We sat in the front room, and it was rather warm in there, but it was an unusually hot day for mid-September. There was only one other couple there when me and my husband arrived and it took a while for the server to come over and ask if we wanted drinks. By the time he did, several other people had arrived, and they all got their drinks before we did. It even took forever to get our drinks; we could see them dying at the bar waiting to be ran. I'll be honest, the service wasn't the best, it was obvious the server might have been newer in the sense of experience with a large party. He was very friendly and had a great demeanor but was extremely forgetful, which he mentioned several times. Once everyone was settled, we started with Appetizers. The Goat Cheese Fritters, with Bacon Date Aioli, Honey and Parsley are always my go to. They are small little goat cheese balls deep fried to perfection and delicious every time. For dinner we shared the Bone-In Pork Schnitzel that has a Tonkatsu Glaze, Sauerkraut, charred lemon and Japanese potato salad, and a side of mac n cheese. The Pork was extremely dry and flavorless and there was no glaze on it. The mac n cheese was just okay. One of my friends got the Braised Short Rib Adobo (brown beech & crimini mushrooms, creamy risotto) and let me have a taste. Let's just say I was extremely jealous I chose the wrong entrée for dinner, it was so good!

Kayla was the manager and she was concocting some new drink creations for the upcoming widow walk. People go from place to place ( similar to a pub crawl ). When our server finally arrived, she acted like she didn't want to be there. My wife asked for a recommendation, but the response was vague and unhelpful. Our drink order was wrong. My wife and I ordered waters, and our son ordered a Sprite, but we received two lemonades and one water instead. After taking our order, our server disappeared. She never brought our food, checked on us, asked if we needed refills, or stopped by the table again. The manager walked past our table several times but never seemed interested in checking on our experience. The biggest issue was my son's meal. He ordered chicken sliders with the sauce on the side, but they arrived covered in sauce. Another employee took the meal back to be remade, but it came back wrong a second time. By then, my wife and I had already finished eating, and our son had been waiting nearly an hour without a proper meal. When I spoke with the manager, I asked that my son's meal be removed from the bill. Instead of taking responsibility and apologizing, the manager offered excuses rather than solutions. Mistakes can happen, but it's how they're handled that matters. Unfortunately, the customer service from both our server and the manager was disappointing.
