Musicians play in a big, comfortable space decorated with very interesting art, antiques and seemingly random objects that make you smile. You can read, write, work on your own crafting projects or simply watch the musicians. There are tables and chairs by the big windows where you can spread out, and comfortable seats facing the musicians. There were delicious scones (sweet or savory), fresh coffee drinks and a self-service tea station. You can drop in at any time, and payment is all on the honor/donation system, with no concrete pricing posted. It's a surreal space where you can really relax and get creative! It looks like they have several recurring monthly events and host art exhibits & musical performancee, all listed on their website.

Oh and Peggy has been featured at the Smithsonian 5 times. 5 TIMES! She's wonderful but so are all the other instructors I have met. And have I mentioned the community here is super inviting? Like the only place in town that repairs utilitarian glass work. There are several "glass blowers"…read morein the area but only one (that I could find) who will repair or attempt to repair damaged or broken glass, pyrex pieces. A recent mishap with a friend, using a very expensive piece of glass of mine, left me shaking my head and wondering how in the hell I was gonna get this thing fixed... after a few phone calls to other shops in the area and a call to a friend who is a glass blower / the one recommended over and again was Jason at Glass House. I called to see about getting a quote for the repair, and the gentleman who answered said yes they could most likely fix it and to bring it by. I took my glass project in that afternoon and just as quoted earlier dropped my broken piece off with them for said repair. The price quoted was cheap by comparison to replacement. They are busy and it takes a few weeks to get your project back but I am in line and hope to have my repaired fixture back in a few weeks and will update with a final evaluation of the repair. 4 Stars - the only repair game in town 00718

We came across John's Glass Blowing shop in Eureka while researching the surrounding towns. I gave John a call and asked if he was able to give my 2 older nieces a fun experience with glass blowing. (My husband and I were able to visit a glass blowing shop while visiting the Oregon coast in the town of Lincoln City. It was such a fun time and great memory for us.) John said, "Absolutely, come on by, we'd love to have them." He proceeded to make an appointment and fit us in his schedule. It was fantastic. We met John, who was so friendly and welcoming. My nieces were able to work with Matt, John's very experienced work partner. My nieces had a great time learning and participating with Matt's close guidance. My daughter and I also decided to join in on action too. We all came away with some beautiful glass pieces that we will appreciate for years to come. Matt was really kind and great at explaining different parts of the process. Definitely visit John's work studio and shop... His glass art pieces are whimsical and inspiring. They almost seem alive. His unique sculptures reminded me of so many creatures I've encountered while snorkeling in the Pacific Ocean. I've seen quite a bit of glass art, but John's technique, imagination, and color combinations were surprising and delightful. John's place was a wonderful highlight during our visit and we would definitely return in the future.

She is incredibly patient, kind, and professional. She has helped my daughter learn everything to make her sewing dreams come true. As I write this review, she is hard at work in the next room on her sewing machine, making clothes for her doll. She is able to find a pattern, cut out her fabric, wind the bobbin, and follow all the steps to bring her ideas into reality. I am so impressed with how far she has come under Rebecca's guidance. Here is what my daughter has to say, "Rebecca is a great teacher! She helps me understand each step. Whenever I get stuck, she helps me. Friday is my favorite day of the week because I get to go to sewing class!"

The strawberries were bursting with flavor and the whipped cream appeared to be homemade. They included a lovely bouquet of roses with a vase we got to take home. The host was kind and attentive.
