When we came across Silver Spoon and spoke to the owner Jeanine, I knew we wanted to use their service for our special day. She was kind and comforting on the phone while being the upmost professional. Not to mention how many emails we exchanged (large part from myself being a bride) just made the experience leading up to the big day that much more appreciated. As for the food everything was wonderful we did a menu more like a bbq and added lobster rolls to the mix (I love lobster & husband loves bbq) but the number one thing on their menu that I still crave is their jalapeño honey butter corn bread! Seriously need to try it if you can. The Team! I cannot say enough about the team they were so sweet and so accommodating, flexible and just made you really feel like we hired the right people to do the right job. I am in the customer service industry and I was beyond pleased with each and every one of them. We hired a Bartender, two wait staff and a chef all of them have the best personalities and just made you feel the way you need to at your wedding. Jeanine - one thing to never let go of is your team with how wonderful the food was they really took the cake on presenting your company and services on a very special day. All in all I would book Silver Spoon for any event small or large in the future without hesitation!

No creamy lusciousness. No herby clammy umami. They sell clam juice. They should use it. I bought it, tasted it, added everything I could think of to make it taste like something but nada. Didn't mention It's watery? Zero clam taste? There are clams for sure, but I doubt they are fresh. Ps I hate potatoes in my soup. It's a cheap lazy way to add bulk, but red potatoes??? After tasting it, I was so mad that I thought to go back and nicely tell them to stop cutting corners as this will only lead to the closure of yet another failed biz, but instead I threw it out. These owners own a few places out here. Why would u mess with tried and true recipes? You have to spend money to make money. Sell less junk! By the end of the meal we were all doing butter shots! Thank you Stuart's for a fab experience.

I was trying to find a way to go there without having to drive so far just for food. I live an hour away from them, so the travel time is what makes going there a deal breaker consistently. It's worth going to East Hampton generally, but it should be a day thing. Not just to go eat. The person who helped us was very knowledgable and asked good questions in terms of what you'd like for your platter. The food was top quality. Our platters were worth every bit of that gift certificate and I'd love to come around this place again! I also had to buy their sauce on the way back home because we use it for some dinners. My only critiques is regarding the mac and cheese. I wish it was more of a homemade baked mac and cheese with the toasted top. But definitely good mac and cheese nonetheless. The mashed sweet potatoes were definitely too seasoned with all spice. It gave it too much of a kick than I was expecting. I liked the seating inside and outside. If we didn't have bad allergies, would've probably sat outside and enjoyed our meal. Also, this place has their own parking area. So that's definitely a plus!

I got ribs, brisket, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. I also got an order of the little gem salad. The ribs were some of the best I've had in years. Very juicy, excellent smoky flavor. Tender, perfectly cooked. Brisket was okay when it was warm, but after cooling off a little bit, it got very dry. I'm not a big fan of brisket in general because of how dry and hard the texture can get, but this is okay while fresh. The BBQ sauce on the side helped, but I probably wouldn't get it again here. The BBQ chicken was the most disappointing - just shredded chicken smothered in a ton of sauce. It was very dry, like sticks of matches drowning in sauce. Mashed potatoes were very buttery and delicious, but also retained some chunkiness and skin too, which I really liked. Very flavorful and decadent. Mac and cheese was very good as well, but not the toasty top kind. Still very cheesy and good, like they used real cheese. Cornbread was a surprise hit - very moist and soft, denser than most cornbreads, and a lot sweeter than most cornbreads I've had at BBQ places. It tasted more like a dessert corn cake, which I didn't mind at all. The little gem salad tasted very fresh. Dressing was just okay, and the salmon we got on top was very stinky and did not taste fresh. The skin had a nice crunch to it though. I wish the fish had been fresher. The greens were great, so I might just get it with chicken next time, or something else if they would allow that. Overall, really great food! I would definitely go back here again. It's been a while since I've been to a BBQ place that has really good smokey char flavor without tasting burnt, while still retaining juiciness (in the ribs anyway). I'd highly recommend the ribs, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, salad, and cornbread. I want to try some other items as well. Very friendly service too.

They were helpful, responsive, and everything was clear and upfront. There were no surprise charges, or "gotchas". In fact they did several things beyond the scope of the contract without additional charges. More importantly, on the wedding day everything went perfectly. They gave us great advice on the set up of the tables, chairs, bar etc. They listened carefully to everything that was asked of them, made a couple of outstanding suggestions and dealt with the problems caused by strong gusts of wind at an outdoor venue with calm assurance. All of the food was incredible. The hor's d'ourves were fantastic, especially the brie and artichoke tarts, mini lobster rolls and tuna tacos. The mac and cheese in mini ramekins were also a huge hit. The dinners were equally delicious. I had the half chicken, which was served with a delicious polenta. It was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, moist with a crispy skin. Other sides were served family style and were all fantastic. The dessert was also superb. Each guest received a trio of mini desserts, each of which was delightful. We had several guests with food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free). The servers made sure the restrictions were observed, and they made it a point to bring appropriate appetizers to those guests, which was a very nice touch. All of the guests raved about the food. The service was also first class. There were so many servers handling the passed hor's d'ourves that every guest had multiple chances to try each of the offerings. Service of the dinner was equally impressive. The venue is outdoors, and it is a bit of a hike from the kitchen tent to the dining area. Despite that, the guests were served quickly, and the food came to the table still hot. Finally, their prices are quite reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and service. A very good value.

We were deciding between a few caterers and had a tasting with the Perry's that just sealed the deal. My (now) husband and I walked out of there saying it felt like we just had lunch with our aunt & uncle, it felt like we had known them that long! They are two amazingly warm people -- of course it helps that John is incredibly organized and good at his job and that Nikki makes the most delicious bites. We devoured every little last bite at that tasting.. Nothing went to waste! John was so helpful with everything leading up to the day of as well, from picking out rentals, to working out our timeline. We decided to have a different format (cocktail stations as opposed to a formal sit-down dinner) and working together, John helped us make sure we'd have a smooth flow and that everything would go off without a hitch. As we were working out the details with the rentals, I never felt like he was pushing me one way or the other -- even when he put together the list of kitchen items they'd need (my venue did not provide any set-up), I knew he was being careful about not over-ordering. I really felt like he had my best interests in mind at all times. Having him to coordinate all the details made me feel at ease.. I knew I was in good hands! On our actual wedding day, we were so well taken care of. The staff made sure we were eating (haha, doesn't always happen at weddings!) and everything ran so smoothly. Later in the evening, a very traumatic family emergency happened during the reception that put a frightening pause on the celebration. John was a rock and I really felt like I looked to him for the "What now?" John & Nikki were different from some of our other vendors with whom we'll probably not be in touch again. I feel like we'll be sending John & Nikki Christmas cards for years to come.. :) They embraced us and made us feel like family, and I'm certain they will you too.
