The point of this is that for how crowed it was we were served fast, the line moved along and there was ample seating still. We got our kids two huge muffins that they couldn't t finish, (the pumpkin was superior to the apple) and egg sandwiches, which were fine nothing to write home about. The boarhead packaging is the only thing I would change. If I remember correctly they have iced coffee and cold brew; the cold brew is far superior

I got a vanilla iced coffee and a rice bowl with lemon vinaigrette dressing. It was the perfect amount of food and healthy but tasty. My girlfriend had the French toast and the Maine-iac smoothie. The French toast was made with wheat toast and only two thin sliced pieces of toast. She wouldn't order that again. The smoothie was good. It primarily tasted like strawberry and banana but had blueberries and other stuff in it. The staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. I now understand the line out the door. We will be back.

Service was okay - they have several signs around the cafe, including how they prefer cash. The coffees were fine, but not better than what we have tried around downtown Wolfeboro during our trip. I'm glad we tried it, but likely will not come back.

Unfortunately there are not alot of coffee places around Mount Roberts, especially none that were open at 3pm on a Thursday. So YELP to the rescue and what a sweet one it was! Lucas Roasting Company is a small bisiness tucked away in Wolfboro. Pretty standard coffee drinks but #IYKYK - some of the best coffee comes from small roasting companies. I ended up with a delicous iced coffee and took some canned nitro back with me to CT. This year - again we hiked up (and down) Mount Roberts but this year it was H O T - so it was a no brainer where to head to for some caffine and cooling off. This year I met who I think was one of the owners who gave me the origin story (they are originally from VA) and told me that they have been open for a bit over 3 years. There was no cold brew in the cooler but this time it was a Nitro Cold Brew that was ordered and consumed before we made it back to our lodgings. I wish they were closer but it's good to know that they are "just down the road" from my yearly hiking venue.

It's the place you want to sit with a lavender latte (my favorite!) or grab something quick without sacrificing quality. The food is where they really shine--everything I've tried has been amazing. The bahn mi, buffalo chicken wrap, dilly salmon sandwich, gyro with lamb, and the açaí bowl have been my favorites so far. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Their homemade sauces take everything up a notch (and I often get extra because I love sauces) and the smoothies are great for a quick filling option. I also love that they've got plenty of grab-n-go options, interesting bubble waffles, and a big variety of drinks including lots of coffee teas seltzer drinks and even ice cream floats. The pastries are also to die for (chocolate croissant and spinach ham swirl have been my favorite so far). There's always something new to try. Whether you're hanging out for a while or just running in, this place is a total gem and hands-down beats any cafe around. I'm so glad they've stayed open longer this fall, and I hope they'll stay open year round eventually! Don't miss out during the summer tourist time, and order by phone or online in advance if you're driving by for a quick efficient stop.
