The staff here are always super friendly, happy to provide recommendations and have you try all the products. There's loads of testers for body oils, lotions, room sprays and other smelly things. I love that everything is based on essential oils, so you don't have to worry about stinky chemicals or irritants. I love using essential oils in my vaporiser at home to help keep myself focussed during the day, or relaxed in the evening. As much as I love candles, they sometimes let off smelly fumes and smoke and I often forget to blow them out. The vaporisers that they sell at Perfect Potion are really lovely, with different finishes to suit different home decor, plus the added benefit of having timers built in which means you don't need to worry about turning them off when you go to bed or leave the house.

The Aesop store on High Street is one of my favourites, even though it is quite a small unit because of the people that work here. Not only are the people friendly, they know their stuff and you don't have to worry about whether they're just trying to make a sale. They are also more than willing to do demonstrations on the spot for any products you are curious about. Even though I'm sure that often helps with making the sale as well, very often it doesn't and it's good to know that you can get great service here without being pre-judged like at some other stores. Did I mention caring? I had my dog with me when I was there last and was happy for him to stay outside while I picked up my face cream but the lovely girl refused to let me do that. Think she loved dogs and it made my shopping experience even nicer than normal.

They also know when people are interested in conversation and when business is to be conducted in comfortable silence. They use Loreal products, which is great for brighter hair colours. They're also not stingy with the application of dye, and are great at taking feedback, making suggestions and sussing out their customer's hair boundaries. Sam's also offered to trim fringes for free between major cuts, and to re-do anything that hasn't come out quite right. She can do curly and straight hair, and is especially good with your more choppy and funky hairstyles. Having recently moved premises, the shop's bathed in a halo of natural sunlight throughout the day. However, tall people beware: the toilet out the back is a throwback to the days of yore and not built for anyone over 175cm. The whole operation is casual but professional, and you don't have to book months in advance (though a week or two is probably advisable). To top it off, my full hair colouring and cut only costs $155, so it's very reasonably priced. A great find all-round. Please don't ruin it for me!

Customer Service: The staff is here is AMAZINGLY friendly. I spoke with a chemist regarding my issues and she was so helpful with recommending to me what I needed, especially since I was feeling pretty clueless. She explained to me the product and was happy to answer all of my questions. Not to mention Priceline's affordability, combined with the great staff makes for a great shopping experience! I have been in several times and been served by several different staff members all of who took an interest and provided excellent advice on the suitability of the products for my skin type. They also don't mind if you just come in to look and not buy. I have been known to just go in and smell through the magnificent range of perfumes. The store stocks men's products, hair, body washes, face masks, cleaning products, accessories, soaps and did I mention perfume? The online Web store is also a nice experience, well laid out and easy to use from a browser or your phone.
