Dr. Renee is so caring and gives me a number of tips to make sure that my muscles aren't cramping up. I usually feel immediate better after a session. I really like how there's an almost spa like feel with the binaural beats playing in the background and the option to put a bit of heat on my back. I've only seen Dr. Lori about four times now, but I have already received significant relief... even since day one! I've been dealing with constant daily pain from my temples to mid-back. It could be any combination of reasons, really... TMJ, harsh dental work, whiplash from a car accident, bad posture, typing at a desk all day, all of the above... I've seen specialists and gotten X-rays and an MRI and have pretty much given up on the finding one isolated cause. I pretty much just dedicate my paychecks to weekly massages and random massager crap that I get suckered into from instagram ads (every time!). I've been skeptical and hesitant and chiropractors and acupuncture, but I decided to finally give it another shot. Dr. Lori is sweet and friendly and doesn't seem like she's pulling my leg, unless she's literally pulling my leg (I love those stretches / spinal decompression). Next thing you know, I got readjusted, stretched, cupping, and acupuncture all on my first visit. A couple hours later, I realized that all of my usual tightness was relieved! I could feel the difference, especially in my shoulders which are used to be bulky and tight. I also haven't had the need to take tylenol for tension headaches I used to frequently get. Dr. Lori is a life saver. After hurting my back putting down a box at work (I know, I'm dumb) I child barely move. I got stuck every time I sat down and was in major pain. After my first visit two days past injury I was able to move again. I went back a week later and found even more relief. Now - I'm not perfect, I don't think that's a reasonable expectation. I have scoliosis and chiropractic care is one way to help alleviate some pain/discomfort that I have. I've spent the last month going on a chiro crusade in hopes of finding a forever home for my scoliosis-laden spine and myself. After trying out a few places, I think I've settled here! They have appointments available both early in the morning (9am) and later in the evening (5pm), which is convenient. The office is contemporary, professional but also feels warm and inviting. I've been seeing Dr. Ann, who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to offering some insight on what's going on back there. She puts these heavy heated mats over your back before adjusting to stretch out the muscles (which feels AMAZING now, imagine how it will feel once winter hits!). The practice also offers acupuncture (which as scary as I initially thought it would be was pretty awesome!). I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my second boy and a huge waddling mess. The last year has been full of school, work, toddler and transition and I have not had time or energy to get relief from the pains of life. However, this pregnancy I have severe PSD and could barely function without tears swelling in my eyes and was losing sleep and energy. I finally found a location that happily accepted me being pregnant and accepted my insurance; I was relieved! The location was small but clean and the staff were very helpful with billing, finding a bus route near by and answering all my questions. I was immediately greeted by a happily smiling chiropractor (who is also pregnant right now) and she was very attentive to my wants, needs, goals and humor. She really listened and asked if her pressure, her touching, her technique were all something I was comfortable with. This was unique as I've often had people just crack and push and not ask if their pressure was good for you and trust me - one pressure does not fit all. She asked for feedback and checked on me often. She allowed me to get comfortable, wrapped me in body heating blankets to warm my muscles before manual stimulation and I never felt rushed. As I left the staff were helpful in meeting my needs for rescheduling and I was happy that in just moments after my session I could already feel relief. Dr. Renee is my hero!!! I have had chronic neck pain for 6 years now and she is the only one to give me pain relief! I tried a different chiro, PT at 3 different locations, massage therapy, reiki, cupping and acupuncture and never found pain relief until I saw Dr. Renee. She knew exactly where my pain was without me even pointing it out too. She uses ultrasound therapy on my neck (which feels incredible) as well as specific adjustments to my condition. I also recently started having upper back pain that would put me in such pain that I couldn't even move and she found my partial dislocation of my shoulder from over 10+ years to be the culprit and has helped me become pain free!! The Art District was the only one that had an opening and took BCBS insurance. I carry a lot of stress in my lower back and shoulder area. Dr. Renee was able to not only fix the issue, but was able to do it painlessly. No bruising or pain after. Note this office is an open floor plan so you can hear other patients conversations and the loud sounds of the chiropractic equipment. Dr. Lori is the bomb. I have had chiro care at many other places and she is by far the best. (Specifically THIS doctor at this business.) She uses different techniques, stretches me out well, and has a variety of treatments available to use along with the adjustment. She uses a heated blanket along with message, acupressure, and ultrasound, the Graston technique. She is pretty strong and very effective. Determined to shift all joints as much as possible. There is one criticism that I do have. There is no receptionist here so sometimes there is a lot of phone tag to get an appointment set up. I use her treatments along with Accupuncture and cupping at TCM with Dr. Bian. (See TCM review). These doctors are a perfect combination for natural health care. read more

Dr. Lori is very personable and really listens to what is going on with you before starting a treatment plan. She gives you the option of ultra sound vs.muscle stem before she adjusts. My husband has also being seeing Dr. Lori for the past few years. She also works with kids. I've brought my older son to see her when his back was bothering him. Update/5 years later: I'm still with Arts District! Dr. Ann left and I've been seeing Dr. Lori since. She is GREAT. I was seeing her for maintenance, then in January 2018, I was in a car accident. Her compassion, care, knowledge, and experience has been getting my body back on track. Still loving this place! ----------- Original 2013 review ----------- I had always been put off by chiropractors and I've heard many, many horror stories. However, after dealing with some long term pain that wasn't getting any better with massage, I started looking into chiropractic care. This place seemed to be different from other chiropractor's websites I was browsing, so I requested an appointment online, and was called soon after. Since that day, I've been under the care of Dr. Ann and she has been AMAZING! She really takes the time to listen to my needs and make sure that I'm feeling great by the time I walk out of there. I'm extremely pleased with my experience at Art District Chiropractic! I've been seeing Dr. Morgan for about 2 months, I came in with severe pain due to bulging disks among other issues. I started feeling better from my first session, and even though I've been traveling a whole lot since I started I've continued to improve substantially. Additionally, Dr. Morgan works on my entire body, not only on the problem areas identified by my doctor like my physiotherapist did. As a result she has been realigning my neck, which feels amazing and miraculously, I barely get any migraines now at all! I've had regular migraines since I was 8 years old, so this is a major positive change in my life. Finally, the clinic has a relaxing and positive vibe, and the staff are very friendly. Dr. Morgan is very pleasant and kind, she has good holistic tips, and is flexible with scheduling appointments. I have had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Morgan and Art District Chiropractic. My son, suffering from ear infections and I were traveling to MN to see family and his ear pain flared up. Already on antibiotics (which I wish i didn't have to give him) a few parents suggested taking him to see a chiropractor and Dr. Morgan was recommended. We had no idea what to expect and she put us all at ease including my 14 mo old. He instantly went to her arms and before you knew it he was relaxed as she was assessing and adjusting. After the appt. he seemed instantly in a better mood and we scheduled follow-up sessions. Dr. Morgan's holistic approach to treatment was evident throughout the process as we traveled back home she helped us find a family chiropractor for follow-up and ongoing treatment. She made phone calls for us, sent over paperwork. I would trust her with any treatment from intense adult pain, to minor adjustments to children going the first time.
