Absolutely top-tier service I worked with this company on a house project in Hollywood and I can't recommend them enough. from the very first consultation they were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. What stood out the most was how house solution oriented they were. they didn't just follow the typical playbook, they took the time to understand the specifics of the property and proposed smarter more efficient options that ended up saving me a significant amount of money without cutting any corners on quality or safety. Every step of the way the communication was clear, the timelines were realistic, and the work was done with precision. It's rare to find a team that combines technical expertise with this level of integrity and client care. if you're doing any type of structural work especially in LA, I highly recommend giving them a call. Good total pros read more

I called Aronian structural engineering company with a concern about my property, fully expecting to schedule a paid visit or consultation. Instead, the engineer I spoke with took the time to really listen, ask the right questions, and--here's the amazing part--honestly told me that the issue I was worried about didn't need structural intervention. They easily could've told me otherwise, scheduled a visit, and charged me for unnecessary work. But they chose honesty and professionalism over a quick buck, and that kind of integrity is rare these days. If you're looking for a structural engineer who actually cares about doing right by people, this is the company you want to call. Highly recommend. read more

As a developer, I have worked with several structural engineering firms and I'll have to say working with Aronian has been the easiest, most productive and stress free experience in my years of development. I hardly write reviews and I'm pretty sure this might be my first, but I'd say well deserved review and cannot speak highly enough about Aronian Structural. Eilan is very knowledgeable, detailed and thorough with his work and his approach to design is very collaborative which I appreciate. He listens to your ideas and figures out the most effective way to achieve your vision in the most structurally proficient and budget sensitive manner. He is cognizant of real life site conditions at every project and not just designing from a theoretical standpoint and always achieves stellar results that pass plan checks and inspections expeditiously and hitch free. I see many more projects in the future working with Aronian. AAA+ and highly recommended. read more

Eilan was fabulous. Wish we had found him earlier. I'm always anxious every time I see new cracks at our house. He eased my concerns, describing why they were occurring and not to worry. Also double checked some other engineering we recently had. Really nice guy, showed up on time and quick to answer by phone. read more

Professional, responsive, and fair in his pricing. His site visit had real value unlike some so called professionals we encountered before. Eilan measured everything, looked at every possible feature affecting the structure, and took us through several available options. Then, created the structural drawings ahead of schedule. Also, what's very important to me, Eilan always picks up his phone and answers emails in a timely manner. Good communication matters! Recommended to any homeowner looking for a professional for their structural needs. read more

I called Eilan to get a quote for structural plans for a small ADU project and he immediately kept cutting me off as I was speaking and asked me to send him plans. So I emailed him the plans with a narrative of what we want to do. He called back to get more clarity and as I was explaining he continued to cut me off before I could even complete a sentence, then he hung up the phone. I have built many of my projects and always look forward to working with a variety of professionals however I did not expect to speak to such a rude and unprofessional person. I called because of some good reviews here but perhaps they are not real. I cannot imagine how someone can be so arrogant and entitled. Hopefully he learns and changes his attitude for his own good. read more

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Elian for any structural engineering needs. We worked with him to get a second opinion on the house that we were in escrow for. From the very beginning, he was extremely informative and was able to break down very technical concepts into layman's terms. He is professional, responsive, reliable, and clearly knows his stuff. I cannot recommend him more--he is the best. read more

It was pleasure working with Eilan. We were in a real pinch for time in a project LADBS kept in asking for revisions. I found Eilan and while all the other engineers I called quoted turn around in weeks and thousands of dollars, he came to our office, discussed the project and had it back to us in a day for under a thousand. When the City asked for another revision he again was available the minute I called and we got the drawings back in the next day. The project got permitted today and this would not have happened without Eilan help and skills. Many thanks and I would highly recommend him for professionalism and time of project delivery. read more

Eilan is super responsive, highly knowledgeable and very professional. We hired Eilan to help us get our structural permits passed through the city of Beverly Hills. I would highly recommend using him!!!! read more

