I met Artie & Mike under unfortunate circumstances, after having been in an accident that totaled my beloved 2023 KIA Sportage Hybrid. Artie could tell that I was a complete newbie at this type of situation - having never had a prior accident - & his incredible professional & learned guidance put me fully at ease. From the very beginning, Artie & Mike helped me through the entire process by explaining exactly what to do regarding the insurance companies involved, the book values for my totaled car, & what figures to expect from my insurance company on a total loss basis. They also took great care to get everything that belonged to me out of my car & returned them to me, including my vanity plates & all of my weather guard mats. All-in-all, I can't recommend Artie's Collision enough, just as they were recommended to me by my local trusted car mechanic of many, many years. I used ARTIE'S COLLISION NORTH, at 272 New York Avenue in Huntington, but they also have two other locations on LI. So, if ever you find yourself in the unfortunate & unfamiliar predicament of being in a car accident - & are in need of a phenomenal, trusted, & honest Collision Shop - do yourself a huge favor & call Artie's Collision. I couldn't have gotten through my ordeal without them! Thank you Artie, from the bottom of my heart. read more

Artie's Collision is one of the best shops I have been to. After my accident, which resulted in a total loss, Artie's Collision not only towed my car to their shop, but made sure I was taken care of. Mike, specifically, made me feel like one of his own daughters- that I was safe, and everything with my car would be taken care of. I was also educated on the insurance process regarding the tow and housing of the vehicle. In the end, I knew my car was being handled with care and by the best professionals. Thank you so much, Artie's for making one of the worst moments not as bad. An accident is always bad, but not as bad when you have the support from Arites. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars, unprofessional, uneducated. They treat people very rudeness specially if you have an accent and you are a woman. I would never in a million time recommended this place to anyone. Stay far away from this place!!!! read more

Artie's Collision made the difficult experience following my car accident almost painless. I could not recommend them more highly. As I was on the phone on the side of the road trying to arrange a rental car through my insurance company, the driver asked if he could help and called the rental company directly to arrange to have a vehicle meet me back at his shop after the tow. They coordinated everything with ease with my insurance company and had my vehicle back to me in mint condition even earlier than the adjusters estimate. I hope you never need their service, but if you do, you wont regret it. read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!!! I had two written quotes for work that needed to be done. Both quotes were under $2000 and they were the 3rd shop I went to. While they quoted me about the same price, under $2k, my fault is I did not get a written quote as I di dwith the first two. I went with Arties for just a bit more than the other two more simply because they said they would do a few other things that need to be done for the same price. Well I found out that put the claim in for over $4,000! While again everyone was under $2,000 and that is what they quoted me.... Now because its in NYS and over $2k, it goes on my record. My rate are now going up for 3 years. With one kid in college and one on the way, this hurts. I wish I had read the 3 other reviews that said stay away...... I will never make this mistake again....my advise, go to a shop that is approved by your insurance company. Trying to save a few bucks ended up costing my thousands!!!! Again-just do not go here!!!! read more

These guys are awesome! Towed my 15 year old car from xpresswsy, treated it like it was a Mercedes, secured it and guided me through the insurance paperwork maze! BEWARE! Do NOT bring you car here unless you want to be scammed. I brought my car in for repairs at the Island Park location and was given a price. After the job was "done," they requested MORE money than what was agreed and to be paid in cash only! Not even a few days later, I'm driving and I see smoke coming out of my car. I have called many times and have yet to speak to someone. They do NOT return your calls. This is a scam and I urge everyone not to bring their business here. This is a RIPOFF. They request more and more money for a job POORLY done. GO ELSEWHERE. read more

Thank you for the fabulous job you and your employees did in returning my Camry to its original condition. It looks fabulous, and drives wonderfully. Thank you also for taking the time to e-mail me while we were away, and for your persistence, dedication and professionalism in dealing with the other party's insurance company. A final thank you for having a wonderful manager, Mike, who, I'm sure, enjoyed the chase in getting what had to be gotten from the other party's insurance company. I am grateful for all your collective craftsmanship, and for being located in Huntington. Richard G read more

These people only knows to get money from insurance companies for them only. They kept my vehicle 20 days in their garage after the accident. They claimed so much money from insurance company for that. Insurance company paid full for them and charged half of the money from me. Be careful before you leave your vehicle with them. read more
