I've been a regular customer here for a while, and I've appreciated their work. When it's done right, my brows look amazing! However, the quality can be hit or miss depending on who's working that day. When the work is great, it's GREAT; but when's it's bad, it's BAD. Unfortunately, after my visit yesterday, I don't think I'll be returning. The lady I usually go to was the only one working, and I completely understand the pressure that comes with that. But because she was rushing, my eyebrows ended up uneven and MUCH MUCH thinner than I usually get them (this has happened twice now w another employee). It felt like she was more focused on getting through the line quickly than on doing a thorough job. As a regular, I thought this was very impersonal, I assumed she knew I keep my eyebrows thick and long. I bawled my eyes out as soon as I got in my car. I get that busy days happen, but consistency is key--especially when it comes to something as precise as eyebrow threading. I hope they take more care in the future, but for now, I'll be looking for a new spot. Came in a bit late (about 7:40pm) and they seemed to be cleaning up. Gloria took me in and started my eyebrow threading and one of the first things she did was map my eyebrows which I had NEVER had done but it makes so much sense! She also said she could tint them and it was my first time and I wasn't over the moon about the tint but it was nice to try out. Overall, I thought this place was a bit pricey! I walked away spending $22 on eyebrow threading and $13 on tint plus a tip! I usually go to places that charge $10-$12. The shop is very neat and decorated nicely so I definitely appreciated that! read more

10/10 would highly recommend! I made sure to make a reservation because you never know if businesses are busy or not, but it was during a slow period! So I called and booked a place. Secondly upon arriving they were super sweet, the shop is clean and the decore was wonderful! Linda took me around back and was super polite asked me about my day and gave me great hospitality! I asked her if she can even my eyebrows (because I have bushy thick eyebrows and wanted them to be 100% even) and she did her thing!!!! She mapped out my eyebrows with the thread and ink and showed it to me first before processing the process! (Bring up the term mapping if u want to see how they would shape them) then she being threading! She she handed me the mirror I was so grateful!!!!! THEY LOOK AMAZING! Don't listen to these bad reviews they probably didn't have eyebrows to begin with! But this place is the spot! I'll be sending all my girlies here! read more

My brows are way thinner and I like the more soft arched brows and she gave me straight brows. The other thing is it took longer hurt more and she cut me. If I could give this place zero stars I would, I went in for a brow, lamination intense. I was there for about 45 minutes close to an hour. She started to do the lamination and as soon as she was done, she went ahead and put the eyebrow tint on immediately after I did tell her this was the first time, I've done this and she reassured me that they were going to look great after she was done with the tinting. She went ahead and wipe them off and they were extremely dark almost black and they did not lighten up at all. She told me not to mess with them for 24 to 48 hours, however, because of how dark they were, and that they looked, I waited until the next morning, and I clean them with my water not to mention many of my natural eyebrows were just flaking off of my face. When I asked her why they were so dark she said that it was because I laminated them immediately after I asked her. Why did she let me know that before applying the tent if I had told her it was my first time and she knew that they were gonna absorb the dark color. She should have used a lighter color or let me know before hand and then I should come back later, also the next day I sent her a picture of how horrible my eyebrows looked and she offered me a 50% discount on my next visit. I will never come back to this place. This was the worst experience I've ever had and it's been once and I still have patches missing from my eyebrows. I highly recommend that nobody come here. Called to set up an appointment for a brow wax, first time being there. I have to say it was very zen I almost passed out while she was waxing my eye brows. I came here for the first time today and my first time ever threading so I don't have much to compare. I do have to say it's a lot neater than waxing and I prefer it over waxing. I plan on coming back in two weeks. Sabrina did my brows and I was told it would take a little bit for my eyebrows to grow and have them reshape. I guess I went too crazy with my tweezers. Oops. For $9 for the threading that's not bad at all! I was told it would hurt and I didn't feel anything honestly. One thing I'd critique on is I was told to use castor oil on my eyebrows to help with hair growth. Do not use castor oil if you're pregnant or breastfeeding which is my case. Otherwise, I'd recommend them! read more

I had my eyebrows threaded here and they came out 2 completely different shapes. This was in March and I'm still growing them back (in August). Their mistakes had permanent effects on my eyebrows as I now can not grow the hair back in some places. I didn't really notice until I got in my car and when I called they did refund me. This will be the first and last time that I will be visiting this place. My eyebrows were threaded horribly and uneven. I told her about the horrible job that she performed. She thought I could not see the mistake on my right eyebrow. She gave me two dollars off and that was it, I usually go to browz art on Northwest Expressway and pay $10 but I was in the neighborhood and decided to give them a chance. I will never go back to this place for $21 for horrible threading of my right eyebrow. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Not a happy customer! read more

I came in as a walk in, they took WAY too much of my eyebrows off, keep in mind they were full and pretty grown in so they threaded a lot of it out in order for my eyebrows to be as thin as they are. They said they'd do a tint which they did however, biggest regret. Not only are my eyebrows really dark but they are uneven even tho they did the "eyebrow mapping" which is supposed to help them be symmetrical. I don't recommend, unless you are trying to pay for messed up eyebrows. read more

