I have been with Thinkwise since I was very young, now I'm in the stage of my life where I need personal loans. I have worked with Bertin more than once and every time he has been very knowledgeable, patient, and very quick to respond. The rates at the Thinkwise are always better than non credit unions and I appreciate that. I will always go to them first. read more

I have been with this credit union for over a decade. I would never and will never go anywhere else. Bertin, Eric, Theresa are amazing. I fully trust Thinkwise with my loans and money. read more

Thinkwise is a great credit union that I'd rate a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend. What makes it even better is having Eric, who is truly outstanding. He's incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and one of the best I've come across in a long time. read more

If you're drowning in credit card debt and feel like there's no way out, call Eric Patel at Thinkwise Credit Union. I came in with nearly $20,000 in credit card debt. I was already paying more than the minimum every month and still looking at a 15-year payoff. Eric walked me through a personal loan to consolidate everything, and my new monthly payment is about half of what I was paying before. And I will be debt free in 3 years!!! Approved in less than 24 hours. Funded quickly. The process was straightforward and he made it easy to understand every step of the way. I don't leave reviews often, but Eric deserves the recognition. Highly recommend him if you're ready to actually get ahead of your debt. read more

Nice credit union with great customer service. Charming credit union in down town San Bernardino

Consistently excellent customer support, and they go the distance to be thorough. For example, I was experiencing difficulty with the Zelle money transfer service, and Cynthia B. was able to track down the obscure error I was encountering, and Zelle doesn't help customers directly, so I was already frustrated with Zelle. But, in typical ThinkWise fashion, Ms. Cynthia kept me calm while she traced where the problem was. What a relief! And, it just reinforced that while they might not be a banking giant, they base their service on giving personalized support, and consistently meeting their commitments to their members' needs as actual people. read more

Hats off to Bertin. He approved a personal loan on the same day back in January. The funds were available by the end of the hour! I am very impressed on how swiftly the process took. All of my questions were answered right away. Bertin has a great demeanor and was very patient with me. I appreciate his professionalism. Thinkwise Credit Union is the place to go for loans. Great APR! read more

Amazing staff and amazing environment. Looks like a medieval castle. I love this place

I needed a personal loan for a car repair so went online and completed the request over the weekend, got a call from the loan department on Monday morning, was approved, and got the funds deposited into my account by the close of business that day. Such a great, no-hassle experience! read more

I recently worked with David Medrano to open my first CD and it was a great experience. David explained everything clearly and helped me understand my options. He was always available to answer my questions and provided excellent customer svc.. It's wasn't the original thing that I wanted to sign up for (a loan) but I'm not disappointed. Quite contrary. You guys have a great rep. Thanks again. read more

Smooth Process Opening New Account But very hard to contact and deal with. Would not accept my history and wanted me to re-fill out paperwork for a "pre approved" car loan. I just went into my other credit union and they handed me a check to go buy a car on one of these pre-approved rates. Ultimately, they were just too small and difficult to deal with. Even though it is a small place with few employees, they treated me like a stranger every time. Even with my very large checks on auto deposit and an excellent credit rating. We have stopped working with them. read more

Thinkwise credit union delivers a personal experience that ensures every member is valued as a person not just a number. One staff person in particular Teresa, went above and beyond to ensure our wire transfer for our first home went through diligently. She went out of her way to answer all questions, some I asked more than once, as well as sent a confirmation when it did go through. The communication was much appreciated. Bravo Thinkwise!! Keep up the great work and the great staff! Thank you again Teresa your hard work really does make a difference. read more

I have banked at Thinkwise Credit Union for 35 years. Over the years I have moved to different communities and I have never opened a bank account anywhere else. The sole reason for this is their outstanding and professional staff. It is so refreshing to talk their staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. For example, I recently needed help with a more complicated transaction and both Leslie and Deborah went above and beyond to assist me. They both were extremely patient, knowledgeable and guided me through the process. Within 2 days, the transaction was completed! If you are looking for a better alternative than the unfriendly corporate bank, you will be very pleased with Thinkwise Credit Union. read more

