With all of the fraud going around Band of America is very careful about such transactions. Bottomline the branch Manager, Mr. Paul Sharp walked us through, with such skill. I left Chase down the hill for this Credit Union. I was so tired of having to pay fee after fee after fee and they have not let me down it is so nice. One of the things they said to me was once we have your money from Social Security or your pension. It will be in your account and boy. Were they right? I get my money sometimes 5 to 6 days Early And as a senior with a fixed income, that is so unbelievably nice. You have no idea they have stood by their word and it's just so nice to open the door and see smiling faces. They're kind they have free money orders. That is nice when you're on a fixed income. Arrowhead CU is DENYING purchases. If you try to make a purchase using your card they will deny it. Regardless of how much money you have in your account. I cannot order ANYTHING without a charge denial from the store followed by either a text or an automated phone call from the bank saying my purchase was fraudulent. I was told by Fraud Prevention that I will get flagged with any purchases over $65. They do not know why there is this restriction on my account. So the referred me to Customer Services. Contacted Customer Service about the problem. They said they do not know why my transactions are always denied by them. They also said that they could not fix it either. To sum it up. Arrowhead CU is denying me access to my own money. They put a $65 cap on my account. I'm blocked to make purchases with certain companies. They will not fix the problem. This is NOT a one time problem but going on for over a year now. BTW.... I posted a question if anyone else has had this problem on YELP. Arrowhead CU had YELP remove the question. UPDATE: Arrowhead CU remove Uber from the fraudulent business list FOR MY ACCOUNT ONLY. All other legitimate businesses are still on the fraudulent business list. It took several hours to get to this point. Not to mention the two hours before the "request" went through. This means if you want to make a purchase or a payment you have to as Arrowhead permission to use that business. This will take several hours per business. Assuming it's during business hours.

Recently California Bank & Trust bought out our former bank, so I thought I'd look online to see in the off chance there was a branch in town and was pleasantly surprised to find there was. My husband and I walked in and were greeted warmly and the teller apologized because some of the cash would be in $20 denominations because they only had limited bills in their safe. We were relieved because in the past we had exhausting experiences with Wells Fargo trying to obtain cash to buy a used car, giving us the run around and waiting a week to have access to our funds. While the teller retrieved the cash (sorry I can't remember her name!) we visited with Christopher Castillo, the branch 'Relationship Banker', and he was super down to Earth and went over some questions we had about our switch over to CB & T. We are elated to know that we have access to our bank when we're in Lake Arrowhead as we have our law firm's accounts there as well, and we can do banking when needed. The teller asked for my ID. I gave her my passport. She would not accept it. And I told her that there is no better form of ID in this country. But she would not accept it. She asked for a driver's license. So I gave her my Nevada driver's license. She would not accept that form of ID either. it was absurd! I gave her excellent forms of Identification! It was crystal clear that I am who I say I am! And then she had the audacity to tell me that the bank has had losses because of people with fake ID! I was shocked! I said "are you insinuating that I have fake ID?" She said, "no, no, no I'm not insinuating that". So I said "then why did you bring it up?" So then I said, fine, I'll just enter my pin #. She said they don't have those little boxes with a numbers pad that all banks have for customers to enter their pin #. So essentially I had to go out to the ATM machine they have in front of their bank. So what was the whole point of that teller upsetting me when all I had to do was use the ATM machine? What a horrible customer service debacle!!!!!
