Rob and crew did a meticulous job in my garage. Problem: My neighbor's (30-year-old) kid likes to "hotbox" in his garage, and we have a shared environment at the ceiling. All of my belongings therefore smell like putrified skunkbutt. Solution: Rob and his team did a very thorough job drywalling all the way up to the ceiling, and sealed all edges very carefully. I threw a coat of odor-repelling shellac on everything (and a layer of vintage Star Wars wallpaper for good measure), and now the "go-getters" can smoke themselves silly without ruining my $300 motorcycle helmets and other garaged items. We had a very bad repair done to our condo ceiling last year. I called Dunn Drywall and Rob came out to give us an estimate and look at the badly repaired ceiling. Unfortunately, Dunn Drywall was not allowed by the HOA to repair the badly repaired drywall. He was very honest about the bad repair. This past month our water heater leaked and caused damage to the closet where the water heater was stored and our bedroom closet wall. I called Dunn Drywall and sent pictures of the damaged areas to be repaired. I received an estimate right away and Rob came out within a week to repair our drywall. So let's face it, drywall isn't pretty to look at but you appreciate it once your walls are painted or tiled!! Not knowing what to expect in our house after we had countertops and backsplash removed, Dunn Drywall gave us an estimated range depending on the damage. It ended up being the lower end. He did a fantastic and professional job because the tile guy had no issues putting up new backsplash and the hole in the ceiling is sealed nicely with no visible seams. Very responsive when I called for an estimate, and were able to come measure within the week. I had a number of areas in my house that needed just patches from some electrical work we had done. I had received a quote from another firm for $1,500 for 3 days, Dunn came in at $900 for 2 days. I did NOT end up using them as another resource became available that was more of a fit, but would have if this new option did not become available. He asked for my address and phone number and said he can have someone come out that Friday for a quote. The earliest he said he can come out was in 3 weeks and asked if I was willing to wait. IMO, if you want something done right the first time, you have to be willing to wait... Two guys plus Robert showed up 5/22 at 0700Monday morning. They were very professional and did an absolute thorough job. The wall texture in my home was not the typical texture. Spanish style home with a trowler type texture. The guys were there everyday until 1500. Cleaned up after they were done working and said goodbye. Robert called us during the week to inform us of some changes with his staff, and how we would need to extend the work to 1-2 days which was A-OK with us. The first time to patch up and texture after the demo, and then we ended up changing the layout in a few rooms so we needed a few half walls and a bathroom wall built and texture blended to match the rest of the house.
