Hotel has nice large rooms with ecellent views from my 6th floor. Noise level on 6th is not bad for city hotel as long as you keep balcony door closed. Btw, nice balcony. Room include breakfast, continental type. Not much to fill you up but can get you going in the morning with juice and coffee The bed is Queen type but for us Americano's just too firm for my taste. But normal for this area. Typical setup in lobby, return key when you leave for the day. After all too big to take with you. Staff is helpful with directions, reservations, provided umbrellas as well. Great stay here.

So disappointed! As…read morea frequent business traveler, I'm very familiar with business convention hotels but that withstanding -- I was still disappointed! The hotel is very dated; light pine furniture and brown fabric/paint as far as the eye can see! The room was actually very clean and tidy (with an updated bathroom) but the room felt like it needed a decor facelift. 3.5 stars. The restaurant was awful! 2.5 stars at most! The selection is very limited and the food was stone cold. I mentioned the temperature and they reheated the same plate ... It came back to the table overcooked and flavorless. *I did have a very lovely waiter though who was courteous, apologetic for the food, and brought me a dessert on the house and tried to make things right (the lemon pie was to die for!) * :) I would not recommend this hotel overall for quality/price/local authenticity. If you need a place to stay - it's not the end of the world but if you do stay, please brave the crazy parking situation and eat in the centre of Varese!
