I wanted to post an updated review and share how much we love Dr Jain. We moved to Gilroy 5.5 years ago and my children are now 14, 12, 9 (almost 10) & 6 (almost 7). I had called the clinic past midnight to leave a voicemail hoping that they will follow up on the morning. But to my surprise the doctor picked up the phone herself and offered her advice and I followed up in the morning with her office. My daughter came a few weeks early and was a little weak. We have been going to Dr Jain for our daughter from when she was born. Dr Jain has provided us with excellent care. During every visit she takes her time with the patient to ensure that all the questions are answered. For sick visits we usually are able to get an appointment the same day or next day or at least an e visit appointment. She prescribes medicines only when required. Her staff are very friendly and patient. She genuinely cares for her patients and is always available to answer any questions. We are grateful to have found her for our child. We relocated and had to say goodbye to our longstanding pediatrician, Dr. Jain. We have received exceptional care from Dr. Jain and her staff. She helped us transition into parenthood and oversaw all the health concerns, however big or small we had with our first child. I especially appreciated Dr. Jain personally answering our after-hours calls, late night messages, follow-up calls, and video visits. For patients, this is a huge perk of going with a private practice provider. We feel torn about changing to a major health institution, but we needed to find a provider in our local area where private practice MDs are hard to come by. read more

Dr Jain is our pediatrician and we couldn't be more happy with her. She's very accommodating with appointments and time. When there's any urgent question, she answers calls at any time of the night and she's willing to see us over weekends on a video call if we have any concerns. She is very responsive and guides correctly. I am happy to choose her as my kid's pediatrician. I really liked the food guidance that she recommended for my kid. The office staff is also good at following up and talking when we visit there. In Covid time, they are having good precautions/e-visits, etc which is really helping. Weeks after visiting Dr. Jain for vaccinations, my daughter starts being scared again and again out of the blue because, as she says "It feels like we are again at that place to do shots". Needless to say, she never had that traumatic experience with any other doctor. On top of it, Dr. Jain were insisting on blood tests that my daughter didn't need, attempting to "motivate" us by saying that otherwise she might need to do x-ray. Again, goes without saying, she didn't need either. Just as a glimpse of what appointment looked like: right during our visit nurse brought her a tray with big syringes, and Dr. Jain started opening and checking these big needles in front of 5 year old kid, saying "Don't worry, it is not for you", which, of course, made her even more petrified in the process. Spare nervous system of your child and find another professional. read more

My kids and I loved Dr. Jain! We went to her for about 3 years before switching doctors. Dr. Jain was always available for us (even though wait times were sometimes long) including one day when the office was closed, but there were concerns with my newborn. She always listened to my concerns and I felt she was always VERY thorough and cautious. We ended up finding a different pediatrician after having my fourth baby and waiting an hour and a half for her newborn visit because there was a mix up and other patients were seen first. I'm including additional information below about things we loved and things we didn't that resulted in us changing pediatricians. Pros: cares so much about my kids, responsive to messages (she has called me directly on numerous occasions), and thorough when concerned about issues. Najwa is phenomenal too, but seems to have taken more of a role in office work than patient work. Cons: must have different email addresses for each child for the patient portal (with four kids this was ridiculous, but with one or two kids it's not a big deal), small office space, dangling cords on curtains right next to exam table, staff was changing frequently and seemed to add to the stress in the office, and new staff often had unrealistic expectations of my kids (stand still, not touch things, stay focused for long periods of time). Ultimately the cons outweighed the pros for us, but I still feel Dr. Jain is a great pediatrician and would recommend her. read more

Worst staff and pediatrician ever. The office is small and dirty, and because she herds patients in like cattle, perpetually overcrowded. If you like waiting up to 2 hours to be seen with an appointment, this is the doctor for you!!! As mentioned, Dr Jain crams in as many patients as possible, so your true appointment time is always over an hour after the booked appointment time. Not once in over 6 visits has my child ever been seen within 30 minutes of the appointment time. The staff hate eachother and are always bickering/giving each other attitude due to being overwhelmed with patients. Most of the staff is nice, but overwhelmed and clearly stressed, and there are 2 nurses that are rude af. Dr Jain herself is cold, rude, condescending - all qualities in a physician that I can and have overlooked in the past due to the physician excelling in other qualities... Unfortunately, other qualities do not exist in this case. After all the waiting you will do to see this lady, she spends a total of 5-8 minutes with you. Our last two visits, she spent 6 minutes with us. She never has any idea why you're in, even if it was written down by the nurse on the chart that she has in her hands.... Seriously?!?! She openly admits that she doesn't follow up with any specialists that your child is seeing. read more

