middle class though. All in all a very good mall. read more

I mean, it's a mall. It's large, so it has that going for it. Kind of a mall/outlet mall combo really, with some regular chains and some outlet chains. But it also has a lot of other things that bring people to the mall: Dave & Busters, Medieval Times, a movie theater, and more. So take your normal mall, and then make it more crowded. I do not love a mall. I did my mall time in my teenage years, and now I'd just assume avoid them. But sometimes you need a mall. This weekend, I needed to shop for more work clothes, so I wanted to go to a mall where I could shop at a few different stores and outlet stores. I did find a few things, but as soon as I did I was out! I wouldn't say shopping here was pleasant, but it did get the job done. Hopefully, I won't have to return for a while. read more

I am overwhelmed every time I come here. If you wanna get in-and-out this is not the place to go, however..... That being said if you are looking to truly shop this is definitely a mecca for the area and plenty of stores. The thing that is for me particularly stressful is they have I believe for neighborhoods which are 4 sections of them all I think they did that did try to be less confusing but it just seems to be a huge overwhelming place and I can never get my bearings. There are so many options of retail stores that are on outlet prices and there are several food places to stop at while walking through. Hey also have a movie theater, casino and medieval times connected. Something for everyone. The parking can be a crazy depending on the time but honestly there is space all over. I am one that likes to get as many steps in that I can per day so I normally park as far out so I have to walk, so I don't really have a problem. If you don't like to walk it can be a bit of a struggle to find a parking spot close at times. One thing that can be a bother is the bathrooms. There has been times it need some love and I was a bit shocked because I do see cleaning people around so hopefully they can get that together. A mall is a mall, until you have been to Arundel Mills. A dying breed, indoor mall, built in the year 2000, featuring five neighborhoods with over 200 stores, 24 screen Cinemark Egyptian movie theater, Medieval Times, and now has Live! Casino & Hotel. That is the tip of the iceberg. I have been here several times, and on my most recent visit, we walked over 2 miles and found a few great deals. The Coach store was having 70% off, and Levi store had clearance extra 40% off, Mike found 3 pairs of jeans for like $12 each, what a find. We had a great lunch in the newly renovated food court, we chose Charleys Philly Steaks because we were starving and we were keeping it super casual. There are many dining options, including Cheesecake Factory, Johnny Rockets, Buffalo Wild Wings, to name a few. Parking can be a challenge, because of the magnitude of the mall itself, there isn't much that can be done about it. You can, however, park at the casino deck and start your mall excursion at the food court, which is directly across from Live. Overall, I really enjoy coming here, it makes for a nice day trip, it's entertaining, and with so much to do, it's a unique mall experience. read more

I'm really feeling this mall lately! I love that while I can buy stuff at a big discount...I also get a great workout. I never leave without at least 5-7k steps on my Fitbit! Hit me up for Fitbit challenges! They have everything from Puma which is my new workout gear of choice to Coach bags for men which I can't buy fast enough! I've eaten at a few restaurants and fast foodie type places in my last three visits. Some include The Cheesecake Factory which is actually inside of the live casino directly adjacent to the mall. Mrs Smith's cookies which were nothing special and lastly auntie Anne's for the win! I'm look forward to checking out the Medieval Times restaurant this summer with a large group of guys and the Egyptian themed movie theatre which is larger than life. read more

Some friends and I were in the area and came to check out this mall. There were 6 of us, three went to the casino and the other three shopped. We all met back together to eat lunch in the food court section. I didn't shop, I was one of the gamblers, lol. I did see a variety of department stores and outlet stores in this mall. I read reviews that parking was crazy but we took uber since we were staying at a nearby hotel. My friends who shopped said they got some good deals which make sense since it was right after Christmas when we visited. The next time I'm in town I will take more time out to retail shop, lol read more

Definitely a hot spot for Christmas shopping, please make time and have tons of patience when coming here. They offer such a wide variety of shops than its very difficult to say you can't find the perfect give for this times, from 5 below to coach and books. I am not the biggest fan of Arundel Mills Mall as it is always super busy and doesn't have the best crowds. There is a ton of crime in the area and I believe there may have been a shooting or discharging not long ago. The crowds of unruly juveniles are overwhelming. I only go here when I need something specific and there is nowhere else to get it. For example, I tend to visit the Old Navy to get jeans as there is not another one closer to me. read more

This is a pretty good mall with several stores I like to shop and it's clean. The mall only has one floor but it's big and has plenty high and lower end brand name clothing, shoes, handbags, makeup and jewelry. There's also a furniture store. I do noticed that this is an outlet so prices listed and advertised at the windows as marked downs. The food court also has several good options of fast food eateries from Chinese, hibachi, Moes, Popeyes, salads. There's also entertainment at this mall such as their movie theater, Dave & Buster's, etc. There's a casino nearby which unfortunately I was able to visit with the kids but perhaps next time when I'm there with adults only. Parking is not an issue considering that I can here on a Sunday and there are plenty of spaces to park. read more