Never going back! This was my first visit to Art of Eyebrow Threading. I don't remember who helped me...after standing in the lobby ungreeted for over 5 minutes. I felt like it was rushed. The girl helping me took a phone call on speaker during the wax and seemed to have a guy waiting in the parking lot for her because as soon as she finished I had just got into my car and she ran out and got into a car. That's not the worst part. I now have skin ripped off of my eyebrow and will now possibly have scarring on top of the embarrassment of being asked by everyone, what happened to my face?? See photo. The only reason I give this establishment any stars is because they usually do a good job threading my face but the organization and time management of this business isn't so great. I walked in today and waited about 10 minutes. They called me back in with another customer who signed in 10 minutes after I did but as we sat down, the one girl immediately started working on the other girl even though i signed in first. Businesses shouldn't expect customers to potentially cause a scene by confronting them about who came first. I signed in at about 10:20. Got seated in the back around 10:30. They didn't start working on me until 10:40. The one worker worked on my brows first. Then she switched to a different customer seated next to me. Another girl starts working one side of my face but has left me 4 times to check on another customer getting tinted. The first worker came back and did the other half of my face but after mentioning twice that i didn't want my side burns done she already started working my side burns and then remembered that i had asked not to. so she said she couldn't let me walk out with only one side done. i appreciated it however i asked not to get them done after seeing how busy they've been and i needed to get going. Most business would be apologetic after having to wait so long and offer discounts of some type. i get to paying once i'm FINALLY finished, and they still charged me for my side burns after they accidentally did them when i asked for them not to be done. $60 total. I was seated at 1030am and didn't leave until 1137am. I sat in that chair for an HOUR for something that usually takes 20 minutes tops and was charged for something i asked not to be done. makes me upset because i actually liked coming here but i won't be returning after today. read more

I used to love Renu-the lady that did my eyebrows here. Before Renu there was another girl named Anju who was really good also but Anju hasn't been there for a long time. Last week I went in to see Renu and was told she too was no longer there. I was so upset but I decided to have my eyebrows done there anyway. I have lived all over the U.S. and have had my eyebrows threaded for the last 12 years. This was by far the WORST experience. I told the yoing girl I did not want my eyebrows too thin nor did I want a rounded arch. The young girl that did my brows marked my forehead with black powder -which I have never seen any real professional do. She literally took a layer of my skin off because she was pushing down so hard and kept going over the same area over and over again with so much pressure. The skin near my eyebrows are still sore and scabbed- 4 days later. Her technique was messy- she didn't know how to maneuver the string and her hands kept brushing against my lip and nose which made the whole situation that much more uncomfortable. I was in the chair for close to 30 minutes. Normal eyebrow threading has never taken more than 15 minutes for me. Before she finished, she complained to the new girl she was training about her neck pain and how she needed a break. After she threaded my brows she left to take her break and let this new girl trim my eyebrows and finish up. She didn't even have the professional courtesy to finish. When I looked in the mirror, not only had she thinned them out too much but she ruined the natural shape and rounded my arch- the exact thing I told her I DID NOT want done. I normally don't write reviews but this honestly was the worst experience I've ever had. Just FYI- A true professional does not need to mark your forehead before threading. They will look at you and see what needs to be done. The girl that did my brows here is an amateur. Unfortunately I think she might be the owner or manager there- which makes it even worse. If you tell a customer that you will be right with them then it shouldn't take 45 minutes to an hour of sitting in the waiting room. If it will take that long then the professional thing to do would be to be upfront about the time it will take. During this waiting time two people left because of how ridiculous it was. People have schedules and can't spend the entire day sitting in a waiting room. read more

I have always been a fan of getting my brows threaded and have been searching for an affordable place since I moved from Fort Worth to here. I accidentally saw this place when leaving Ofelia's Alterations, lucky for me, it was right next door and I really needed my brows done. I am a huge supporter of local businesses. I will most certainly be back. I can honestly say it's probably the best my brows have ever looked. I have been getting my brows threaded since 2006 when I lived in Phoenix. The young gal did a fabulous job, and it was only $8!! You just can't beat that. She was very sweet, was gentle and I was in and out in 15 minutes. The studio itself is decorated very cute and very Oklahoma with cowhide on the floor. They also issue you a punch card and after so many, you get a free one. I get my full face threading done here and I love it! I just get my eyebrows cleaned as I like my brow shape to remain thicker and not thin. The girls know what there doing, they listen to what you want and give you exactly that. Also I usually go with my kiddos (3 to and my 7 month) and they are always so nice about it. Great location, plenty parking and clean. I usually just walk in and have never made an appointment and I get In just fine. Only thing I can say is that once I got comfortable with the same 2 gals the last 4 years..I came one day and there were two new girls that replaced them. They are good too so it all worked out.