I don't know how to describe my level of frustration after my first pediatrician visit. It was our first visit at the 4'th week.My wife had like around 7-8 questions, (more than usual ) as a first-time parent. she was in there like 15 minutes, first 5 minutes figuring out some technical issues with the computer. 10 Minutes that's it. She was so rude, and she discouraged more questions, which I have never seen with any physicians. My wife felt so terrible, she could not get answers to most of her concerns and she asked us to email the questions. First thing, I came out of the office, I checked for a pediatrician in PAMF and I luckily got one. and now we could have 30 - 40 Minutes with pediatrician and questions are addressed. Please don't go with the Yelp rating. please don't assume it to be best to have desi pediatricians because you are a desi. Do your homework. I learned in a hard way. read more

Dr.Jain has been our pediatrician for the last 2.5 years and has been caring for our toddler and our newborn. Dr.Jain is available over weekends and late nights sometimes during emergencies; she is very thorough and has her front foot forward to catch issues. She is however quite busy because she is trying to answer everyone's questions and give best care - so sometimes we do have to wait to see her. I could not have more professional, empathetic and knowledgeable Pediatrician for kids. We have been coming here for ages and each time we go back with more than we initially sought out. She takes her time to be thorough and really makes you feel important instead of rushing you through. She is one reason I'd wanna have more kids!! We are very happy with Dr. Jain, she is easily the best pediatrician around. Dr. Jain always makes time for a sick kid, whether it has been after 6pm on a Friday via phone or hold Saturday evening appointments in her office. She gives full freedom to ask all types of questions. We have also utilized the patient-ally app to send her questions and her responses have been prompt. Dr. Arti Jain is very nice, knowledgeable and polite. She goes above and beyond for your kid to get well soon. My son had flu last year and we requested her to get him admitted to the hospital ASAP as we wanted our son to get well soon under a doctor's observation. For this she even cancelled her next patient's appointment and was talking back and forth with the hospital for my son. Second time, on a weekend my son had severe cold n cough. So, dr Arti opened her office on her off day and did check up for my son. Whenever I call office, if its non business hour, dr Arti will attend the call. Update: It's been 3 years now and we are glad we chose Dr.Jain as our son's pediatrician. Whenever I need her advice/suggestion, I leave a message and she always gets back ASAP. As a mother, just speaking to her was a huge relief in many instances as she clears all my doubts and provides references when needed. Same day appointments when sick, proper care and concern, reverting messages, responding to calls, providing referrals - this is what I expected from a pediatrician and she has done it all, not once but many times. I agree you can experience wait times but I cannot complain because I think of some other kid who would have got same day appointment owing to sickness. Overall, we are happy with Arti Pediatrics. We had an emergency (not life threatening), just tried calling Dr. Arti in the middle of the night around 10pm. She picked up, answered our questions patiently. She was also in the middle of answering another call Doctors also have their own life to manage but I really appreciated the timely help. She is very practical about things and is very knowledgeable (it shows). She is busy attending a lot of patients so we try to prepare all our questions beforehand and keep the list as short as possible. 4 years and still on with trusting Dr Arti for everything for my twins. My twins were born in Stanford at 7months and needed extra care when we were looking for a pediatrician. Dr. Arti came as highly recommended from one of my frn. Once Stanford did all case transfer to Dr Arti, she has been on top of everything that was needed to make sure that my kids are healthy and strong in all aspects. We have seen Dr Jain for both our sons for almost 3 years now. She was working at 2 other clinics before starting her own practice recently and we have followed her. :-) The thing I like the most about her is that she, being an Indian, understands the Indian lifestyle and food habits. So, we feel that we are seeing someone who understands us and that makes us parents very comfortable specially in illnesses like cold and cough. Dr Arti Jain is the pediatrician for my daughter who is currently 1 yr old and I cannot think of a time (from the day 1 till today) we didn't reach out to her for help. We being the first time parents are always scared for the well being of our baby and Dr Jain has always been there and available to help. We have called the doctor even at the oddest hours and can say that there has never been an instance where we didn't get help from the doctor or ever our call was unattended. We even ask the most silliest questions on portal and we get the answer either the same day or the very next day so we do not have to always schedule a doctor visit.
