Update with photo"s Misrepresentation, Hidden Damage, and a $30,000 Loss Our experience with ArrKann Trailer & RV Center Rocky View has been nothing short of disastrous. We purchased a CanaDream Inc used motorhome from Eva Moser (Internet Sales Manager) and Brock Simmons (General Sales Manager) in May 2024 after being assured it was "like brand new," fully inspected, and in excellent condition. These statements were blatantly untrue. Brock even refused to supply items promised at the time of sale until we escalated the issue to head office. After driving 800 km to pick up the unit, we immediately discovered multiple issues--followed by more within 24 hours: a torn mattress, missing parts, cracked tires, electrical failures, a leaking hot water tank, and a large stain above the driver's seat that staff dismissed as "soap residue." This stain was later proven to be long-term, undisclosed water damage that ArrKann RV should have known about and that CanaDream Inc., the real owner at the time, had previously documented. None of this was disclosed by ArrKann RV during the sale. We then spent months caught between ArrKann Trailer & Sport Center in Edmonton and CanaDream inc in Delta, BC. We were forced to make 860 km trips for each repair at our own expense, only to face delays, poor workmanship, and incomplete repairs. While the motorhome sat unusable, water began leaking into the front cab--the exact area we questioned on pickup and were told it was soap residue from the detailing guys and that it had "no leaks or previous damage" stated by Eva Moser and Riley, the technician. Later records confirmed prior roof work in all the same locations. ICBC then informed us the motorhome could not be registered because it was still legally registered to CanaDream Inc. ArrKann RV sold us a vehicle they hadn't properly transferred. Repairs done by CanaDream Inc were not industry standard, and we were denied any documentation of the repairs performed. We were told everything was between Jason Granger (CanaDreamn Inc Sales Manager) and Chris Caldwell (VP Customer Experience & Marketing, ArrKann RV). We received no receipts, no repair details, and no transparency. ArrKann RV then Chris Caldwell asked us to sign a release waiving all future claims. We refused. Their urgency to obtain our signature was as telling as alarming. In early 2025, when attempting to trade the motorhome in, the receiving dealer uncovered major structural roof damage, hidden repair work, and long-term water intrusion that both ArrKann RV and CanaDream Inc failed to disclose, even though they were in possession of inspection reports that stated otherwise. This resulted in losses exceeding $30,000 to us personally. When we approached Chris Caldwell to discuss compensation or talk accountability, we were denied. We were told the unit was used and had "no warranty," despite months of misrepresentation, false assurances, and repeated promises that the situation would be made right. If you are considering buying from ArrKann Trailer & Sport Center or CanaDream Inc, proceed with extreme caution. Our experience has been financially devastating, stressful, and deeply disappointing. It appears that used RVs sourced from CanaDream Inc are being flipped quickly with minimal inspection and no transparency. Many promises--no follow-through. We trusted the "family-owned, award-winning" image they promote. Unfortunately, our experience suggests otherwise. None of this was disclosed during the sale. While we were filling the water tank prior to leaving the lot, when we saw the rear tires in the light of day. They were cracked all around the tire side walls and deep into the tread of the tires, initial response was how did those get missed by our inspection and also by CanaDream Inc. as they are an Alberta licensed Government inspection facilities. We have the records of that inspection with the inspectors name and license number. showing all the tires were good? So either the licensed facility is lying on inspections or someone changed out good tires for bad ones between CanaDream Inc and ArrKAnn Rv in Calgary? We were never given an answer just a story and reluctance to replace them! What followed was months of runaround between ArrKann Trailer & Sport Center in Edmonton and CanaDream Inc. in Delta, BC. We were forced to make repeated 860 km trips for repairs at our own expense, only to have those repairs delayed, mishandled, or ignored. They sold us a vehicle they had not properly transferred or legally registered. The repairs eventually completed by CanaDream were not up to industry standard, and none were documented. We recently bought a used RV (not from here) so we have been to a few RV shops in search of parts or accessories. This one is close to home so we have been here a few times. It has a great selection of parts and the staff have always been very helpful. They seem to have a huge selection of trailers on the lot. We haven't looked through their stock of trailers though since we aren't shopping for one. I can attest though this is a great place to look for parts and accessories. There is also an RV storage place close by and a station to fill your propane RV. So if you have those needs you can hit them all up within a small area. read more

Arrkann Trailer & RV Centre - RV Dealers Near Me - Edmonton, Alberta

Arrkann is both hot and cold for service. They almost lost the deal of us purchasing a $36000 travel trailer, because they could't remove the old ball off the truck hitch to replace it with a new ball. They didn't have the right tool. So they wanted to charge us an additional $500 for more hitch parts. So we said that we will drop the sale. Then suddenly, someone came in from their home, with the correct tool, to remove the ball. The sale was completed. When we had troubles with the stove not working, and some other minor warranty work. We dropped of the trailer at Arrkann. When the repairs were done, we packed up the trailer and were almost on the way out for a vacation, when we get this phone call stating that our stove part is now in. We told them that we are on the way out for a trip with our new trailer, and now the stove still doesn't work??? Arrkann said there was miscommunication. So 2 repair men were sent out to our trailer to repair the stove, where we had it parked. Yes we were delayed on our trip, but the stove is now working. Now the trailer has a recall on a gas problem. Phoned Arrkann and asked about the status of the part on the recall, as some time has passed. When I called, I was told that someone would get back to me. I had to phone back again, to ask about the status. I was told that the information was passed to another location, and someone would 'reach out' to me. Why the wait? Why didn't I get told that I would have to wait for this information? Actually, I 'reached out' to Arrkann, twice. We bought the extended warranty on the trailer. After 2 trips on regular highways, the axles were bending. They needed replacement. What? We never over loaded the trailer, or went 4 wheeling with it, yet the axles are bent? So we had to bring it in for replacement. Seems that the extended warranty company didn't want to cover this job, as the trailer manufacturer was to do so. There was much delay on having the repair made. Ends up that Arrkann helped us out with the argument on who pays for the repairs. We ended up paying our $800 first, to then be reimbursed later. Way too many head aches for warranty work that we pay dearly for. And the same type of axles are on the trailer again. Shouldn't these axles been lightly upgraded to prevent another problem? Do we recommend Arrkann? Its very good, and not so good. read more

