She has consistently been available via phone or the patient portal, and her after-hours support is incredibly comforting and genuinely makes you feel like family. On one occasion, when our daughter was very sick, Dr. Jain supported us through an online call at 2 a.m., which brought us immense comfort during a very stressful time. Even during regular consultations, she takes the time to answer all of our questions, and we have never felt rushed. I have been living in the United States for over 10 years and have never encountered such a dedicated doctor anywhere. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional care she provides to our daughter.

However, we usually felt rushed during our visits and had to go though our list of questions very fast so she "can get to her next patient"! She never gave our son stickers or other fun stuff either. But I was ok with all of that as I could ask her some questions on the app and my son was still too young to be bothered by lack of personal connection to his doctor. However, her behavior during our 2.5 year old checkup visit was unacceptable. My son had a chronic cough, he has been getting sick from daycare at least once a month in the past 6 months, always with the same exact symptoms of congestion and a cough. Dr Ghaffari herself had seen him over video visits multiple times and had assured us the cough is due to congestion and nothing to worry about. Despite that, we have always tested him for COVID (poor baby ), and of course it was always negative. Our checkup appointment was at 8:45am and I realized my son's cough had got a little bit worse when he woke up that morning. But it was nothing close to a concern for me as I had seen worse colds at least 6-7 times before. So I decided to still take him to his appointment. We got there 3 min late (at 8:48am). The front desk did check us in and my son coughed right there. I asked the lady what to do as he doesn't accept wearing a mask (because come on you can't expect a 2 year old to always cooperate). She just said I can cover his mouth when he coughs. So we went on to the doctor. As she started chatting, my son made another cough. This was the moment she became a completely different person! She rushed out of the office and came back with a gown, a face shield, goggles, a different mask, etc. Then she started talking to me in a very disrespectful and condescending manner, saying why we were there when my son is coughing and not wearing a mask, etc. I was in utter shock. She said "I'm gonna examine him, but we will talk more on the phone". I felt so disrespected I didn't even want to be there another minute, so I told her "you don't need to examine him, I'm gonna take him home and we'll make another appointment". I dressed him up and left. Later on that day, she sent a message trying to explain her behavior based on their protocols, etc, but it was all excuses and no apology as she even tried to attribute her behavior to us being late "on several occasions"! I just couldn't take it anymore. I've been dealing with her rushing us every time and I've been ok waiting for her to come to the room, but now she was offended that we we were 3 min late (when her front desk wasn't)? How come the patient's time is not important to her, but her own time is so valuable? That day I realized she's rude, entitled, and can be very unprofessional. As a working mom, I always understand if people are 5-10 min late. And under no circumstances I allow myself to speak this disrespectfully. As for my son, of course his COVID test came back negative this time too. I found another pediatrician for him who turned out to be pretty good and not rushing us and respectful as well.

She's amazing and takes a lot of time to explain things to us. Really great with kids and has a lot…read moreof patience.

He is also a very funny doctor, always making us feel so welcome and at home. He doesn't hold back and will address any concerns without hesitation. As first-time parents, everything is new to us, and we were definitely anxious about doing anything wrong for our son. Dr. Truong answers all of our questions in a way that's easy to understand, and he genuinely cares about what's best for our family. This review is for Children's Neurology…read more My daughter has had migraines for about 5 or 6 years. She was assigned Dr. M. If I say the name yelp will remove the review. During covid my daughter had video visits or a phone call. Over the years trying to get a neurology appointment here is damn near impossible. You have to schedule literally a year ahead of time. They need to hire more doctors, it's pathetic. My daughter was on rizatriptqn 10mg. I asked if she could have the one that dissolves under the tongue because thats what I take and it hits quicker because it is absorbed under the tongue. He didn't want to do that. At school when she took the 10mg it would make her throw up every time so school would send her home every single time. The clinic tried saying that my daughter wasn't seen in 2-3 years. I told them last year we had a phone appointment with Dr. M to lower the dose, but apparently they don't keep track of that. I told them look at when the meds were put in to change to 5mg... yea thats right, then they found that it hasn't been 3 years since we spoke with the doctor. This is probably the most unorganized office I have ever dealt with. They said that we needed to come in person for a followup which we did. I asked if she can take a preventative medicine since she gets so many migraines every month. He said no. We asked about any other options. So he changed the meds to sumatriptan which didn't do a thing. I had to take he to the ER for a migraine because she didn't have any meds that worked. But this office could care less. The E.R. asked about her migraine history and I told them about her doctor and what she has tried without anything helping greatly. We were going on vacation so I called and asked if the doctor can refill rizatriptan because sumatriptan didn't work. Never got a response. I sent a message on myhealth and called every day that week. I was told every single day they would have the doctor call me. I told them we were leaving on vacation at the end of the week so need it asap. They messaged me on myhealth saying he may want to change to a different medicine. Its never a good idea to try a new med when your going on vacation let alone going to another country. I called again and again and they kept telling me he would call me back. Never happened. It's been 3 weeks,,,, 3 freaking weeks and NOTHING. Thank God she hasn't had a really bad migraine. So this last week.... again calling everyday and I told them Monday I want my daughter to have a new doctor. Again they tell me someone will call me. I call back again Wednesday and they again said I would get a call and that it went to the manager and they saw my notes. They said if I don't hear anything by Friday to ask to talk to the manager. Which I did and they didn't transfer me to the manager. They said Tracy is the manager and was talking to Morgan about it; That for sure one of them would call me within a couple hours. He kept putting me on hold, I was on the phone for over an hour which is outrageous. The guy said he needed to put me on hold again for about 4 minutes, this was about 6 times by now. I told him no, that I have other phone calls to make and asked if they are for sure calling me today, he said yes, they are figuring it out. I said highly doubtful they are going to call me because Ive heard that at least 12 times. No shock, no response. It shouldn't be THAT hard to get a different doctor, that my daughter needs her meds, this is outrageous. Im going to call my daughter prime doctor to request a referral to a different Neurology place. I wouldn't recommend bringing your kids to neurology because you wont get seen in a timely manner (can't schedule even a phone appointment for 6-12 months), never ever get a call back when they say, rarely get a response on myheqlth and NEVER get a call from the doctor when the nurses claim they will call.