If you've been to one Mills mall, you've been to nearly all the Mills malls. It's a very large shopping mall, all indoors, with a few of the big anchor stores at the ends or in the middle. Lots of the big name stores and a number of the smaller ones. This one in Hanover is an easy shop because the shopping is all in a large circle so you can start in one spot and walk around, not missing anything. The hallways are large and there's plenty of room to walk the very smooth floor. A few spots are up or down a little and they have ramps and stairs. Well ventilated, well lit, easy shopping. I recently visited Arundel Mills a few times, once during the day and once again at night. The mall is pretty big and has a lot of great store options. It's definitely a workout to walk around the entire mall but between all of the department and name-brand stores, you can certainly spend a lot of time shopping around. The last time I visited, the food court was closed off and only a few options were available but they've recently opened the area and more dining options. If you ever visit and are in need of a snack, I would recommend stopping by Gong Cha bc they have amazing Bubble Tea! Also important to note, if you head to the mall during peak hours, it can get very crowded and there are zero social distancing measures whilst walking through the mall at that point. I've visited on a random weekday during the afternoon before and would highly recommend stopping by early, if possible. It definitely enhances your shopping experience to have the space to look around, since the mall is nicely sized. When I visited around 6PM on a weekend, whilst waiting on reservations at the Yardhouse inside, there were a lot of people who were either waiting for a table at one of the many dine-in options or walking around the mall until the stores close. Some stores close earlier than others. I will definitely be stopping by Arundel Mills again whenever I'm in town and in need of a nice shopping spree! read more

I was staying at LIVE! and had a day to fill with nothing to do. I decided to walk through out Arundel Mills. The mall is huge. The stores are mostly more casual everyday stores. While there is a Kate Spade and Michael Kors, there were definitely very few high end, luxury stores. On top of stores, the mall also has a Medieval Times, Dave and Busters and movie theater. There is definitely a lot to do. Overall, it was a fun mall to spend some time in. I didn't find all that much in the stores but there was a lot to see. read more

Arundel Mills - Backpack - Shopping Centers Near Me - Hanover, Maryland

As a kid, I thought this place was the coolest. I literally have a photo of me in front of the theater posing a la 2002. Speak to me nicely and I may show you LOL. Outside of MD Live and the theater, I really haven't been to the mall proper in awhile and it was way less magical than I remember it being. Not sure if it is because I just got older and larger or because malls aren't as novelty as they used to be. Despite that, Arundel Mills has all the stores I'd normally hit, so I appreciate that it has kept up with the times. With that being said, my absolute favorite store in the mall - and maybe the world - has withstood the test of time and Amazon Kindles: Books A Million! Seriously, this is why I loved Arundel Mills then and why I love it now. I could, and have, spent hours in the Books A Million. They offer a great selection of books and games. Books I knew for a fact a store wouldn't carry, they had. Kudos to a classic. read more

This mall is nice, relatively large, and easy to navigate. There's a wide variety of interesting stores and sit down restaurants, and I love the layout of the food court. There are a decent amount of places to sit as you walk around the mall, which is great for parents with aching feet or for my husband when he doesn't want to follow me around Forever 21 100 times. read more

As a youth, I was an avid patron of J Crew. I recalled once I was in college, J Crew had a MASSIVE sample sale @ the Bmore Convention Center. When I tell you I DESTROYED that sale and was in the red for months, believe it. Every purchase however, was well worth it. I still have some pieces to this day (and that was the mid 90s). Then a J Crew store came to the Inner Harbor - awesome but the store was obviously geared towards women. Then they moved to Harbor East. Good location. Now let's get to the point of this write up. The J Crew @ Arundel Mills reminds me of the fun times I once had shopping in the mid-prep wonderland. Today, I even saw critter chinos. J Crew is the 1st place I got my Critter Chinos (still have them to this day - at least 10 yrs old). While this store has a great layout, I can no longer fit the J Crew profile (too much beer, I guess... ah well) but my friend just got these awesome cranberry chinos (reg. $98) for $9!!!! Whaaaaat?!?! I was the best shopping/styling guru today. I helped him find some amazing deals. That said, they are having a 40-80% sale right now. If J Crew is your speed, get down there and scour... Given the proximity to Washington DC and the number of military people I wish there was better security. Roaming Mall Cops on Segways will not cut the mustard if there's a real threat. read more

