A friend of mine told me about this guy. Arquettes Lock and Key. Should have went with my gut. My situation was my mom has a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder with two keyless key fobs. Both used to have worked until I took the battery out of one to change it. Did 3 hours of research only to find that they can only be programmed by a technician for this particular year model. But a friend of mine insisted that his friend could program them. So 1 key fob Works 1 key fob doesn't, everything else in the vehicle works fine except for a door handle that I broke that's not electrical. Just a mechanical plastic piece. So everything worked except for that one key fob. Guy shows up, dicks around for about an hour and a half, 2 hours, and then tells me that he can't fix it that its probably my computer. And at that point I could tell by his voice and look in his eyes that something was up. He said he couldn't do anything because it was the computer. But he did ask for gas money. I figured that was reasonable so I gave him 20 in cash. An hour or so later I go to try to lower the back tailgate and close the trunk only to find that it does not work. It does not work by using the rear button or the driver side cab button. Nor the key fob that did work. In fact the key fob that did work doesn't work anymore. So I had my friend call him so I can explain the situation asking that he only fix what he messed up simple as that. And he goes on to tell me that none of this was his fault. That it was my computer in the Pathfinder. The computer is why the tailgate and neither key fob works. And I tried to explain to the obviously slow minded individual that one key fob did work perfectly fine so did the tailgate until he messed with it. And all I wanted was him to undo whatever the hell he did. Make it right. It's not too much to ask. In fact, a man with integrity would. But that seems to be a rare thing nowadays. So he shucked responsibility, saying it wasn't his fault. Saying it is the computer, and I'm pretty sure it is now after he messed it up. And I have to fit the bill for it. Very unprofessional, very dishonest, very unreliable, and incompetent, cowardly. The man looked me in my eyes and talk about integrity before he left. So obviously he has no problem looking a man in the eye and lying. Don't let this person work on your vehicle nor in your house at that. read more
