I would like to give these guys a huge thumbs up for the services they provide. I called them based on the Yelp reviews and I spoke with Henry several times to arrange an appointment. He was able to work with my odd scheduling request and Alex came out to install some ceiling fans and security lights for me. Alex is a complete sweetheart. Very polite, very professional. He was very quiet while working which really impressed me. Most guys tend to make a lot of noise and make a mess. After he was finished, you could not tell that anyone had been there working on the house. All of the light fixtures and wiring that he had removed were in the neatest stack I had ever seen. He folded the new ceiling fan boxes and put all the manuals together - NOTHING was out of place. This impressed the heck out of me as well (I really wished I had tipped him more). I really don't know how the prices compare to others because I've never had any electrical work done. But I can say that the quotes didn't cause my heart to jump LOL. They felt reasonable for the type of work I had requested. There was no wiring for my security lights and I thought it was going to be a long, drawn out process for him to run wires from the attic. It was not. I was so impressed that I am currently making a list of other projects that I'd like to work with them on. I asked Alex about new lighting in my kitchen and what would be easiest to install. He said, "You pick out whatever it is you want and we will make it work." That just brings a smile to my face. After the snownado power outage here in Texas it encouraged me to buy a gas generator (couldn't afford a big solar battery system) I was researching different companies to put in a transfer switch. Most companies didn't reply to my phone calls and emails or were to busy to take the job. Arrow Electric (Henry) replied ask for pictures and gave me an estimate that was middle of the road pricing. I believe in the adage of you get what you pay for and Henry has to make a living. I thought I might need a transfer box, but Henry suggested a transfer switch and use my current circuit box. Henry arrived on time and always kept me in the loop of when the equipment and parts would arrive and when he would arrive. He and his assistant quickly installed the equipment and hooked up the generator to run the house. He instructed me on the procedure and what appliances I could run and added a few suggestions on how to save energy using led lights and switching appliances on and off during a power outage. I found Henry to be friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and professional while he worked. He also called back to insure my satisfaction. I have dealt with Arrow Electric since about 2008. Henry Lucero and his son have done a lot of electrical work for me. From construction electrical to solving the electrical problems at my home. Henry, and his son are versatile, knowledgeable electricians and Henry knows the local electric codes by heart. He's trustworthy and will give you a good deal on your electrical work. He also accommodates unusual requests. I bought 2 tankless water heaters for a bathroom that I built, each one required 60 amps to operate. My house was wired for 100 amp service. My shop had 200 amp service. Henry and his son put a main line, underground, from the shop to my bathroom and powered the room with it. They also installed electrical outlets, attached to the rafters, so that prewired fan and light modules could be plugged in when they were installed in the ceiling. I am very impressed with the service I received today. I thought I had a breaker for my GFCI out because I could not get it to work. I called this afternoon. They came out the same day!. After examining my panel, he was very courteous in showing my how I had not reset the breaker correctly. He then serviced my panel. I had been told by another that the panel needed to be replaced, but he said no, just needed the servicing. Saving me a couple of thousand dollars. He noticed my front door bell was not working. He checked the doorbell. The previous owner had sprayed texture in the transformer area making the bell not work. He got it to work. I have been unable to get the front porch light fixture off because it had been painted on. He got that loose. Extremely reasonable price. I will use them again for whatever electric needs I have. Fast friendly and very professional. I called because the alarm guy who came out to fix my alarm that was acting up couldn't fix the problem. The outlet the alarm box was plugged into was fried. Plus the light in the room the alarm box is in kept turning itself on and off at will. It's a motion detector type light switch. I got through to a technician right away- no waiting for a call back. He was on another service call so he asked me to text him my info and he'd get back to me about coming to fix the problem. He called me about a half hour after to let me know he could come out in about 45 minutes to an hour of that was ok with me. I happily said yes. The two technicians showed up less than a half hour later. They were courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. They fixed both the light problem and the outlet issue in less than an hour. When a severe thunderstorm with high winds resulted in falling tree limbs tearing the electric meter from our home late on a Thursday, I left an after-hours message for Arrow Electric. By 9 am on Friday, Henry and Alex had already begun work; 4 pm the damage was completely repaired and even some additional wiring issue with our older home was corrected. This was all done at a reasonable price and in a very professional manner. But Arrow's excellent service did not end there. They went to bat for us with the city regarding the timing of inspection. When Oncor required our electrician to be present when their power lines were reconnected due to the presence of 3 phase lines, Arrow returned (twice). When our 3 phase air conditioner had problems upon restart of the power, they helped troubleshoot that issue. All in all, we highly recommend Arrow Electric. read more

Arrow Electric Services did a great job in explaining everything in detail, and was very patient in answering any question that I might have had. Henry walked me through the process of what I needed to get done prior to them arriving and working on my electricity. He gave me a very fair quote, and took the time to explain the costs associated with each service. I had been struggling to get Oncor to perform a temporary disconnect on my house as they were unable to complete my request as scheduled, but Arrow Electric Services was very accommodating and flexible of their time and was able to get out there to perform their services as soon as the disconnect happened. We had some "can" lighting fixtures in our kitchen that had not worked in some time. We had not used an electrician in this area before but found Arrow on -line and called for an appointment. The electrician arrived on time and found the problem with 2 fixtures very quickly and patiently explained why they were not working and fixed the problem. While examining the third fixture, he found a wiring hazard in a switch - a live wire that was unused and unsecured in the switch box! He repaired the problem in just a few minutes. The electrician was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient and accommodating with our questions. Issues were fixed timely and at a fair price. Henry was awesome! Very professional and you can tell he takes pride in his work by how he talks about it. Not gonna lie; I started what i thought was an easy DIY of replacing some old mechanical switches with new motion sensor switches and I totally screwed it up. Recently my house had an electrical fire in the attic. I have renters but I actually live in another state. Fires are horrible and cause a great deal of work.
