The nurse was so exceptional at explaining everything to me and showing me the various tools they use ahead of time. The doctor is the first dentist who has never hurt me with a needle- I barely felt anything if at all. I think a bee sting would feel worse, or a splinter. I have had paper cuts hurt worse. That stunned me. The procedure on a back molar was efficient and very systematic, for what it was-- I really did not need to worry as much as I did; it is just like a filling. The Dr was also good about letting me know what he was about to do, and what step of the process he was in. I appreciated seeing the work on the x ray afterwards and hearing that, even with a crack in my back lower molar, the process turned out perfectly. I would return if I ever needed another root canal, they are no big deal. You can tell you are in competent hands. Thank you York Endodontics.

Although I was not the patient, what she shared with me and the condition I witnessed her in afterward were extremely upsetting. According to my friend, she repeatedly expressed that the local anesthesia was not working and that she could still feel significant pain. Despite her concerns, the dentist continued with the procedure. What I found particularly disturbing was that the nursing staff had instructed her to raise her hand if she experienced pain, yet when she did, she told me the dentist physically pushed her hand down and criticized her for acting like a child because she couldn't remain still. She also described experiencing unprofessional communication from this same dentist during her initial consultation. When I picked her up, she was in tears, visibly distressed, and in significant pain. It was heartbreaking to see her in that condition. No patient should ever feel belittled or ignored for expressing discomfort, especially during a procedure where they are fully conscious. The apparent lack of compassion, communication, and intervention from the assisting staff is deeply concerning. Based on what my friend shared and what I personally witnessed afterward, I would not consider seeking dental care at this practice myself, nor would I feel comfortable recommending it to others. Patients deserve to feel safe, heard, and respected, and I sincerely hope this practice takes these concerns seriously. I recognize that other reviews on this page reflect positive experiences, and I understand that everyone has difficult days. However, what my friend described goes far beyond simply having a bad day. There is a difference between experiencing personal frustrations and allowing them to affect how you treat someone who is vulnerable and relying on you for care. Professionalism, pattience, and compassion should never be compromised, regardless of what someone may be dealing with personally. If you cannot separate your personal struggles from your responsibility to treat patients with dignity and respect, then perhaps you should reconsider whether you are suited to providing patient care. What happened, in my opinion, was completely unacceptable

After breaking a bridge that was in place on the upper left side of my mouth for 30 years, I was very afraid. I had to find a new dentist because my old dentist had retired and I no longer had dental insurance. So I called around and priced several dentists in the area and I am sorry to say I use price and cleanliness as my determining factors. I am so happy that I did! The staff is fantastic and the offices are are clean. Dr. Chris is a master of the partial, making them fit comfortably, securely, beautifully and what a great personality. Of all the dental offices I've been to, I would say this has been one of the clearest when it comes to communication. They take the time to explain what they're seeing, what they recommend, and why. Dr. K is very knowledgeable, and I especially appreciate that I have never felt like he is quick to recommend dental work simply for the sake of doing it. I genuinely feel that his recommendations are made with my dental health and best interest in mind. Overall, I have felt cared for, listened to, and comfortable as a patient.