I bought an RPOD from Arrkann and it had a water problem from the beginning (within a month of my purchase). Since 2015 they have replaced seals to see if the problem persisted, which it did. I have changed seals several times a year in a 4 month camping season and I still get water in the trailer. They have told me that it is a manufacturing issue, the manufacturer says its not their issue, my insurance company UNIfUND says its not their problem......I'm stuck with a trailer that is only 5 years old and has tonnes of water damage. They have told me they think its lack of maintenance and I have maintained that trailer more than anything else. They have done damage to the interior of the trailer due to their negligence and now because we have this difference, refuse to fix their damages and want someone to pay for it. Scott McCaffrey and Terry the manager are your best friends until they need to be and then they turn on you and no longer can help you. Ask yourself why didn't they go to the manufacturer and tell them they had this trailer unit with a constant problem. Laziness, lack of customer service, lack of knoweldgable service techs, no control in the service department, lack of responsibility, .... you name it, it's not their fault. If you buy a trailer from them, expect every service experience to be a nightmare!!!!! DON'T BUY FROM ARKANN!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT. read more

We bought an Rpod from the Edmonton centre and since have had the lock on the door brake, the black water drain line come apart, and due to where we live we have also had difficulties with the low clearance on the Rpod. We have contacted Arrkann multiple times since to try and get things fix and they have ignored up to date. The main issue that we need fixed is the lift kit to allow for more clearance. We have been contacting them for 2 months now and been passed around to 4 people and to date still do not have a lift kit installed. To get one out of the US and installed somewhere else is going to cost us a lot more money. Arrkann has failed with regards to its warranty and customer service with regard to this unit. My wife and I purchased a used small travel trailer from Arrkann Trailer and RV. The unit was at the St. Albert trail location. Our sales person Wayne was great, very personable, very knowledgable and professional. We purchased the trailer and ordered some accessories. The unit was to be delivered at the Sherwood Park location. Trailer was delivered on date and time. The pre delivery was handled, once again very professional, personable and complete. The accessories were all added except the equalizer hitch. The hitch was not the right dimension for the trailer frame and could be installed, by cutting the frame and adding to it, or putting on a hitch that was more money. The upgraded hitch was installed and there was no extra cost. The trailer was great. We were told we had a 66 day warranty and after a rain we discovered there were a couple of leaking windows. We took it in for repair, thinking it was under warranty. We got the estimate of $500 + needless to say we were a little shocked. After a little negations the dealership covered half the cost. I can say with all honesty that Arrkann goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service, from sales and service to the purchase of accessories. This entire experience was as a result of Mr. Neil Fredenberg from Arrkann's Calgary store. Having known Neil for many years, we contacted him and told him what we were looking for. In no time at all he had found the perfect unit. A great big thank you to Neil and the entire staff at Arrkann. Our RV purchase made totally painless. My wife and I have been shopping for an RV for the last couple of years. We had pretty much decided which model and manufacturer we wanted but we were still just shopping prices. That led us here. We wound up meeting a Salesman at the North location and he was great. Lots of good information as he walked us through the the unit and gave us lots of helpful tips. The process they use is to get everybody basically to the South Side location for the actual sale. There we ran into numerous extremely helpful people. From the other salesman who helped us, to the parts people, to the final sales person, and especially the tech that walked us through the trailer on the final sale day, we had nothing but great experiences. Everyone gave us all the time we needed. We found the people extremely knowledgeable and most of them were RV experienced. No-one pushed us to buy but they did provide helpful info when we asked questions. At the end of the day having laid out the cash for the new RV we find ourselves to be extremely satisfied with our dealings with this company. Additionally we found that the price was competitive to what we had been searching through throughout pretty much all of Alberta. read more

After reading reviews before choosing a dealership I was confident with Arrkann despite some negative reviews. WELL after just only 4 months of owing our trailer we had to bring it into the service shop. We have full extended warranty and not to mention one year warranty. While camping and putting down the stabilizers on our trailer the two on the front collapsed on us!!!! Once we got home we called them and let them know we were bringing the camper in because two stabilizers had collapsed on us while camping. We dropped the camper off and they took some pictures before we left. Two hours later they called and said the repairs would not be covered under warranty because they believe "it was caused due to human error." I am not sure how they came to this assumption other than them saying it "looked like it looks like it from the pictures." Well for one the two jacks had been removed because due to them collapsing they had to be removed before driving home. So again no explanation how it was human error. The only thing we did was adjust the stabilizers. If they weren't meant to be adjusted there would not be an option to do so! BUT they so graciously offered to eat up labor costs and charge us just $315. Again someone please remind me why I have paid for extended warranty if the first thing that breaks they try and blame you and then charge you for it!!!!! I bought a brand new 2009 33 ft Surveyor from Arrkan trailer. CD player never worked from new. Returned it just prior to parking it for fall. Next spring CD player wouldn't work. They refused to fix it when it never worked from new. Paid 32,000 for the trailer and they won't warranty a 200 dollar CD player that has never worked from new. Linoleum floor cracked as well and needed repair, no warranty, another $1000. Lousy service as well as lousy customer service. Avoid this dealer like the plague. I have never seen any business run as brutal as this dealer in my lifetime. read more
