What stands out to me most about the school is the diversity in teaching staff; our classes are taught by herbalists from around the country and the world, which affords us students a variety in class subjects. For example, in our first year, we were able to study Ayurveda, TCM, humoral medicine, flower essences, medicine making and nourishing foods, just to name a few topics. ArborVitae's curriculum is rigorous but fun. I am planning on completing the school's three-year program, after which I will have a theoretical and practical base from which to start my own herbal practice. Because its classes are small, students are given a lot of time and personal attention from the school's two founding herbalists.
