I lived there for a year. The apartments are nice, modern & easy to care for. Staff is friendly & responsive. The gym is great. They have garage parking - but it is way over priced - so I refused to do that! Moving in & out is a huge pain - since it's a large secure building - with no good place to park a moving truck - except illegally on the street. Then you get yelled at if you prop the doors open. They will overcharge you for moving out expenses - so make sure to clean everything really well. I left my place spotless & they still took all but $65 of my deposit. The neighborhood is not great since there are so many apartments crammed in such a small area - but I never felt unsafe. read more

Customer service: Customer service was awesome. I was moving out and got there in the nick of time on my move in date. Had papers signed in five minutes. I haven't had serious any issues. They have been more than accommodating to me. If they are available, they will help you. If they don't have time, then they'll get back to you. If you made an appointment before getting a hold of them, they would honor it. I don't usually email, I go talk to them. Price: Awesome. I was living in Issaquah Highlands. 1550 sq ft for $2300 (built in 2012) near the new developments. At Array, I was locked in under $1200 for about 900 sq ft. For Seattle area, it is usually around $1500-$1600. I wish I could have got locked in for 13 months instead of 10. Amenities: Lounge w/ wifi, outside BBQ area, gym (with yoga area), private parking, private building, elevators, and allows dogs :D Space: Great. Stainless steel appliances, granite tables, washer/dryer (in bathroom), and optional balconies. It does get hot in the summer. 50 outside is 75 inside, 70 outside is 85 inside, and 90 outside is 100 inside. I paid $150 for a standing AC that seems to work for me. It covers living room, den, and bedroom. I close the BR door because it's usually cool in there. I'm floating at about 80. This place is perfect for college students or workaholics like me. Parking: Parking sucks. It's Seattle, don't act surprised. It is barely better than the Bay in CA. I highly recommend getting a parking spot in the garage. If you don't want one, you can park on the street most of the day. If you have never lived in a city, let me tell you about common sense. Don't leave valuables in your car in plain site. That includes jewelry, laptops/computers, textbooks, television, stereo systems, gaming consoles with 20+ games, or pill bottles. Get a car alarm with a blinking light. Car thieves don't like them. I haven't had my car broke into, but I've never given criminals a reason to. Move: It was kind of hard to move in. Tip: get there at 5 PM and get a spot right outside the entrance. I had to lug stuff across the street at like 1 AM. Bring a hand truck because I forgot mine. Commute: The commute is meh. I work in Bellevue, it usually takes about 45 minutes to get to/from work taking the north through Kenmore, but I leave early. If you leave late, you're looking at 90 minutes if you leave at 5 PM. My friend leaves at about 7:30 but takes the bridge, and it takes him about the same amount of time. There is a few bus stops not far from the building if you take it. I would imagine a Seattle downtown commute would be about 30 minutes. Area: 7-11, Walgreen's, Nasai Teriyaki, Starbucks, Heaven Sent Chicken, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Brown Bear Carwash are across the street. Fred Meyer, QFC, and Lake Forest Park Town Centre are 5-minute drives. Costco is over in Shoreline off of Aurora, 15 minute drive. Northgate Mall is about 10 minutes away. There are also car dealers, repair shops, and tinting within 2 blocks. I wish there was a 24 hour grocery store and multimedia outlet (books, games, music, and movies) shop nearby. There is a book store at the Town Centre. Crime: Have I seen sketchy people around? Yes. But I also saw sketchy people in Issaquah. It is safer than Cap Hill, Downtown, International District, U district, West Woodland, or even most of Seattle. Great place, Great staff, and convenient to everything. We have lived here for a little over 2 months and the place is everything we had hoped for. Well insulated so that it is very quiet. Never here the neighbors beside us or above us. The courtyard is beautiful and the fitness center is huge and has great equipment. When my husband and I were engaged, we looked at a LOT of places to call our first home. As soon as we looked at Array, we knew it was the right place. The people in the office are nice and friendly (I LOVE Tara especially). Here's what I love about Array: - The appliances are pretty great. Not top of the line, but not terrible either. - The fixtures are pretty nice! One of my best friends is an interior designer and commented on the brands. She said they were brands she puts in pretty nice homes. - I hardly EVER hear anything from my neighbors. We live on the top floor. Walking down the hall I can hear someone playing music or watching a movie, but once I step inside my unit it is dead quiet. - They let you hang things up the walls. It can't be super heavy, which is understandable. - Maintenance does a good job, but I haven't really had to call them for much. - Management is easy to talk to about your concerns. - The lobby and community areas are just as nice as the units! I can't tell you the number of places I looked at that had really nice community areas and sub-par units. - They allow animals! We don't have any but the rates look pretty reasonable. - Monthly rates are pretty reasonable for how nice everything is - The gym is pretty large for an apartment. They don't have all of the equipment I like to use but you can put in a pretty good workout with the equipment they have. What I don't love: - parking for guests is a little bit tricky - We aren't allowed to use the stairs to go up unless the elevator is being worked on or the fire alarm goes off. - The elevator is sloooooooow during the evening when people are getting home from work. - Parking in the garage is a bit steep for the per month price. They have a a nice security system and a appropriate space that I enjoyed in my Rome with my wife amd my baby. I moved to Seattle about a year and a half ago i lived in the central district and it was expensive and really unsafe. I feel a lot more comfortable here and the rent is very reasonable. The building has great amenities and the units are solid. Overall you get the most bang for your buck. I just moved to the array apartments a few days ago. Moving is very stressful but the management team and staff here have been so wonderful and helpful and have made my move so much easier! I love the area. It's easy to get anywhere within minutes. The university, downtown, an off leash dog park, and several grocery stores as well. Nice appliances, but the apartment is smaller than what I've had in the past. The parking is expensive, and a joke. Several times I've had my parking blocked, by "illegal" parking, or was unable to get into my car, and I drive an small car. Not sure, if I'll renew my lease. read more

