DO NOT recommend unless you know before you ever have your 1st appointment with the Dr. that you will not want a 2nd opinion from any one else in the practice, very poor customer service. Had my 1st appointment at the Mechanicsville location, was not please with the care provided by the Dr. that I saw this location was NOT thorough with his exam/ visit. When I reached out to Arthritis Specialists, LTD to see about making an appointment to see another physician at their Johnston Willis dr. location and explained that after having just the ONE appointment with the physician at their Mechanicsville location and not being pleased with the Dr. and needing a second opinion, I was told that since I had already been seen by the one Dr. that I can not been seen by any of the other Dr. in their practice (even though it was just one time). I did mention that when I had 1st called to setup an appointment (Nov. 2024) the Dr's at the Johns Willis location were booked out till Aug. 2025 and went ahead and went set up an appointment with the Dr. at the Mechanicsville location since I could be seen sooner and was in a great deal of pain at the time and after the 1st visit realized he was just not a good fit for me. I was then told that since I had just taken an appointment at which ever location could see me 1st that I can't just jump between the locations/ Dr. for it be more convent for myself not far to other patients (reminder when I called in Nov. 2024 was told Johnston Willis location was booked out till Aug. 2025, but that Mechanicsville location see be sooner) .I made it clear when I called to see about getting setup with another DR. that I understood looking at Aug. 2025/ later . And then I was told that the Dr. that I saw in Mechanicsville took an hour of there time to see me (so not far to now see another Dr. in their practice). I remind them that this appointment took up little more than a couple hours of my time that day (time take off of work for the appointment etc.) the hour that I sat in the actual room before the dr. came in to see me, then the almost hour visit (that not including the time spent in the waiting room to get called back (which was not unreasonable) and this on top of my 1st appointment that I had with this Dr. being cancelled the morning of the date my 1st appointment was suppose to happen and being pushed out by two weeks (not really given a reason as why they had to cancel my appointment less than 24 hour notice other than the Dr. will not be in the office now), which I was understanding about at the time. read more