This is a nice new beautiful building and it's literally in the middle of a business section area that doesn't have anything open, and they don't even have a bathroom for their customers. Makes absolutely no sense, it's just rude' & disrespectful for the credit union member's, shows their care & respect for their clients". read more

i truly cannot come up with even the right words to explain how incredibly incompetent this credit union is. trying to get ahold of their lending company is like trying to speak with the grand wizard. i understand that due to the climate of things they are probably slammed with calls but maybe try hiring more people? oh, don't suggest the chat option either because no one ever seems to answer that as well. and when you do finally speak to someone you get the most insufferable, condescending agent. i didn't have a choice when it came to my auto lending options but best believe i will be refinancing with my bank because this place is just ridiculous. read more

I was with Bank of America for 20+ years. I finally switched after hearing great things from co-workers. I'm so happy I did! Thinkwise is so personal. I know all the employees and they get back to you so quick. Great rates with loans. read more

Great staff and service. I've been a member for some time and I really enjoy the staff there. The main reason I got this credit union was because of their low rates. Thank you to cynthia for always helping me with any questions via the phone ! read more

Everything is great until you miss a payment or need assistance with making a payment. I accidentally missed a payment in January and didn't realize it until I received an email from them. I'm completely at fault for not realizing that I transferred the money to the wrong account, and I called as soon as I saw the email ready to make the payment. The man that took my call decided to use the wrong tone with me when I wouldn't give him a second phone number. He said they kept calling me but couldn't leave a message. He keep insisting for a second number until I got firm with him and asked him to move on to take my payment. So annoying and unprofessional! Note, I've never made a late payment before, I've actually made extra payments. He finally took my payment information, confirmed my email, and then hung up without giving me a confirmation number. I later checked my phone for missed calls, and I saw no missed calls from them. I had to email someone to get my confirmation number because every-time I call, the wait time is too long. I few days later after not receiving a confirmation number and not seeing it charged from my account, I just decided to make the payment online and that was faster than waiting on them to do their job. When I first opened my account with them, I asked for assistance with accessing my online account and I got the same annoyed tone from one of their workers. Anyway, I can't wait to finish paying off the loan I have with them and close this account. It's almost like they hate doing their job and instead of making things easy, they wanna give you a hard time. read more

Although I couldn't make it there in person due to my work schedule, Anthony helped set me up and answered all my questions about their services. I like that they check up on past inquiries. I'm very happy I came here. read more

Friendly staff great service. I've been with them a few years now. I recommend Thinkwise

Customer service is outstanding here. Everything is ran efficiently and feel safe knowing my funds are double insured.

My husband and I have been members of the Thinkwise Credit Union for over 30 years. They always provide great customer service! It's been easy to bank with Thinkwise, including car loans, personal loans, line of credit, etc. The only recommendation for customer service improvement would be that they provide a live phone operator to direct calls; the wait time can be bothersome when trying to get assistance over the phone. read more

I've been using this credit for 10 years. I would rate it with 5 stars except sometimes it's inconvenient that there is only one branch. I use it for my personal account and have been able to use it for my businesses also. I love the rate I'm getting on my 60 month CD - hard to beat! And, Teresa is always prompt and pleasant when I need assistance with anything. Thank you! read more

Although customer service is great ...the ATM situation is ridiculous....for months the door to the ATM was broken and every time we would call they would say its fixed and every time I would go after hours it would still be broken....I went there this morning around 9am and the was working but the ATM inside was not ...it would have nice if maybe there was a sign on it so I would not have wasted my time trying withdraw money.....and the lady that finally came out to tell me it wasn't working was kinda rude read more

The phones ring and ring. They had the best receptionist for at least a decade, now no one mans the receptionist desk. I've been a member for almost 15 years this was never an issue before they became Thinkwise, and the staff is no longer as friendly or helpful. If it were not for Paige in the Loan Department I would have changed banks by now. She is always extremely helpful and gives you honest feedback and advice. read more
