Amazing work! I have dealt with MANY contractors and these guys will absolutely be invited back if they would like of course :). Amazing work patching, drywall and matching our current wall textures. They were very communicative, nice, clean and professional. Reasonably priced as well. Hard to find good trades people these days. Happy to have met Travis and Rich. read more

Travis and his team did a phenomenal wall fixing our drywalls. We had an extensive leak starting from the second floor. He matched the texture of our ceiling perfectly. He also did a great job with the bathroom and gym. His prices were fair and he was very responsive. It was raining during the repair but he was able to complete everything with no issues. We have had friends and family look at his work and they could not tell we had such a big leak. We had shopped several companies and he also had the best bid. 5+ stars. read more

Travis and his all-star team came highly recommended from another contractor. I needed to replace about 225 square feet of damaged drywall from a drain pipe leak. Travis is an excellent communicator and I was able to get a quote and coordinate the repair work over a combination of email, text messages, and phone calls. He provided a detailed breakdown of the required work and a very reasonable price quote. He was also very flexible and accommodating with the scheduling. His team was very respectful of the property and finished in only 2 days. They did a great job cleaning up. The end results speak for themselves. It is fantastic quality workmanship, particularly in matching the existing drywall texture and seamlessly blending in the seams and joints. I was so happy with the drywall work that I requested his team help with the painting afterwards too. Travis emailed me the invoices after the work was completed and payment was super easy since he accepted Zelle. read more

We had a smaller project to patch a few holes from when we did some electrical work. Travis was responsive and he was able to schedule us quickly. They arrived on time and did a thorough job that blended in seamlessly with the existing texture. Priced on par with some of the other quotes we got but we decided to go with him because he mentioned a few details in the scope of work that made us trust that he wasn't going to cut corners and do just a fast job. Nice, honest guy! read more

I had a drywall job done so badly that when I went to paint, the mud started peeling right off. I called Travis, and he immediately understood what was done wrong. His team was able to fix the whole job in less than two days, and saved me a ton of stress. They were also very courteous, and extremely clean. read more

We had just purchased a house and wanted to retexture all of the interior walls before moving in. Many other companies I called had to turn down the work because the job was too big. But when Travis came out he had no problem with the scope of the project and told me he takes plenty of larger jobs. Once work started Israel and his team worked with me to make sure they were applying the proper skip trowel variation that we wanted. They were very patient as we kept tweaking the pattern. And after we came to the right texture they went full speed and knocked out the project within our strict deadline. These guys are professional all the way through the process and delivered quality workmanship. read more

This was the 2nd time, in 5 years, that we used Artisan for our drywall and painting needs. Travis, the Owner/Contractor, and Mike are the Best-of-the-Best from ALL aspects, to include, but not limited to: workmanship, courtesy, friendliness, very competitive/reasonable pricing. They epitomize the word Professionalism. We would recommend them without reservation. Most Appreciative Clients, Dr. Reid Jilek read more

Travis never returned my call or email. 4 days later at 8pm on a Sunday night he text me and said "probably" tomorrow. It's been 3 days since then and I still have not heard from him. Just another flaky, unprofessional contractor. He has good reviews though. Not sure why. Travis was referred to me by a friend of his who gave me a bid then decided he didn't want to do the job. The other contractor said to call him as he was a good buddy who would do amazing work. After attempting to contact Travis will no luck his "buddy" the original contractor who bid then retracted emailed Travis to remind him to call me. He did not return my call or email even after a reminder from his friend. Very poor communication skills. Can't understand 5 star ratings. read more

I highly recommend. Travis Kelly did an amazing job We were in a bind because someone we already had lined up to do the work didn't show. I searched online and I called Travis last night at 10 pm and he felt bad for us and showed up at 6:30 this morning. Just goes to show you how he cares about his customers. His work is excellent. If you need any services done I definitely would call this company. I don't write reviews much but he went far and beyond to help us and I want to return the favor. read more

I called Travis at Artisan Drywall for a quote on repairing several drywall holes caused by plumbers who fixed a leak in our condo. Travis quickly provided a quote via email and was at our residence the next morning to start the repairs. He and his partner met me at the time they said they would be there. Travis and his partner quickly got to work and laid down plastic floor liner to protect our flooring as well as keep any debris from the repairs from being tracked through our home. The work they completed was excellent. Repairing drywall is part artwork and they did a fantastic job! Couldn't be more pleased with the completed work. Thanks Artisan Drywall! read more

Travis and his partner did an excellent job repairing multiple holes (24) due to the running of electrical wiring for the installation of ceiling fans. They were so clean and quiet and completed the job within the time range we'd agreed upon. I will definitely be calling them for any other repairs we need. read more

Travis and his crew were responsive, fast and did an incredible job repairing over 24 holes in our ceiling and walls due to new wiring and recessed lighting. They were particularly careful to capture all dust by draping extensively; after they left, it was almost impossible to tell they had been there. We were nervous having to match ceiling texture in so many places in highly visible areas - their work was nearly perfect. I quoted out numerous vendors and not only were they highly rated (even by their peers), they were priced competitively! All in all ... they are a win and we'd use them and recommend them highly. read more

Travis came highly recommended by another drywall contractor, as our project was a bit larger than what the other contractor normally does. We are so glad that we found him! Travis was a pleasure to work with and also very flexible and accommodating to our home renovation that required involvement of several different contractors. His rates are very competitive and his work product is exceptional. Highly recommend. read more