1. I lived in Array Apartment east building on the fifth floor for 17 months. Since the facility is new, appliances in the apartment are great. If you are renting the apartment on the street side be prepared to tolerate the irritating noise from the vehicles on the street (all night even if you close the window all times). 2. The conservice (water, sewage, garbage) bill is too high, I had never paid less than $145 per month for a single bedroom apartment. 3. garage parking is an exceptional example, you gotta pay $95 per month. I had to back the car couple of time to fit my COROLLA (some times) in my parking spot. If you have a bigger vehicle, I urge you to park your car on the garage before deciding to lease the apartment. 4. In the last week of june 2015, I was completely moved out and I was told by the management that they would have to calculate the final bill and would send it to me shortly . I kept checking my mailbox for the statement but did not get it. All of sudden, I got a phone call from the collection agency early in the morning one day that ruined my day. they charged me over $ 750 for the cleaning and painting and utilities. I know, I lived there for 17 months but did not notice anything obviously requiring repair. When I called them back and told them that I have been paying the utility bills for two more cycles after I moved out, they agreed to give me some credit but no apologies. The third-party company was rude and charged interest which is ridiculous. 5. Before you sign a lease and move in be aware The neighborhood is riddled with drug addicts, and gang activity! 6. the staffs with some exception are not helpful. Don't move here!!! The management absolutely SUCKS!!!! I had a family emergency and unfortunately had to break my lease. I reached out to the office to break my lease and got one response. A week later I reached out again to see what I need to do an nobody responded. I finally got them to talk to me a few days before move out and they tried telling me I never notified them of this and that I wouldn't be able to move out. I sent them the email that they responded to and they miraculously "remembered". They then closed my portal so I wasn't able to pay my lease break fee after they told me I was able to pay through the portal. They called me and said if I didn't pay it that day via cashiers check (they called me at 3 pm on a Saturday) that I wouldn't be able to move out until the following month and would need to continue to pay their overpriced rent until March. THEN i could pay the lease break fee. Well the banks were closed and I wasn't able to do this. POOR POOR communication. Now they're telling me I have to pay to clean the carpets and re paint the entire apartment. Not to mention the ladies working here are so so rude. Nobody was nice during this process and understanding of the fact that this is wasn't easy for me. Don't live here unless you want to literally be trapped. read more

I thought it was cool at first but shared utilities are bad my water bill was almost 200$ also the building is not secure the back gate doesnt even have a lock the management also accused me of lots things I didn't do. There lots of shootings at the park behind the array. Also they claim you can't use any doors except front and main back gate because they are only emergency exits even though they are not marked as such. I have also good reason to believe a member of their staff stole from me as well Con Am management which runs this place also has a lot of very poor reviews if you don't believe me talk to other residents they can sometimes be at the paek but only during the day they do not come out at night. The only bright spot at the array is Tara everyone who lives there loves her lol anyway don't live here also don't deal with Con Am they are all terrible except Tara shes cool. They also charge you for a parking space even if you don't have a car. read more

At first glance this place is a real gem the amenities are nice and the location is pretty good as well, HOWEVER, I must say I am a bit shocked by the price tag, I will have to agree with Karl that this place is a touch over priced, I know, I live in a one bedroom on northeast Roosevelt way My location is literally six blocks from the mall and that only costs me 875.00 plus an additional sixty five dollars for my controlled access garage spot, oh and the place I live in also has restricted access. The only reason I even want to move is for more space and if my current complex had it I would go for it in a heart beat, The plain truth is that These units are over priced regardless of having new appliances and a fresh coat of paint. My advice for you other apartment seekers out there is to give the area a good look before you get suckered into paying about three to four hundred more than you should a unit. read more

