mexican food in a styrofoam container
    Dale S.

We first tried Arteagas last month we were really disappointed but I hate writing negative reviews and everyone has a bad day so it's always best to give multiple chances. Unfortunately, our next (and last) visit was more of the same. The employees were friendly and our food was ready every time when we arrived. Prices are reasonable. However, the food is just bad. The super burrito is small, the meat was dry and chewy and it had very little flavor. Steak tacos were ok but plain and the flauta meal was disappointing; you only get a few tiny flautas covered in sour cream. I think the biggest problem though is their beans and rice. They are probably the worst I have ever tasted. The rice was cold, clumpy and oddly flavored but luckily there wasn't much flavor to begin with. The beans were inedible. They put a small cube of white cheese into the beans that never melted (on either visit) because the beans are served cold. They are bland and have this gritty texture that is very off-putting. We might return to purchase something at the market portion as the staff is always nice and prices are equitable but I would not eat here again.

The chorizo is good and obviously made in house. The breakfast burritos in the picture being made are FULL of food and the tortillas freshly made are super delicious. The guacamole was decent. The staff is friendly.

Unbelievable! These flautas were extremely tiny! They look like the frozen taquitos you buy at a grocery store! I've ordered this plate in the past and it was NEVER like this! For the price I paid it is NOT worth it plus it arrived cold!!

    Carne asada fries???

Ordered through door dash. Pick up was waiting for them for a solid 20 minutes after delivery time. Carne asada fries didn't have any toppings, just meat, onions, and fries. Would only give two salsa cups, even though I ordered for four people. Burritos were bland at best.

Food was ok but my question to them is. We got two taco plates and the tacos and the rice and beans were all totally cold. Is that normal?

I love these burritos, my favorite in Lodi! The place is harder to find because it's in a market, but make the effort to find it!

Definitely not worth it. I stopped into VS as I am an avid shopper to the brand but they didn't have any good sales going on that would make it worth it. However, I decided to go to Claire's and see what they had. They had a lot of cute items that I got my nieces as pictured. The staff was friendly and they had sales going on. I was disappointed in this mall and their food court seemed dead. I probably would not be back as I was not happy with the selections for myself but I found cute stuff for my nieces. It was clean and appeared safe. You may like it but I didn't. Not sure if I'll be back in the area. But is in a great location as it reminds me of a low key Strip as there are several chain restaurants and bars everywhere.

Many vacant units inside the mall and outside at those individual buildings. The decorations are very outdated and the mall is due to a major remodeling! The food court is next to the entrance. But looks very dark and the tables and chairs are old and uncomfortable! This is one of the biggest shopping mall in the City of Stockton. I hope the management company and the owner will keep it up and bring in more better quality tenants.

They were also very helpful and informative when taking our orders. Food was very fast to come out maybe about a 5 min wait on a Saturday afternoon. When the food arrived we ordered the chicken karaage as an appetizer. It was okay the chicken didn't have that much flavor and the texture was a lot like calamari other than that the sauce it came with was very delicious and they give great portions. Now for the Ramen we got the chicken paitan ramen, it was super hot and fresh which is a plus. The noodles were delicious and tasted fresh really nice texture. The broth was okay it wasn't creamy like how most paitan ramen is, and I asked for it spicy well there wasn't really any spice to it. The egg and other little things were delicious and had a great presentation. The atmosphere was nice, the Tracy mall is very dead but I didn't mind to eat my ramen and soak in the liminal feeling of the mall. There was also this cotton candy machine in the food court that played this roblox obby music which was nice to listen to while I slurped up my ramen. Other than that I would recommend Gokazoku Ramen and I would stop by to eat here again if I was in the Tracy area.

