One time he skipped his lunch break just to get me in. That's great customer service. The hygienists are very knowledgeable, gentle, efficient and they educate when needed: never pushy just straight to the point. Overallthe staff is friendly. I highly recommend Rose City Dental. Dr. Tae Lee is very honest: I can't stress that enough. He's also very fast and does really good work. Best dentist I've ever had! He's a really good guy. You won't be disappointed!

I made a new patient appointment for a routine cleaning. I was called back for x-rays 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and then the hygienist made it her only job to ensure that I was a thousand percent COMPLETELY AWARE that I do not have healthy gums and it would therefore be a waste of her time to do a standard cleaning. I have some serious dental anxiety (which was explicitly communicated multiple times before being seen), and I started to cry and asked if we could just do a standard one, since I'd already worked up to coming in today, and she ran out of the room saying, "I'm not comfortable with this." The dentist had already said my teeth weren't that bad, but now you want me to leave and come back AGAIN for a deep clean? No, you people double-booked your appointments and I got stuck in the crossfire. Absolutely garbage patient "care", and now I can't go anywhere else because they billed my insurance for my only covered exam this year. Honestly the worst experience I've ever had.

In fact, I have never had any sort of oral procedure, other than regular teeth cleanings, in my entire life. So when I was brushing my teeth last week, and felt an agonizing, knife-like pain in #30 (as the dentist would later refer to it), I stopped and took stock of things. I hadn't been in for a cleaning since The Before Times (pre-COVID, so we're taking 2019, here). It was time. And so help me God, if I had a cavity now, and my record ruined, I was not going to be happy. My life-long dentist had retired, so on the recommendation of my wife, I went to Sleep Dentistry this time around. She helped book my appointment and got me in a chair in less than seven days. She also recommended getting the nitrous, which sounded pretty great to me. I mean, if it's included, why not, right? Well, turns out I had nothing to worry about. After the always-excruciating process of dental x-rays, where one is forced to clamp their chompers down on a device that feels like the perverse love child of a tire iron and a Rubix Cube, the dentist, Dr. Arlauskus, informed me that my teeth were all healthy, no cavities were present, and that I had merely worn down the dentin on that tooth, which would regenerate naturally over time. Treat it gingerly, and let it heal. True enough, in the days leading up to my appointment, the pain during brushing on that spot had already stopped. Gonna give a shout out to Grace, my dental tech, who was chipper and knowledgeable, and clear in her directions and explanations of the process. While I did not have time to complete a cleaning that day (or receive any nitrous...bah!), she helped schedule me for one in a couple weeks. Also important to note is the current, COVID-compliant check-in process: roll up in your vehicle at your scheduled time, call the provided number, and they'll bring out any paperwork you may need to fill out. Once that is complete and turned in, they will call you back when it is time to enter, and off you go, into the dreaded chair! So yeah, for those of you not blessed with perfect teeth like me, be thankful that they have plenty of laughing gas on hand, in case you need it. And if you don't? Get it anyway. We can all use a good laugh these days, after last year!

Very impressed! Where do I begin…read more I thought about writing about my horrific experience with my previous dental office (Gentle Dental) that led me here, but this is where I want to Praise Dr. Elkhal and his amazing team. Long story short I was told that I needed a tooth extracted and that I needed to have implants in place at the cost of 4k. First they said they could retreat and then later decided it wasn't an option. I needed a second opinion and sought out another dental office. I ended up at Rose City dental. (Highly recommend Rose City as well) They referred me to Endodontics Limited. I had been in a lot of pain and was told that the only way out of my pain was extraction. Dr. Elkhal worked me in same day due to my special circumstances with pain. I noticed the difference immediately. The friendly receptionist who cared about my visit. Not just processing paperwork. The calming environment was a change from other offices I had been to. Dr. Elkhal brought me in and performed an evaluation and agreed that there was an infection but due to incredible swelling and current pain he would recommend to wait until the swelling went down. His evaluation led him to believe that the root canal could indeed be retreated and he wanted to save the tooth. I was prescribed antibiotics and we scheduled. The procedure went extremely well. I have had a few root canals and this one was by far the best. Dr. Elkhal is a true professional. It comes through in his explanation of the process. He explained step by step what we were doing to and why. I have never experienced this level of service from anyone in this industry. I am a Service Manager of an automotive service department and appreciate and recognize what Dr. Elkhal and his staff are providing. If you are in need of a root canal, I highly encourage you to seek out Dr. Elkhal! You will not be disappointed.
