We wanted to replace aging wood shingles with fiber shingles, replace other rotted wood then have the area painted. We also wanted to add some stone work which wasn't Terry's area, but he helped us find someone amazing to do the job. Terry worked closely with the stone mason to coordinate the project. Arrow Building is fantastic! My back wall, which butts up against the canyon, was flaking and needed re-stuccoing. Arrow Building came highly recommended, so I called, and Terry Diamond came to evaluate the job and recommend preserving the wall. Within two days, the project was done. A month later, I noticed some blotches on the wall, so I called Terry again, and he came over that day to reassess the problem. He said that there was effervescent moisture seeping from the canyon. He then sent someone out to put on a highly specialized waterproof sealant, which did the job. One of his dedicated workers spent another two days rectifying the issue without asking for more money. It wasn't something Terry did wrong, but he took it upon himself to make it better. He also paid for the labor and supplies, which amounted to several hundred dollars. Obviously a new roof is a major expense as a home owner. So when multiple roofers say your roof is end of life and or installed improperly it's stressful. We had about 6-7 different companies come out and do estimates. One of my neighbors had great things to say about Arrow Building so we gave them a call. Their price was among the lower end of the different bids so between that and our neighbors recommendation we decided to choose them. Removing the old roof and installing the new roof went very smoothly with no issues. We liked Arrow Building so much I referred them to my next door neighbors and a few friends. Highly recommend them. I later got solar installed and that caused some issues with leaks after they had to drill holes for the mounts. Terry came out and discovered some of the mounts were improperly done, so my solar company had to come out and remount my panels. Definitely give them a call for an estimate. I found them on HomeAdvisor as we have been doing some work on half of the house and I was in need for getting a quote either to stucco the half of the house that we reconstructed or the whole house. I have been also receiving quotes to paint the whole house in parallel so I could determine if I should re-stucco the whole house or just stucco the partial, reconstructed section and paint the whole house. Terry visited my house, saw the project and was to provide a quote. I was waiting patiently and nothing was coming my way. I gave him a call and he didn't remember the project, so I had to explain to him where the project was located etc. I can understand him not remembering everything considering he probably provides quotes to others daily. Once he remembered, he abruptly said: I am not interested and hung up. It was disappointing not only that he didnt have the courtesy to call me and let me know, but also because I was in need of roof installation and other items. There was no explanation why he wouldn't provide an estimate on the job....or rather why he chose not to do the job. I thought it was poor customer service. read more

Fantastic service! Had a water leak on my chimney so decided to call them. They came in next morning and took care of it extremely well. They had to seal the whole chimney since the original coat was cracking and moldy. This service was professional and the quality of work and material was top notch. Terry Diamond and his crew are a pleasure to do business with. The wood siding on our 34 year old house was in very bad condition from weather and rot. The stucco also needed repaired and painted. We hired Arrow Building to replace the wood siding with fiber cement siding panels on three sides of the house. The front of the house was done with fiber cement lap siding for a unique look. The entire house was painted, except for the stucco. That included the roof eaves and fascia. Replaced all the old single pane windows with dual pane low-e glass windows. Inspection of the roof found some problem areas and we decided to replace the entire roof and upgrade the vents. Once the process started we decided to convert one bathroom from a fiberglass tub to a custom built walk in shower. The stucco was patched and repaired and coated with Thermolastic, an elastomeric, high-build, acrylic polymer coating. The house now looks better than a brand new house. Terry Diamond showed up on time for his appointment for a bid to do the work. Arrow Builders starts the work when they say they will start the job. They worked everyday, including some Saturdays to get the work done. Terry Diamond, the owner, was here almost everyday to make sure the proect was going as planned and there were no concerns. The work crew respected the fact thst we have pets they needed to work around. They closed the gate when they left. The cleaned up when they were done. This is a tri-level house and required scaffolding. They worked with scaffolding contractor to ensure we could still open our garage door to take my mother out in here wheel chair. It is the only door that doesn't have steps. read more

(Total coincidence that my name is Terry - there were lots of Terrys around those couple of weeks) All the decks and stairs around our 1980 house were falling apart from termites, dry rot and just general age. We had hired Terry Diamond to rebuild the roof on one deck a couple of years ago and were extremely satisfied with that work. So this job was much bigger. It included demo-ing and removing one set of stairs completely, rebuilding the back deck, demo-ing and replacing both front decks and the stairs that connect them. Then painting the entire house.
