After confirming, she went about her business, and five to ten minutes, I was out the door. As I walked to my car, I couldn't help feeling that I had been given the "bums' rush". The next morning, following a shower, I had a difficult time getting my hair to cooperate with my brush. The haircut was pretty bad. I went onto Great Clips web site and sent them a message describing my visit and my opinion of the haircut I had received. They answered rapidly, indicating their concern, and advising me that someone from the store would be in contact with me shortly. After an acceptable delay, the store's general manager contacted me and offered to have me back immediately to have the damage fixed. Additionally, I was offered 3 free haircuts and a complimentary bottle of shampoo. My initial reaction to the offer was one of surprise. I thought it was quite generous. Since my hair was already as short as I wanted it, I asked if I could let it grow out and return at a future date. The GM answered in the affirmative, and told me the information regarding the free haircuts and shampoo would be put on my file. I returned to the store in the beginning of November, when a different stylist confirmed my on-line reservation, sat me sown, cut my hair (well done), then proceeded to charge me for the service. I didn't want to get into a discussion in the store over a free haircut (never mind a complimentary bottle of shampoo). When I returned home, I emailed the GM, described the follow-up visit (including the fact that the information about the free haircuts etc. was not put into my file), expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of follow-up, and asked how we proceed. It's now the end of November and I'm still waiting. It's bad enough to get a poor result from a hair stylist (barber) and to be left with the feeling (as you exit the store), that your hair was cut in the most impersonal way possible (a fast clipper based shearing with virtually no conversation). Having the person in charge offer an apology as well as future compensation in the form of free services and product, and then to fumble the offer, really exacerbates an already bad situation. Based on this experience, I would offer Great Clips a single star, since the review process does not offer a "no stars" option

My wife made an appointment for my kid to get his haircut. The app said 60 minutes. They arrived…read moreafter 60 minutes and there was still a wait, so she checked the app again... 67 minutes. She took the kids to get lunch and came back after about another hour, it said 15 minutes, so they waited. While waiting an employee was able to explain to them that the time was increasing because people who had not shown up for their earlier appointments were now arriving and they were honoring the appointments (that people had missed, and my family was on time). The 15 minutes went back up as 3 old appointment people arrived. She took the kids to the grocery store, and returned, 20 minutes. They decided to just stand there and wait the 20 minutes... just as the time was running down and they were about to be called, another old appointment walked in and she was told it would be another 15 minutes. They left. Completely ridiculous. I get wanting to honour these appointments for people who made them, but if those people are really showing up so late, then don't make the people who are on time suffer for it. In the end, my family waited more than two and a half hours and never ended up getting a haircut. Never again.

If I could give a -10 I would! I am so sad and so incredibly disappointed!! It is less than a week…read morebefore my 1 year wedding anniversary and a few days before professional pictures. I haven't had my eyebrows waxed in years because they are usually just fine on their own. But I wanted it to have a tiny bit more curve. I knew exactly which two very small areas needed to be waxed for that to happen and asked for that when I made the appointment. And also re-told them when I was there seconds before the wax even touched my skin. I wanted the ends completely left alone because they were already pretty thin by themselves. The middle between my eyebrows was no hair, hardly ANY peach fuzz at all. Well, it was the middle and the ends that got waxed and now I have TWO LINES straight across and down rather than a beautiful arch. /-- --\ they look like this!!!! I'm so upset. Then, also, I was being stared at while using my debit card and I felt like I HAD to give a tip. I gave the lowest amount on the screen but didn't even want to pay anything because it was 100% opposite of what I asked for. I will never again trust someone to do what I am wanting done when I can just do it myself. This is ridiculous.

I recently went to Wiink2 for a cut and colour. I decided to go from a mousey brunette (with many…read moregrays!) to a bodacious blonde. Erin May, the stylist, was amazing and spent so much time making sure the colour turned out just right. After a few hours in the chair I came out with the most amazing cut and colour and couldn't be happier. The salon is quiet and relaxed and all the stylists were kind and lovely. Can't recommend them enough.
