It's my favorite kind of store, featuring handcrafted wares. They're of high quality and are imaginative. There were earrings made of pieces of vinyl records combined w/ sterling silver and others made of pieces of the record labels. There were necklaces of dichroic glass, handmade notebooks of denim and leather and very fine ceramic pieces. There were very cool puppets. My favorites were a couple of cats clothed in sumptuous robes. There were gorgeous painted silk scarves. And that's just what I can remember admiring. One of the artists was staffing the shop and she was friendly and welcoming w/o being the least high pressure. The shop was a welcome contrast to all the touristy shops selling souvenirs that surrounded it. It's close to the port so when cruise ships are in town it's readily available, although I suspect most cruisers are heading for the souvenir shops. Too bad.

Happened upon this sweet shop while exploring Limoilou with my great host Olivia C. It's a mix of…read moreexcellent vintage and cool stuff from local designers. The staff were very friendly: digging out an unpriced, untested vintage portable record player for me to try and when it worked giving me a totally fair price on it. I got it home and am totally thrilled with the find. I also heard from the nearby brewpub Barberie that they love this shop and had worked with them to design their t-shirts. Quebec City has some truly heart-warming examples of local business collaboration and this is an awesome one, go say hi!

Now, trying to reach customer service is a real pain. Then if you do reach them ( easiest by phone) they still demand you go to their website to fill out a complaint form with mandatory photo request to prove you're telling the truth about your defective item. Still waiting for them to send me my return label soI can return the damn things, BUT, they have yet to email me that. They refuse to pay return postage for their mistake! My advice?
