I have eaten here quite a bit and the food is awesome! It's good, fast, TexMex. As we all know, chips and salsa can make or break a Mexican restaurant. Theirs is good! I will either get the taco's or the cheese enchiladas. Their taco shells are homemade and they are fabulous! Their cheese enchiladas and good and gooey. The price is more than fair, the service can be sketchy some times, but it's not that big of a deal to me. I realize I'm not going to the Ritz! I have only been for lunch, never for breakfast. This place is disgusting and their customer service is terrible. I order over the phone and get passed around until I finally get my order taken. I wait maybe 10 minutes to go over there. I tell them I'm there for a pick up and pay only to find out it's not ready. I waited there for 45 minutes, I asked the freaking big guy with a red shirt that I wanted a refund and he kept refusing saying it was almost out. Everyone behind me got there order except me, when I finally did get my order it was mushed together. The tacos did not get wrapped correctly and there was so much grease falling on to each other. I paid 30 dollars for crap. Apart from that I saw a waitress picking bacon from a customer's order before she gave it to him. Flies were everywhere I should have left from the start but I had paid. I honestly deserve a apology from the owner, you know who I am because I was there from 10:47am-11:30am, remember the one who you kept calling lisa. I am disgusted by this type of people, that i will report this to investigate their cleanliness. read more

12/14/16: What a great little cafe! We sat ourselves and a server was at the table almost instantly with chips and salsa. The chips were made in house and the Salsa was extra spicy, so be sure to wait for your drink before diving in! The menu also has several options for those who are not into Tex-Mex food. I ordered the La Tapequenia plate, which had fajitas, cheese quesadillas, two cheese enchiladas and a guacamole salad. This plate was very, very generous, so I asked for a to-go box immediately. The cheese enchiladas were a prefect blend of creamy cheese and enchilada sauce. Yummy Ooooey-goooey comfort food! The fajita meat was seasoned just right and so tender it melted in my mouth. All I could think of was, I bet the Carne Guisada is to die for at this cafe! The cheese quesadillas were a little too cheesy for my taste. I should have added some of the fajita meet inside the quesadilla... next time. I liked having a small salad on the plate. The guacamole was basic, but that works fine on a salad. All-in-all, it was a great meal and I am already looking forward to going back soon and trying something else. read more

With COVID-19 affecting small businesses, one should support them in these times of trouble. Normally when we go there, the waitresses that we have had were awesome. One in particular acknowledges you upon entering and is always happy to help the customers. Today was not the case, when we entered the waitress had a Cabbage Patch sour face and I guess was the only one tending to the customers. She did not acknowledge us or say that she was a bit busy but would get to us soon. It pained her to clean our table which was dirty. She helped other customers before even giving us a menu. We were totally oblivious to her and waited a reasonable amount of time before deciding to walk out. She had no intention of taking our order and we do not know her personally. My friend went to pay for his soft drink and the manager was about to over charge him and when advising on the abhorrent behavior by the waitress said nothing as she watched. We ended up going to Stripes and ordered food from there and the kitchen area was immaculate. The employee who took care of our order displayed superior customer service skills and left the one from AR's in her dust. It is not a 5 star environment but common courtesy would have been decent upon the waitresses part from AR's but I guess it was beyond her capacity as a human being. We will not be returning there and normally our tips are at least 50% or more. To AR's management, it is not good business to be understaffed and more so closer to the weekend. Also when hiring employees, those who have appalling attitudes with the public at large should not be in customer facing roles. read more

Was going to stop at another place but ended up here. Huge delicious breakfast tacos at a great price. Really delicious! Place was clean, staff was friendly and good came out quickly. Tortillas taste like my grandmother's which is a huge plus! read more