Well this mall is a bundle of fun, especially during the holiday season. Conveniently located right off of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, this massive mall has had an ever-increasing amount to offer over the years. It is sectioned off into five "neighborhoods" to make it easier to know where you need to go if you're looking or a specific store. The food court has quite the variety, including but not limited to a burger joint, salad joint, crepe joint, and smoothie joint. Other restaurants are placed in other neighborhoods of the mall and right outside of it, so don't feel like you're obligated to go to the food court. Food aside, there is plenty of shopping that can be done. If you are just exploring the mall and don't have a specific store in mind, you can easily spend hours there. Even when you step outside, there is a Walmart and adjacent Costco to do even more shopping. There is currently a sign up at the movie theater saying that they will be getting luxury recliner seats soon. That is definitely something to look forward to, but I hope that doesn't mean that the tickets will be more expensive than they already are! Expert advice: Be wary of the weekends. The parking lot is massive. MASSIVE. But somehow, it completely fills up on weekends and you're going to have to keep a close eye on customers walking to their cars. This is one of the better outlets outside of the DC area. The bathrooms are amazingly pretty clean (for the amount of people that use them) and I love love love how the layout of the outlet is in a circle! That means if you start in neighborhood 5...you end up in neighborhood 5, instead of walking all the way backwards! I love how there is a Dave and busters, medieval times, and a movie theater. Like everyone says, if you check into four square you get a free coupon book! Which I used about three coupons (ann taylor, loft, and Kenneth cole), its def worth the 3$ if you dont' want to check in. Be sure to read the fine print though. The shops that i shop at are Ann Taylor (really good selections (petite!)), Loft (Petite section), Banana Republic (Petite section)...i just love stores with petite sections! I've been to this mall pre-casino and post casino multiple times. Pre-casino the mall was decent-restaurant options, nice theaters, good options of store, etc. Now, it's a nightmare to get around that area. Parking is a headache. Driving anywhere near there is a chore. Way too many people and lots and lots of tourist clogging up the mall. I feel like the prices in the store are higher because of the added casino. If I have to go to the mall, it's for something very specific that I can be in and out. The positives is the restaurant options are still good. We like to go to the LEGO store, Disney, or book store. If I want to go to a mall to browse around, I'm driving a little further to Annapolis or even Columbia mall. read more

This mall has become quite the zoo! Overrun on most days-humans everywhere! Of course it means $$ for the retail stores here, but it means uncomfortable shopping experience for me. I loved it when it opened 20 years ago. Before then, there was really nothing in this area (hubby grew up around here). It's an Outlet mall, so most of the stores are labeled "Factory" with different merch than the full priced counterparts. There are plenty of stores to choose from, plus a number of restaurants both within and just surrounding the mall. Skip the crowded overpriced food court. The very large movie theater will be a nice place again to go when COVID leaves us. Highlights are Guess Factory, Polo, Bass Pro ( if you like outdoors), Nike Outlet, Off Broadway Shoes. Dave&Busters is a nightmare if you're skittish about crowds, noise, and germs. Medieval Times has been popular for years. And of course there is the Live Casino and hotel adjacent to this mall. read more

I really love this outlet mall. I'm going to break it down and make this as simple as possible. Pros: Lots of shopping options, everything from Lane Bryant to Kids Foot Locker. High end shopping options, Neiman's and Marcus, Saks 5th (outlet stores), etc. Best Buy is on the premises as well. Overall great prices. Huge food court with great dine in options especially with the Maryland Live Casino right outside the food court. One stop for the entire family! There is a Medieval Times, Dave and Busters, Egyptian XD Movie Theater. You really can't go wrong with this outlet mall. The mall has added a lot more stores since I moved here in 2011 Such as RL Polo Factory Store, Kate Spade, Windor, Steve Madden and Ulta Beauty. Cons: Weekend crowds can be overwhelming! Parking can be hectic therefore it's best to utilize the Casino's parking garage. Lastly the mall is HUGE! Wear your walking shoes or you will regret it. I give this mall only 3 stars because I feel that it has gone downhill throughout the years. Also, don't get me started on the parking, it's absolutely ridiculous and I avoid coming here at all cost during prime time hours. The parking is a mad house, although the new casino garage has created more spaces it's still a hassle finding parking. I'd say that's my least favorite thing. Love/hate. It's usually crowded and parking is AWFUL but I love the reclining chairs at the Egyptian Cinemark. I also wish that the mall was two level so that you wouldn't have to walk SO FAR to get from store to store, but it does have everything. Heard of this mall before and for my first time visiting, I was quite amazed! They have a lot of store options and the stores themselves are pretty big. Definitely a one stop shop type of mall. I love how everything is divided into neighborhoods and they have touchscreen mall directories. With how big the mall is, it would be great for them to have a few more installed though. Their food court is also pretty impressive, which is the connecting area for the short walk to get access to the casino/hotel. In good mall fashion of leisurely walking around and enjoying the day, the mall seems to be a circle so you'll get back to the entrance in due time. This mall is OK. The only thing we tend to go for is the Bass Pro Outdoor Store. The Talbots is an Outlet and carries a lower quality of clothing than their regular stores. BTW almost any outlet store is selling a lower quality of product than their main store. Most of the stuff is bought for the outlet and not transferred from a regular store. As an example you might get a shirt with two rows of stitching at a regular store and one at the outlet - looks the same, different shirt. The only real 'outlet' I'm aware of is Nordstrom Rack which sells stuff from their main stores - change of seasons, odd sizes, low inventory, and such. read more

This mall used to be better. The last time I was here it seemed they were renovating and many stores were closed or out of business. I'm not sure what's going on but I haven't felt inclined to spend an afternoon here in some time which is likely for the best, anyhow.
