We ordered a small frozen beverage machine, the wedding was only for 15 people. The staff delivered a HUGE machine which was placed at the entry of the reception, once it was there and they left we discovered it was the wrong one, we could not use it or even move it out of the way resulting in no signature drinks that we were prepared to serve. We called of course and they said they would pick it up with the rest of the rentals the next day. Now for the part that bothers me the most, the huge eyesore was in so many of our photos due to its location at the entry, the courtyard was small so it wasn't hard to find it in the photos. They did not charge us for their mistake, however after all the planning and envisioning the evening this is still the thing I regret. If I worked for Verve I would have wondered why a party of 15 would need a drink machine for 200 but that's just my logical thinking, prior to this, if we changed one tiny thing on the contract it had to be redone so I'm not sure how this happened.

They helped explain how to use things (cotton candy machine, popcorn machine, AV system, ect). And they were very efficient in tear down afterwards. Everything worked without a hitch! I spent about four hours choosing music for the wedding in their portal and don't feel like any of it was really played, including my special request songs. With the 10 hours of music that I chose, it could easily have filled up the entire reception. My main qualm is that I chose the song "where the hell is my husband" for our grand entrance and it began playing in the middle of the song. The beginning is the most important part & that was underwhelming / awkward. Good lighting though and a decent price as far as I know! The DJ was friendly as well.

What more could a person planning a wedding want? They have an online portal system which made it very easy to let the DJ know what you would like him to do/say/play on your wedding. The DJ assigned to my wedding was DJ Fred and he was awesome!! On the day of my wedding, he did everything as we discussed- played all of the correct songs, didn't mess up names... the best part though was how he 'vibed' with my wedding guests and played what he thought people wanted to dance to (I told him to 'vibe' it) which was SPOT ON. I had seen the story about him (Tyler) on CBS Sunday Morning. I got VIP tickets for the Thursday evening show. I was having a problem with my tooth and decided I needed to see a dentist on Thursday. Got a 2pm appt and found out my wisdom tooth was infected and needed to be pulled. I told the dentist we had tickets for a show at 5pm. He said he'd get me out in 15 minutes. So, off we went to see Tyler with my swollen face and cotton stuffed in my mouth. Getting the chance to chat with Tyler and hear his story was absolutely inspiring. He performed in an old barn on a historic ranch. When he performs and opens the barn doors behind him the view of the incredible red rocks just take your breath away and listening to Tyler play just takes you to another place. We loved the show so much that we got tickets for his Saturday evening Celtic show which is at an intimate dance studio. Tyler was so sweet and asked how my tooth was doing. These shows were the highlight of our vacation. Tyler, you are so incredibly gifted and your music truly touched us. Getting the opportunity to chat with you meant so much to us, also. When visiting Sedona, get tickets to see Fiddler on the Rock. You'll be glad you did!!
