His communication is prompt and service is excellent. We were in need of home owners insurance and I am the type of person who will take the time to search for the optimal offer. Andrew with A&E provided us with the best offer! (For those who are curious, we went with Mercury which seems to be the best value in the SGV). He made recommendations on what items in the insurance package he would recommend, and cutting out those that are not necessary to save money. Much appreciated honesty. I didn't need that, but needed general liability and workers comp. I got the liability set up and all was good. Three weeks ago I called to setup workers comp so that I could hire an employee as my business was growing. I was given a quote, agreed with the pricing, and was told I'd hear back from them the following week once everything was submitted to their underwriters. I was told it was ok to hire someone because the policy would be effective the date I originally called. So I hired an employee. Now, again three weeks later, I just got a call from Ben saying that my policy was rejected because they needed 2 years of loss history. As I told Wendy in the initial call, I had workers comp previously for one year. So, all of that to say this. This is a textbook example of incompetence, as NO ONE ever said anything to me about needing to have 2 years of workers comp history, until today. I've wasted 3 weeks of my time with these people, and because of them, I've got an employee and no workers comp. Thanks for nothing Ben.

I've been with Sean Brown/ State Farm for MANY years. Always the best service, and very competitive…read morerates. We always had 2 or 3 cars at a time and renters insurance. And ALWAYS great communication. For some reason in the past year or 2, They made changes in my policy (premium hikes) with no warning and no reason. This month, the premium in my Prius 2020 (with ONLY 13,600 miles in it) went up $300 a year!!!! NO warning, NO reason. My quote is for 2900 miles /year since I work from home and my driving is basically to the grocery store back. I had NO accidents, NO tickets... I called the office and someone said it is Toyota who determines the raise, I called Toyota and they said it is Sean brown who does it. Toyota, allegedly sent a message to Sean Brown's office to call me and clarify, but I haven't heard from them. I am afraid that they are going to lose a good customer who was loyal to them for MANY many years.

I had an issue with our daughters vehicle last year and left numerous messages for him with no return call. I only received emails back from him. There is usually one lady in the office, Lavelle, she is not an expert on policies or information so you have to dig for responses from her as well. Unfortunately their customer service has deteriorated so much that I am looking at other insurance companies and in the interim changing offices. We will also have my parents policies changed over.