Travis was referred to me by another drywall contractor. I hired him to do a job on my grandmothers house in La Jolla. I like to start early so I told him to be there at 7am sharp. He and his partner were there promptly. Off to a good start. He had about 10 big holes to patch and paint. The result? I couldn't have been more satisfied with his work. He is truly a master craftsman. I couldn't even point out where any of the holes had been. In addition he installed some extra shelving for my us and a couple other things that my grandmother wanted done. On top of that his bid and time estimate came back exactly as he had originally quoted me. The price was very fair and I could not be more happy with the job he did for us. I highly recommend Travis for any Drywall work you need done. He is very professional and also a really nice guy. read more

Artisan textures is the best, hands down. I am an Electrical contractor and make holes to run wire on a regular basis. I hire Artisan for every patch because they make it look as if I had never been ther in the first place. Travis is great to work with and I have recommended him to many of my clients for large drywall jobs, textures and little patches. No need to look any further Travis and his crew are the best. read more

Travis is as good as it gets. Artisan has great customer service, and is easy to work with. Travis Kelly, the owner of Artisan Textures, is the man. Plain and simple. If you need drywall work done, he's the guy to call. He's professional, on time, his quotes are very competitive, and he's a really nice guy (I enjoyed chatting with him). The context... During the demo phase of our kitchen remodel I found mold behind the baseboards which ran the length of the wall. After abating the mold, I needed to hire a professional to replace and resurface (plaster) the drywall. It's a fairly large wall so I got a couple of bids. Travis' quote was by far the best and he came with many online accolades (Google his company's name) so I decided to go with him. He did a fantastic job and finished on time. A couple of days later I found another drywall problem behind the sink area (mold again). I identified the problem at 10 PM on Monday night. The cabinets were to be installed Wednesday morning so really, I needed to demo, replace, and resurface the drywall on Tuesday. Since I have zero drywall experience I contacted Travis Monday night. He got back to me in minutes and said he would be by the next day after his morning job. Since I was in a time crunch I wasn't too concerned about cost, I just wanted to fix the problem so my kitchen install didn't get behind schedule. Travis showed up the next day on time, fixed the problem, and best of all he did it for great price! I would have been ok paying a premium for the service since it was so last minute. Instead I got great service at a great price. read more

Travis did a great job with my drywall in my kitchen remodel. He was prompt with a quote and did a thorough walk-through with me prior to make sure he understood exactly what needed to be done. He was careful to explain each step of the process and his team worked really hard to get things done on time. I would say he has great communication with his customers, corresponding via email and text evenings and on weekends. His bid was also significantly lower than others when I priced out this job. Overall very satisfied and will be calling him again for any future drywall needs. read more

Travis did an awesome job repairing the drywall from a water leak and matched the texture perfectly! The spot was in a pretty hard area to work in but he was able to make it work and did it quickly as well. I plan on calling him for future drywall repairs. read more

Thanks for repairing the previous contractors mess of a wall. Quick good service. Thomas

Our job included 2 walls of master bedroom, closet, dressing area and bathroom with new drywall, smooth finish, bullnose corners and 9ft ceilings. Not a small job, so requiring different folks to do the hanging, taping and finishing. Schedule wise we did pretty well and Travis was there almost daily to ensure that this was a quality project. I have no problem recommending Artisan for your project. read more

Travis did a great job! His work was very clean and professional. I would recommend him to anyone who needs textured wall work done. He even went to Home Depot to get a matching paint and when he got back, applied the paint, it dried he realized it wasn't quite a match, he went all the way back to Home Depot to have the paint corrected and he re-painted it. His prices are very reasonable too. Thanks Travis! read more

I was working on a project with a very tight time frame and we needed someone to come in and add texture to a wall and bullnose a column on very short notice. Artisan Textures and Drywall were available on short notice, completed on time, and charged a reasonable amount. I will certainly call them again if I need any drywall work done. read more

To quote Travis, "Nothing is impossible in construction." This can-do attitude is what I love about Artisan. No job is too big or too small for them, and they always do it with a smile. Part of my job is doing tenant improvements for our building, and I use the Artisan crew all the time. Everyone here agrees they are highly professional and very friendly. Keep up the good work! read more

I used Travis and his crew over a year ago, when I had another small job, I immediately called him to fix my second problem. Again, it was a relatively small job. The job was done to perfection and matches the other texture so you wouldn't ever know there was a patch! I again would recommend him to anyone needing drywall work in the San Diego area! Thanks, Travis! read more

Travis was referred by another drywall professional we initially contacted. I am so glad he made this referral. He was on time, professional, efficient and did a job that surpassed our expectations. I had a leak from a copper pipe coming from my water heater. The leak left considerable damage to my drywall and after drying everything out I was referred to Travis. Travis and his partner came out and promptly got to work. Because of the location of the hole and the shelving I believe it must have been a difficult repair. Travis got the job done perfectly. After the repair they cleaned up and made it look look like the leak never happened. The agreed upon price was more than fair and the work provided was great. I strongly recommend Travis and his crew for all your drywall needs. read more

I had an old brick wall that I wanted to cover with drywall. Travis was very responsive to emails, and he quickly answered some questions and provided an estimate for the work. The wait time for this job was about 7 days. Travis ran a little late on the day of the job, but he warned me first, so I didn't mind. He and his partner showed up shortly thereafter, promptly took some measurements, hung plastic to keep debris contained, and then left to get supplies. Once they got back with the supplies, they quickly went to work. It took them less time to complete the project than I expected, and it looked great. They also didn't make a lot of noise, nor mess, which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Artisan Textures and Drywall to my friends. read more

Travis and Mike were fantastic. Communication was easy, they showed up on time and were super clean and professional. I had a ton of patch work to do, they were fast and the final result is great.