The apt building I manage had to have a new guardrail built. I had no idea how to proceed. I called a few engineers and they all seemed disinterested in doing the job. Luckily I got a hold of Eilan who enjoys doing the 'little jobs.' Thank goodness he does! Eilan walked me through the entire process and created great designs. It turned out that I needed help from an architect as well which luckily was a good friend of Eilan's. After a few trips downtown I got approval to commence construction. There were many inspections required by the city and Eilan was always ready to assist. He also helped the contractor choose the appropriate material as well. The walkway finally got built after a year and I know for sure it would have taken longer if Eilan hadn't been there from the beginning. He is very kind, patient and extremely knowledgable of his craft. read more

Aronian Structural was so helpful in guiding us through the process of removing a load bearing wall in our home. We took on the project ourselves so had a million beginner questions but Eilan was patient the whole way through and even came to the house to make a minor alteration to the structural drawings. Highly recommend. Very professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and easy to contact. 5 stars!! read more

Eilan was referred to us by our architect. His pricing was extremely fair and competitive and his work was top notch. Our project is based in Ventura county, and we were told that we only needed to revise one minor thing on our plans. That was so impressive to us and after we got our approval, we were so relieved to know that we have Eilan on our side. I would definitely refer him to our friends and family! read more

Needed to find a structural engineer for an addition to our house and called around. Most of the other companies I spoke with were either not around (left messages) or our job was way too small. I spoke to Eilan gave on the phone Friday mid day. He sent a quote within minutes and we signed the contract on Sunday. He delivered the final deliverable way ahead of schedule and was available for questions. He's smart, very responsive, price is fair and extremely helpful. Hopefully I will not need another structural engineer again soon but if I do I have "the guy". read more

I needed a balcony on my house to have its support redone. Inspectors told me the balcony was leaning down and we needed an engineer to design new support beams in addition to pushing it up. Eilan Aronian was the right choice - he came in and provided plans for my building to proceed as soon as possible. He was really helpful when we needed modifications to the plans as well. Would definitely highly recommend. read more

Let me start by saying that I'm usually not one to write a yelp review but in this case I feel that I have to. From start to finish Eilan was incredibly professional, patient and really took the time to understand our project and wants. Picking up where our DEADBEAT contractor abandoned us, Eilan helped pick up he pieces and bring our room addition to a beautiful completion. Really could not recommend him enough, my wife and I are beyond words. You rock man! read more

I contacted Eilan Aronian for a free consultation to review some plans another Engineer did for us. As we spoke to Eilan, he said that the original Engineer over designed this project and he could greatly reduce the construction costs if he did the designs. We decided to eat the original cost of the first Engineer's design and hire Eilan Aronian to re-do the structural plans. After we showed the new plans to our contractor, the contractor told us our construction costs went down by over 40%. We just wanted to show our appreciation for the time you spent with us and the amount of money you saved us.... we'll see you on the next project ! read more

I found Aronian Structural Engineering & Design on Yelp looking for a seasoned and honest engineer to help with my project. Initially, I spoke with a number of firms but wasn't impressed. Aronian is an outstanding company and very professional. I needed to get a structural engineer to help with some work on a balcony repair and not only was Eilan great to engage initially, he also was extremely on it in terms of timeliness, understanding of what was needed, and amazing turnaround on design docs & forms. I'm absolutely a customer for life after having worked with Aronian and look forward to engaging again soon once our next project comes up! I'd recommend to anyone needing help with securing permits, working with city on approvals, etc. read more

I had a simple question about which walls in my kitchen were load-bearing and which could be removed without additional engineering. This is a single story structure, so not a difficult issue. I called several structural engineers to get an answer to this question. They wanted to charge me as much as $1500 to answer my query. Eilan just asked me to send him some photos of my attic and answered my question as a courtesy! Yes! read more

I found Aronian Structural Engineering via Yelp. I had found a handful of other engineers beforehand but they were difficult in accommodating my needs for an extensive kitchen remodel. Eilan was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to not only meet the design intent, but explained to my clients the importance of why it needed to be done. The home had some challenges but Eilan made the process very smooth. I was able to work with him via as-built drawings and photographs of the kitchen. The first round of structural drawings needed to be adjusted and he was able to turn around my redlines in less than 2 days. As an architectural designer this is something I truly appreciate because project delays are not pleasant for any one involved. I have definitely found my go to Structural Engineer and I look for to working on future projects with Aronian Structural Engineering. read more
