For example, I was experiencing difficulty with the Zelle money transfer service, and Cynthia B. was able to track down the obscure error I was encountering, and Zelle doesn't help customers directly, so I was already frustrated with Zelle. But, in typical ThinkWise fashion, Ms. Cynthia kept me calm while she traced where the problem was. What a relief! Worst bank ever had. because your representative told me deposit check and would be fine..now been waiting over two weeks for new check be sent out and I can't take it to any check cashing due to idiot representative telling me write for mobile deposit and signed it..I will be closing account immediately every time try cash check or deposit to account can't why can't you take my SSI check???? Smooth Process Opening New Account But very hard to contact and deal with. Would not accept my history and wanted me to re-fill out paperwork for a "pre approved" car loan. I just went into my other credit union and they handed me a check to go buy a car on one of these pre-approved rates. Ultimately, they were just too small and difficult to deal with. Even though it is a small place with few employees, they treated me like a stranger every time. Even with my very large checks on auto deposit and an excellent credit rating. i truly cannot come up with even the right words to explain how incredibly incompetent this credit union is. trying to get ahold of their lending company is like trying to speak with the grand wizard. i understand that due to the climate of things they are probably slammed with calls but maybe try hiring more people? oh, don't suggest the chat option either because no one ever seems to answer that as well. and when you do finally speak to someone you get the most insufferable, condescending agent. i didn't have a choice when it came to my auto lending options but best believe i will be refinancing with my bank because this place is just ridiculous. read more

Everything is great until you miss a payment or need assistance with making a payment. I accidentally missed a payment in January and didn't realize it until I received an email from them. I'm completely at fault for not realizing that I transferred the money to the wrong account, and I called as soon as I saw the email ready to make the payment. The man that took my call decided to use the wrong tone with me when I wouldn't give him a second phone number. He said they kept calling me but couldn't leave a message. He keep insisting for a second number until I got firm with him and asked him to move on to take my payment. So annoying and unprofessional! Note, I've never made a late payment before, I've actually made extra payments. He finally took my payment information, confirmed my email, and then hung up without giving me a confirmation number. I later checked my phone for missed calls, and I saw no missed calls from them. I had to email someone to get my confirmation number because every-time I call, the wait time is too long. I few days later after not receiving a confirmation number and not seeing it charged from my account, I just decided to make the payment online and that was faster than waiting on them to do their job. When I first opened my account with them, I asked for assistance with accessing my online account and I got the same annoyed tone from one of their workers. Anyway, I can't wait to finish paying off the loan I have with them and close this account. It's almost like they hate doing their job and instead of making things easy, they wanna give you a hard time. read more

It's been easy to bank with Thinkwise, including car loans, personal loans, line of credit, etc. The only recommendation for customer service improvement would be that they provide a live phone operator to direct calls; the wait time can be bothersome when trying to get assistance over the phone. read more

Although customer service is great ...the ATM situation is ridiculous....for months the door to the ATM was broken and every time we would call they would say its fixed and every time I would go after hours it would still be broken....I went there this morning around 9am and the was working but the ATM inside was not ...it would have nice if maybe there was a sign on it so I would not have wasted my time trying withdraw money.....and the lady that finally came out to tell me it wasn't working was kinda rude read more

The phones ring and ring. They had the best receptionist for at least a decade, now no one mans the receptionist desk. Went into the branch to have a wire sent as we were closing on a home. Teller was nice and told me wire would be done by 12:30p but probably sooner. This was 9:30a. At 1:30p my realtor contacted me and asked if the wire was sent. Told her I already went to the bank. Come to find out it didn't get done as I was told and took me calling to get it done ASAP. The wire manager called the escrow company to let them know it was sent. Previous manager needs so training as and transferred me so quick it was ridiculous. End result we closed a day late thanks to the bank read more
