Salt & pepper shakers that I painted!

Painting ceramics is probably the most relaxing thing I ever ever done! When I arrived, the place was super-packed with kids & babies crying, etc...however, the staff was very professional and helpful and did not seem at all overwhelmed despite the busy atmosphere. Spacing was adequate and supplies ample, especially the selection of ceramics to choose from. I will definitely be returning to and recommending this place...

Such a great way to create memories! My girlfriend and I had gone down to Kalamazoo, MI for my birthday this year to see the Greta Van Fleet concert. We stopped in after lunch and just decided to go for it and to create a little something to bring home with us. The ladies that worked there were so nice and the shipping was fast (we are out in Southern California), quick, and everything came tightly packaged! 1000000/10 would HIGHLY recommend!

Through the years she has painted me many things and I love seeing how her skills have gotten so good and her creativity has bloomed. Parking lot is shaheed with other business' and can fill up quickly. If you want to paint on a weekend call early and make your reservations. If not there don't be spots ope day off you want to paint. From there you'll arrive to find the friendliest most helpful staff around. You'll also see how organized the business is ran, how clean it is inside and how they go out of their way to make the time you're there special. They go over everything you need to know if you're a first timer and if you're a frequent flier they let you go wild with your ideas. The price of the piece you choose includes everything. But so be careful pretty soon you've spent $100!! It's well worth it. You walk away with a piece that you'll have forever. I strongly recommend you go to the female locally owned business. Great for parties, date nights alone time and to take your kiddos. Dads even go too! Let your creativity run free in this establishment. You'll love it.

Had to leave a great review since a lovely staff member found my credit card in the parking lot and called me immediately to let me know it was safe. Overall, 10/10 experience for me. We decided on glass art but can't wait to come back to hand paint some of their pottery, which the selection is far better then anywhere we've ever seen! Emily was so patient and fun with my 12yr old, and made sure the design was 100% his! Loved that! Thanks for offering a cool space for our creativity Moth Wing! See ya again soon

There are so many different ceramic paint colors to choose from as well. The fused glass art section has so many beautiful colors of glass to choose from. They also have spin art and a section of cute crafts for kids in addition to lots of ceramic choices for kids of all ages. The vibe here is so relaxing and peaceful. This spaces oozes warm and creativity. From the inviting front porch overlooking pedestrians to the lofty attic overlooking the studio below. It's such a cute spot! We had a handful of kids with us so we quickly went about selecting our items to paint and getting down to business. I appreciated that they had booster seats available for toddlers to participate - gamechanger! I was surprised that the experience was a little pricier than what I'm used to in Indy - they charge a per head studio fee here in addition to the pottery selections which can quickly add up. We opted for a bowl, easter egg and cupcake to paint. They also had a variety of ornaments, seasonal decor and kid-friendly designs to choose from. The overall paint and pottery section was very well-organized. Better yet, this is all located a block from the canal and a great coffee shop. Recipe for a perfect morning!

I love that you have options when you come here - (1) you can either make something with clay (on a wheel or just at a normal table with a hunk of it to make something with), and then you come back to paint it and they will glaze it to finish it off (2)You can pick one of the ready-to-paint items on the shelves or (3) you can actually make glass plates. Be aware that if you paint anything, you will have to wait for it to be fired and come back within a few weeks to pick it up again. It is a good idea to call ahead if you plan on going in with any more than 1 or 2 people to make sure they have space at their tables, but it's usually not that big of an issue unless you're going around a holiday. If you want to do something with glass or the pottery wheel, you will need to schedule for that. They offer student discounts here for anyone with a student ID and often have seasonal pieces on sale near the end of the season. They also have a little rewards punch card and every $10 you get a hole punched - once the card is full you get 15% off your next visit. If you aren't able to go in during normal hours, they do give people the option to come on Wednesday's between 6-9, which is really nice. Absolutely love this little gem place.