When I first moved in I was so excited about the idea of moving into a brand new complex. I was surprised at the price and the size of the apartment itself but needed a place asap due to a fast move. I moved to a one bedroom/one bathroom spot and was not prepared for the living conditions. My floor filled up very fast, which I was pretty excited about, but noticed there were very large families moving onto my floor. When I recieved my first water bill it was for 10.00. My second jumped up to 160.00. I thought surely me alone living in a one bedroom/one bathroom apartment did not use this much water. Each month fluctuated between 150.00 and 160.00 a month for water and sewage. I was confused because my brother, who lived up the street in a three story flat with three bedrooms/three bathrooms, paid 120.00 every two months. I searched through my contract and realized I was paying an average for everyone on my floor. This was not explained to me. So in other words, I was paying 160.00 a month in water, the same as a six person family down the hall. As much as it pained me and was difficult to pay this, I figured it was my own fault for not going through the contract with a fine tooth comb. The Array has a beautiful gym inside which is included in the price of the apartment. I took full advantage of this. The problem there was that when I would come home in the evenings from work and head out to the gym, there were times when several of the male tenants would sit in a circle in the gym and drink tea together. There were other times when I couldn't workout right away because some of them were having their time of prayer right there in the middle of the gym! I did notice a letter sent out to all of the apartments to tell people not to use the gym for those purposes, but this did not change and it seemed liked no further action was taken. This continued to happen up until I left. A huge concern I had was when a letter was sent out telling people they could not run their dishwashers, do laundry, or shower after 10:00 pm. This was extremely hard for people like me who did have to work late hours and would sometimes have to travel. My time to do that was in the evenings and although I tried to get it done before 10:00 pm, sometimes this was not possible. I figured if I was paying just under 1300.00 for a one bedroom apartment plus 160.00 a month in water, surely I could wash my clothes when I felt like it. Something came up and I was having to move out of state, so I had to break my lease. I was prepared to pay a fee because of that I just didn't realize it was going to cost me an arm and a leg to move out of there. I presented my request in writing within the required timeframe. I spoke to a young male at the time who worked there and when I handed him my letter I asked him to verify that it was in the allotted timeframe and he confirmed it was. He then told me VERY bluntly that he "needed the money now". I told him the contract states that i have 10 days from the date of my letter to gather the funds. All he said was, "oh ok". I gave them a check for 3600.00 and even paid my floor's water bill right before I moved. When my movers moved me, my father and I walked the apartment to make sure everything was cleaned and in good order. I went down to the office and asked for someone to come up and review my apartment. I was told that they would do that after I left. I wanted to make sure they saw what I saw. She said, no worries, everything will be fine. When I first got there I gave a 400.00 deposit. 200.00 of which was supposed to be refunded. They never offered this. The move out letter they gave me states that if I owed anymore on the following months water bill they would use the 200.00 refundable dollars to pay this fee. As it so happens, I recieved a letter from Array stating that they had to deep clean my home, repaint, and that there were holes all in my walls and that I still owed them for cleaning my apartment and a 95.00 water bill. The letter also states that I did not give adequate noticed. This aggrevated me. I then recieved a phone call from a bill collector followed by nasty letters from the bill collector. I contacted Array to find out what happened to the 400.00 deposit I assumed they would use for any cleaning they had to do, and they informed me that they had to use the 200.00 refundable dollars for that. When I asked about the other 200.00 they could not give me an answer. So, to get the creditors off of my back, I had to pay another 214.00. But this did not help, because they are still calling. Aside from a couple of the staff members who always seemed to be friendly, I would never recommend this apartment. I wasted so much money here that I will never see again. I'm not one for putting reviews out there but I think people do need to see how things are ran there to make there own decisions before getting sucked into debt. read more

I left feeling a lot better than when I went in. And I just met one of the new maintenance guys, Gilbert. He is a really good person and I'm really happy with their response time. My spouse and I have lived in this apartment building for 2.5 years. We started in a 1-bedroom w/ den and moved into a 2-bedroom when we our daughter arrived (the staff was very helpful and accommodating with the transition). We appreciate the layout of the units and the common spaces, convenience of location, and cleanliness of the apartments, overall. Most of all, the office staff treat residents well; they are attentive, prompt, and professional. Any time I have emailed Joanne, Ryan, or Tara, they promptly respond and address the issue. We also love the tiny park across the street from the apartment -- it's small, but does the job for a toddler in need of activity. We like the diversity of the neighborhood and there are great local restaurants that deliver too, for busy evenings when take out is called for. read more

I have realized how quiet it is considering its location along the busy Lake City Way. I must say I have been correct locating this apartment over others along the same street. Besides it is recently constructed building with contemporary look and interior design that add to my taste of what a modern city living space should look like. We lived here for a year, the office staff is fantastic (Seriously Tara and Ryan are the best!). Maintenance staff (especially Stacy) are awesome, any issue we ever had was taken care of by the next day, really enjoyed living there. Unfortunately when we went to renew the price went up by over $200 a month, so we ended up moving out because of the price.
