SchoolsFirst furnished false data to credit bureaus, declared they'd "no longer communicate" with me, then sent me documents calling my loan an "auto loan." I never had an auto loan with SchoolsFirst. I took out a $1,000 Classroom Supplies loan in 2023. Paid it off. Done, or so I thought. SchoolsFirst then reported a 30-day late payment to credit bureaus that their own internal records contradict. When I disputed it with documentation, they responded with boilerplate and declared in writing that they would "no longer communicate" with me on the matter. Here's where it gets worse: all three credit bureaus report this account completely differently from each other. One bureau is still reporting the entire account as past due, three years later, for a loan that was paid in full and closed in 2023. Same loan. Same furnisher. Three different stories. That is not a dispute. That is a data integrity failure. Then they mailed me a formal payment history letter, their own document on their letterhead, that described my Classroom Supplies loan as an "auto loan." I have never had an auto loan with SchoolsFirst. That is not a typo. That is a fabricated loan type in an official dispute response, which tells you everything about the reliability of their record-keeping.

Recently I tried to get an Uber and the app keeps saying the transaction was declined and to contact the bank. The bank says that there is no transaction coming through. What do I do with that?     Originally it was Union Bank that U.S. Bank acquired in Dec 1, 2022. Between the two bank my…read morehusband and I were with them for 17 years. The US Branch that I used is excellent. The problem is the customer service at the fraud department at 877-595-6256, a supervisor name Beth. My bank accounts were on hold since Monday, October 20th, 2025. I had called for 3 days without an explanation as to why. It was their Internal Department that put my account on hold and in the notes put Terminating Relationship with client. Reason was fraud. The problem is they cannot provide you a phone number to talk to this Internal Department that made this decision. The bank representative could only email them without getting a response back for 3 days. The reason I asked to talk to the Supervisor (Beth). Beth had a GOD like complex when she spoke with me saying they don't have to give me a reason for terminating a relationship with the client nor an explanation. Then turned me to go talk to the branch that I use. The branch I use was not happy about this because it was not their decision and they didn't have access to what the problem was. I have opened another bank account with another bank. I filed a complaint with OCC.gov and The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau waiting on a response from them on what is going on. Meanwhile I have money in my account at US Bank and waiting for it to get returned to me in a check by mail. Banks should not be allowed to treat clients like this and make such decisions without informing the client with an explanation. Was this because of political affiliation? Race? If it was fraud doesn't the client deserve to know in order to protect themselves from future problems? There was not any communication reached out in any form. The other reason I found out is I went to put gas in my car and the charge would not go through.