We initially didn't know there was free parking in a nearby parking structure until our friends told us, but luckily we found free street parking around the area for two hours. First impression walking in was how clean the whole place felt. I also liked that there were so many different vendors and cuisines for us all to choose from. Whether you're craving Korean Food, Japanese Food, Peruvian Food, American BBQ, Burgers, or pretty much anything else, you'll probably find something here. Honestly, a lot of the vendors caught my attention because what they offered looked really good. We also spotted a cashew based ice cream shop, which was perfect for dessert after our meal. I also liked how everything was indoors too, especially since it keeps people sheltered from the weather on hot days. Another thing I appreciated was the amount of tables and seating made available. It didn't feel stressful trying to find a place to sit, and we were here on a Sunday. As we walked through the market, I thought the layout was designed really well. The way everything was set up made the place feel a lot bigger and more spacious than it actually was. I thought that was pretty smart. I'd definitely come back to this public market again next time I'm in the area.

First off, the company behind it, Brainstormer, seems to ask the most weird and obscure questions of all the quiz chains -- think museums in Madrid, or Slovenian bikers -- as if they want you to fail. Scores were pretty low across the board. It was a constant struggle to hear anything the host was saying, largely because he insisted on wearing a mask. He also had a somewhat curt, unfriendly demeanor. Brainstormer was probably the best a decade ago, but something seems to have gone wrong with them along the way. Whoever's in charge of events should consider switching to Head Games, Geeks Who Drink, Live Event, or Pub Trivia Nerds.

Better signage would help to arrive for parking. It was pretty empty outside, which I understood because it was hot. We decided to go upstairs and order a drink. The bartender was really sweet and attentive. We placed an order with her for food as well and sat outside while we waited. The view of the water upstairs is beautiful. You see the boats go by and wave. We ordered nachos, a burger, buffalo wings, and a club sandwich. (About $16-18 each). The food took about 10 to 15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. The server was really nice and friendly. He chatted a bit with us and made sure everything was as ordered. I tried a little bit of everything and I will say, everything tasted great! The food was plentiful for the price. The buffalo wings were bigger than I expected. The club sandwich was huge and I got full with just half the order. The curly fries were made to perfection. I couldn't get enough of those. The inside has connect for, a pole table, and darts. They didn't have a central AC. While you can certainly drive here, arriving by water is part of the experience and makes this waterfront gem feel like a destination rather than just another restaurant. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for, relaxed, lively, and filled with people enjoying the sunshine, good company, and free live music. Plenty of umbrella-covered tables provide welcome shade while you soak in the waterfront views. The staff was friendly, upbeat, and attentive, adding to the easygoing vibe. We decided to make it a finger-food feast, and every basket that hit the table looked better than the last. The onion rings arrived beautifully golden with a light, airy batter that shattered with every bite, accompanied by both ranch and barbecue sauces for dipping. The nachos were a showstopper. Built sky-high with seasoned ground beef, a generous blend of cheeses, fresh pico de gallo, jalapeños, olives, onions, sour cream, and guacamole, every chip was loaded with flavor. This isn't a plate meant for one person, it's made for friends to gather around. Just don't wait too long, because like all great nachos, the race is on before those bottom chips get soft and surrender to all that cheesy goodness. The appetizer sampler was another winner, piled high with crispy chicken strips, crunchy flautas, fries, chips & cheese and even more onion rings. Everything arrived piping hot, perfectly crisp, and cooked exactly as it should be. Every bite offered something different, making it the perfect platter to share over a couple of cold beers. To finish, we shared the shredded chicken quesadilla, grilled until beautifully golden with just the right amount of char. The tortilla was crisp on the outside, while the seasoned shredded chicken and melted cheese created a rich, satisfying filling. Paired with fresh guacamole and cool sour cream, it was simple comfort food done right. This isn't the place for fine dining, and that's exactly its charm. It's where you come to dock the boat, order an ice-cold beer, share baskets of delicious comfort food, tap your foot to live music, and watch the boats come and go. Sometimes that's exactly the recipe for a perfect day on the water... and this place delivers it beautifully. Overall: A must-stop when you're out enjoying a day on the Delta. Just save room for the onion rings, they're worth the trip all by themselves.
